I regard the mighty car-warrior Karna as thy equal, or perhaps, thy superior! With the greatest care and resolution shouldst thou slay him in great battle. In energy he is equal to Agni. As regards speed, he is equal to the impetuosity of the wind. In wrath, he resembles the Destroyer himself. Endued with might, he resembles a lion in the formation of his body. He is eight ratnis in stature. His arms are large. His chest is broad. He is invincible. He is sensitive. He is a hero. He is, again, the foremost of heroes. He is exceedingly handsome. Possessed of every accomplishment of a warrior, he is a dispeller of the fears of friends. No one, not even the gods with Vasava at their head, can slay the son of Radha. No one possessed of flesh and blood, not even the gods fighting with great care, not all the warriors (of the three worlds) fighting together can vanquish that car-warrior.
Proving Karna's power doesn't change his actions or character. Ravana was powerful. Hiranyakashyapa was powerful. Hitler was powerful. And yes, like them Karna was powerful. But what did he do with the power bestowed on him? Did he use his strength for good causes, like protecting the vulnerable or preventing the war. No. He never used his power for the welfare of the society. He always abused the great gift bestowed on him. Krishna’s praise of Karna’s power was often exaggerated to motivate Arjuna. Krishna emphasized caution because of Karna's divine weapons and reckless nature, not because he believed Karna was stronger than Arjuna. Krishna's statements sometimes contradicted reality to serve higher purposes, such as motivating the Pandavas or guiding them strategically. For instance, Krishna exaggerated Karna's prowess to ensure Arjuna remained vigilant, despite knowing Karna's previous defeats( Gurudakshina battle, Swayamvara battle, Gandharva battle, Virat war ). He never suggested Karna could defeat Arjuna. None of the warriors really called them equal - Shiva himself proclaimed Arjuna to be the greatest warrior. Parshuram too announced that Arjuna in invincible and no one can battle with him. Bhisma called him atirathi. Drona compared him with Indra. Krishna challenged entire Kuru assembly that no one can defeat Arjuna. But the best comes from Karna himself. On multiple occasion Karna himself claimed Arjuna to be better than him - He approaches Drona to say he need Brahmasira because he thinks he should be equal to Arjuna. Earlier he found Arjuna to be better than everyone. After Draupadi Swyamvara, Karna retreated scared comparing Arjuna with Indra, Vishnu and Parshurama and personification of war. After Gandharva war, unknowingly that Arjuna won it, announced that he doesn’t think anyone can achieve the feat that he had performed. In front of Indra he confesses that he is terrified of Arjuna. Before his death on day 17, he again confessed that there is no warrior or archer who is Arjuna’s equal to Shalya. When evaluating Krishna's words, one should consider the broader context and cross-references from other characters like Parshurama, Drona, Bhishma, and the god of gods Mahadeva. Ultimately, power's value lies in its use for good, not in its mere possession. Karna's failure to use his power responsibly diminishes any claim of his greatness. Krishna's purpose was to establish Dharma, often using his words to guide and inspire rather than to convey factual accuracy. Krishna consistently believed Arjuna was superior and capable of defeating Karna, even if he exaggerated Karna's strengths for motivational purposes. The essence of Krishna’s statements lies in their wisdom and intent to uphold Dharma, rather than literal truth. This is not found in any authentic texts like the Critical Edition of the Mahabharata, KMG, Gita Press, or BORI. In the original Mahabharata, no warrior, including Karna, ever attempted to push an enemy's chariot. If Karna could push Arjuna's chariot, he should have been able to push the chariots of other warriors like Bhima, Dhristadyumna, Abhimanyu, and Satyaki out of the milky way galaxy atleast😂, but this never happened. So neither Arjuna pushed Karna’s chariot back nor Karna pushed Arjuna’s chariot. This story is baseless. TV serials or movies are not the accurate representations of the epic.

Lord Krishna's confession about Karna's Superiority to Arjuna Just Before his Duel with Karna in Vyasa Mahabharata:
Hear in brief, O son of Pandu! I regard the mighty car-warrior Karna as thy equal, or perhaps, thy superior! With the greatest care and resolution shouldst thou slay him in great battle. In energy he is equal to Agni. As regards speed, he is equal to the impetuosity of the wind. In wrath, he resembles the Destroyer himself. Endued with might, he resembles a lion in the formation of his body. He is eight ratnis in stature. His arms are large. His chest is broad. He is invincible. He is sensitive. He is a hero. He is, again, the foremost of heroes. He is exceedingly handsome. Possessed of every accomplishment of a warrior, he is a dispeller of the fears of friends. No one, not even the gods with Vasava at their head, can slay the son of Radha. No one possessed of flesh and blood, not even the gods fighting with great care, not all the warriors (of the three worlds) fighting together can vanquish that car-warrior.
Proving Karna's power doesn't change his actions or character. Ravana was powerful. Hiranyakashyapa was powerful. Hitler was powerful. And yes, like them Karna was powerful. But what did he do with the power bestowed on him? Did he use his strength for good causes, like protecting the vulnerable or preventing the war. No. He never used his power for the welfare of the society. He always abused the great gift bestowed on him. Krishna’s praise of Karna’s power was often exaggerated to motivate Arjuna. Krishna emphasized caution because of Karna's divine weapons and reckless nature, not because he believed Karna was stronger than Arjuna.
Krishna's statements sometimes contradicted reality to serve higher purposes, such as motivating the Pandavas or guiding them strategically. For instance, Krishna exaggerated Karna's prowess to ensure Arjuna remained vigilant, despite knowing Karna's previous defeats( Gurudakshina battle, Swayamvara battle, Gandharva battle, Virat war ). He never suggested Karna could defeat Arjuna. None of the warriors really called them equal -
Shiva himself proclaimed Arjuna to be the greatest warrior.
Parshuram too announced that Arjuna in invincible and no one can battle with him.
Bhisma called him atirathi.
Drona compared him with Indra.
Krishna challenged entire Kuru assembly that no one can defeat Arjuna.
But the best comes from Karna himself. On multiple occasion Karna himself claimed Arjuna to be better than him -
He approaches Drona to say he need Brahmasira because he thinks he should be equal to Arjuna. Earlier he found Arjuna to be better than everyone.
After Draupadi Swyamvara, Karna retreated scared comparing Arjuna with Indra, Vishnu and Parshurama and personification of war.
After Gandharva war, unknowingly that Arjuna won it, announced that he doesn’t think anyone can achieve the feat that he had performed.
In front of Indra he confesses that he is terrified of Arjuna.
Before his death on day 17, he again confessed that there is no warrior or archer who is Arjuna’s equal to Shalya.
When evaluating Krishna's words, one should consider the broader context and cross-references from other characters like Parshurama, Drona, Bhishma, and the god of gods Mahadeva.
Ultimately, power's value lies in its use for good, not in its mere possession. Karna's failure to use his power responsibly diminishes any claim of his greatness. Krishna's purpose was to establish Dharma, often using his words to guide and inspire rather than to convey factual accuracy. Krishna consistently believed Arjuna was superior and capable of defeating Karna, even if he exaggerated Karna's strengths for motivational purposes. The essence of Krishna’s statements lies in their wisdom and intent to uphold Dharma, rather than literal truth. The overall message is that Arjuna, supported by Krishna, was unparalleled and destined to uphold Dharma, while Karna, despite his power, lacked the righteousness and proper use of his abilities.

That scene from the movie where Karna pushing Arjuna's chariot in the Mahabharata is a fictional invention from TV shows, novels and movies. This is not found in any authentic texts like the Critical Edition of the Mahabharata, KMG, Gita Press, or BORI. In the original Mahabharata, no warrior, including Karna, ever attempted to push an enemy's chariot. If Karna could push Arjuna's chariot, he should have been able to push the chariots of other warriors like Bhima, Dhristadyumna, Abhimanyu, and Satyaki out of the milky way galaxy atleast😂, but this never happened. So neither Arjuna pushed Karna’s chariot back nor Karna pushed Arjuna’s chariot. This story is baseless. TV serials or movies are not the accurate representations of the epic.

From Vyas mahabharatha only karna lost so many battles in the war and ran away 😂😂 he lost battle against arjuna in virata Parva, he lost battle against Abhimanyu who is a young boy (16years) and afraid of his valour and ran away and karna lost battle even with gandharvas, sathyaki etc 😂😂 where is his valour then 😂😂all are fake misconceptions about karna 😂
