Dont jou think encre noir sport smells like le labo bergamote 22 if you put them side by side you will smell a lot of similaritys. Like the bergamote and the grapefruit and the vetiver and the musk are all the same. I have both and find them very similar. What do you think sebastian. I own all 3. The OG is my favorite one. 2. L'Extreme. 3. Sport. The Sport version is not bad, but in my opinion too watered down. A nice summer fragrance, but not special. I often use the OG Encre Noire when going out into the forest during fall and winter 🙂
I actually love the Terre D' Hermes and already finished two bottles. I'm actually being told most of the times that my choice of perfumes are a bit age inappropriate since I'm only 22 but I just love how intense these scents are. I'm also an avid fan of Amouage (especially Interlude Man).

Sabastian is right, Im actually wearing Encre Noir now in the middle of the Florida Summer heat and its quite bright, my body heat is projecting it beautifully. Got 2 compliments today so far 5 hours after application.. not bad😊
I smelled the perfume in the store because I saw a lot of positive comments about it... I bought it.. The first time I put it on I smelled a rough and spicy smell and was very surprised because the store smelled more pleasant... After five hours I was going to wash my hands when I suddenly smelled a mesmerizing smell on me and I knew it was Reminds me of another perfume but in a crazy way .. I would say ... then I remembered that this perfume smells exactly like chanel bleu To be honest, I was shocked because none of the cases of perfumes in the world said that it smells like Chanel Bleu Many have noted that it reminds of Versace pure You can say that you have made a new and most importantly very interesting discovery! From Israel !!!!

Imagine if he just amped up the intensity of the vetiver more and more ... then you have encre noir. It's vetiver is so prominent and not tamed by many other notes it's not as east to wear in all.occasions unlike tom fords.
Literally got a bottle of Encre Noire sport yesterday. This was a blind buy and went solely off reviews. I gotta say this is good stuff. I was rocking Guerlain Homme which has a nice vetiver, but ENS is super vetiver mixed with a sour grapefruit. Definitely would like to try the extreme encre noire. Florida, USA. Thanks!!
Great review Sebastian. I, like you, love Vetiver fragrances. In fact my signature fragrance is TF Grey Vetiver. I can't enter the competition as I live in the UK. But I thought I'd tell you that. I will be buying all of these fragrances. Found them at awesome prices. I can get all three in 100ml for less than £100. You speak so passionately about them. My favorite by far is Lalique ENCRE NOIRE. I actually found this because of your video about it so THANK YOU! Absolutely love this fragrance and get compliments at work all the time for it. My favorite thing about it is that it is so polarizing and attention-grabbing, I also get to smell it all day as it literally lasts 13+ hours on my skin. The fragrance I would love to try is ENCRE NOIRE SPORT. Thank you and love your channel.
My favorite vetiver to date is Bal D’Afrique by Byredo. I own the original Encre Noire and it is a must stay in my collection. I don’t wear it as much as I should and that may be because I have somber memories attached to Encre Noire. I was wearing Encre Noire the same evening which a friend of mine had his life taken. I remember that night being in a car after getting the bad news. I’m wearing EN, which is already strong, and it began pumping off my body so hard that I knew I was choking my other friend in the car to death. Here in Ukraine we can get EN for 25 bucks and ENAE for 35 bucks for 100ml. Great scent and according to the price I would say - very good vetiver deal.
Agree that A L'EXTREME is very close to Chanel Sycomore, at least in the actual scent. However, that's where the comparison ends as the Lalique's performance is no where near Chanel Sycomore in either the EDT or EDP. Not even close, I get maybe 6 hrs on a really good day with A L'EXTREME vs 10 hours + with Sycomore. IMHO, the A L'EXTREME is still the better deal at the insanely cheap prices it can be had for. This is why we but travel atomizers right? :)
Noire l'extreme is my most favorite, beautiful veltier incense patchulli combo, so well blendex, cant believe its that cheap. I was sold by the first snift. All 3 are good tho

I really like it and it is a great office scent, but would like something a bet louder. That being said, I think I would like to win the A L'Extreme. I was sitting at home trying to figure out which of the three to purchase. I currently have TFGV (EDP) and a bottle of Guerlain Vetiver on the way. I also have a 10ml sample of the A'LExtreme which I like as well and was sitting at home trying to figure out which of the 3 Lalique would be best to order. The best vetiver on the market is Vetiver Extraordinaire Frederic Malle .Even through i don't like the original , both Sport and L'Extreme are super good.L'Extreme is the one i'd like to win - it's marketed for men only, but it's 100% unisex . Virginia

I love Encre Noire, it is my favorite vetiver right now, though I like Terre D' Hermes quite a bit as well. I've really been wanting to try EN l'Extreme, and the Sport sounds like a good option when it warms up in another 6 months here in northern Indiana.
I bought a decant of encre noire and fell in love so I ordered a bottle of sport which should arrive tomorrow. Super excited! I don't have much experience with vetiver but i really like commodity's vetiver. Im in Michigan and would love l'extreme to round out this collection.

I must admit I dont get Encre Noir a l'extreme. My tastes aren't very refined so maybe im missing something. To me its not even a fragrance. Its like smelling a basement or a cardboard box. It's just musty and doesnt seem to dry down to anything significant either. In fact, its entirely disappeared from my skin after 4 hours. I do prefer the more citrus / floral scents so maybe im not the right customer. Glad i just bought a decant. Great video though. Very informative.

The only vetiver scent I have a lot of experience with is Terre d'Hermes. I don't know if it's my favorite but it's really great. After watching your video with Ashely I really want to try L'Extreme and it's the perfect time of the year for this scent. I'm from Arizona.

I'm not really a fun of vetiver, but I love Vetiver 46 by Le Labo. It's so beautiful and strong, reminds me of my grandma in a good way. I never tried any of Lalique, but Encre Noir sounds wonderful. I hope it will not be too strong for mild winter in California. Thank you for very detailed review.

Hmm...favorite vetiver right now is Guerlain's Vetiver though EN Sport is a very close 2nd. I own EN Sport and Extreme so I'd love to top off the collection with the original. Live in New Mexico.

I would say yes, Sport is better if ability to wear or versatility matters. Extreme is good, but limited situations to wear, so collects a lot of dust.
I have all 3. I love the A L’EXTRÈME. Like the original. The Sport is a tad too feminine for me, but I might appreciate it more in summer heat. Tere d’Hermes is my fav vetiver scent. I would love to win a bottle of A L’EXTRÈME. I live inTennessee.
The only vetiver fragrance I own is the original Encre Noir. I adore the scent and the bottle. My pick would be A L'Extreme because I adore the original so much though the sport sounds intriguing. Nashville, TN area btw.

My all time favorite Vetiver is the classic Guerlain Vetiver. I have both the original Encre Noir and A La Extreme and would love the Sport! I absolutely get the connection to Sycomore - which I have as well.
I own all three.. And I have to say the original is on another level, but again it's hard ranking them as they're elegant on there own. Encre noire 👉🏾"The master piece" elegant woody smell. Sport👉🏾 "The classy one" in its dry down phase it smells exactly like the OG but weak/faint. A'l extreme👉🏾smells like an elegant wood workshop.
I haven't tried any of these, they are not available in the department stores around me. I live Texas and I'd love to win A L'EXTREME version. I love Mugler cologne, I think it has a good amount of vetiver.

definitely helped me clear out my mind on which encre noire i want, i bought the original encre noire because i want it as my second winter-fall fragrance apart from dior homme, and i also have versace pour homme as my summer-spring, really small collection but i will certainly try my best to make it bigger, since i also want to, but yeah, sport for me is fine and so is extreme, but for something like a dark, also evil, churcy fragrance i feel like the original is the best for me, since extreme is something for more formal ocassions and i already have a summer fragrance that works well for the gym, these videos really help me understand what i need and really want

Absolutely love the original , and it very well may be the best vetiver fragrance pound for pound considering the low price you can get it at.👍

The best vetiver on the market is Vetiver Extraordinaire Frederic Malle .Even through i don't like the original , both Sport and L'Extreme are super good.L'Extreme is the one i'd like to win - it's marketed for men only, but it's 100% unisex .

Great comparison video. The Encre Noire A L'Extreme sounds like it would be my choice to have. My current favorite vetiver is Mugler cologne. I've been seriously considering the Guerlain Vetiver Extreme also. I'm here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thanks and by the way, love the new theme music.
I love Encre Noire, it is my favorite vetiver right now, though I like Terre D' Hermes quite a bit as well. I've really been wanting to try EN l'Extreme, and the Sport sounds like a good option when it warms up in another 6 months here in northern Indiana.
I bought a decant of encre noire and fell in love so I ordered a bottle of sport which should arrive tomorrow. Super excited! I don't have much experience with vetiver but i really like commodity's vetiver. Im in Michigan and would love l'extreme to round out this collection.
I bought Laliqie encre noire for 14 euro on Notino and L'Xtreme also on notino for 28 Euro, both amazing
Really struggled to pick between ordering A La Extreme or sport, went for ALX, really excited to get it. If I like it I may pick the sport later.

Thanks for another great review! I do not own a vetiver fragrance, but I am thinking about buying Commodity Vetiver. I enjoy wearing vetiver essential oil. I think my husband and I would enjoy wearing Encre Noire. I live in South Dakota.

I love them all. I ordered Encre Noire Pour Elle...just to try it. It’s mostly a rose perfume...it’s great, but the vetiver is low key..too low key.

I purchased Encre Noire a short time ago and fell in love with the fragrance. I would love to win a bottle of either Encre Noire Sport or Encre Noire A L’Extreme but if I don’t it really doesn’t matter because I will likely have purchased both, well that is my plan anyway.

I must admit I dont get Encre Noir a l'extreme. My tastes aren't very refined so maybe im missing something. To me its not even a fragrance. Its like smelling a basement or a cardboard box. It's just musty and doesnt seem to dry down to anything significant either. In fact, its entirely disappeared from my skin after 4 hours. I do prefer the more citrus / floral scents so maybe im not the right customer. Glad i just bought a decant. Great video though. Very informative.
I just picked up ENCRE NOIRE A L'EXTREME and that is currently my favorite vetiver, I would love to try the Sport version as I am in California and would love a more versatile scent! Keep up the great vids!

I’ve got the original Encre Noire and the Sport, as well as Guerlain Vetiver, Terre d’Hermes and Rasasi Woody. My fav is probably TdH because of versatility. I’d love to win the EN Extreme to complete the trio. I’m in New York State.
The only vetiver scent I have a lot of experience with is Terre d'Hermes. I don't know if it's my favorite but it's really great. After watching your video with Ashely I really want to try L'Extreme and it's the perfect time of the year for this scent. I'm from Arizona.

I'm not really a fun of vetiver, but I love Vetiver 46 by Le Labo. It's so beautiful and strong, reminds me of my grandma in a good way. I never tried any of Lalique, but Encre Noir sounds wonderful.

Now that I’ve watched this, I’ll need to sniff and compare some vetiver fragrances. I haven’t tried these ones from Lalique but my favorite vetiver fragrance is Bal d’Afrique.

I have the encre noire. Not sure what vetiver smells like as a stand alone note, but I get lots of cedar. Love it though. Now I'd like to try the extreme version. Sounds very enticing. Hope to be a winner in California!

Hmm...favorite vetiver right now is Guerlain's Vetiver though EN Sport is a very close 2nd. I own EN Sport and Extreme so I'd love to top off the collection with the original. Live in New Mexico.

Over the A L'EXTREME
I would say yes, Sport is better if ability to wear or versatility matters. Extreme is good, but limited situations to wear, so collects a lot of dust.
I have all 3. I love the A L’EXTRÈME. Like the original. The Sport is a tad too feminine for me, but I might appreciate it more in summer heat. Tere d’Hermes is my fav vetiver scent. I would love to win a bottle of A L’EXTRÈME. I live inTennessee.
The only vetiver fragrance I own is the original Encre Noir. I adore the scent and the bottle. My pick would be A L'Extreme because I adore the original so much though the sport sounds intriguing. Nashville, TN area btw.
Have yet to try any of the line, but would love the chance. AT’s Vetiver Dance is my all time favorite Vetiver. Very dense with a rose element. Guerlain’s is also very good. Sport would be choice of the three, but they all sound top notch. 👍🏻 Live in Cal.
Right now my favorite Vetiver is Terre de Hermes Extreme Vetiver. I havent tried anything by LaLique yet, but I think the Extreme is also the most appealing to me. I live in the Bay Area, CA too. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I only have Encre Noir original, but it is absolutely one of my favorite fragrances in my burgeoning collection. However, I would be keen to try the "sport" version because of its perceived increased wearability.

My all time favorite Vetiver is the classic Guerlain Vetiver. I have both the original Encre Noir and A La Extreme and would love the Sport! I absolutely get the connection to Sycomore - which I have as well.

Encre noire 👉🏾"The master piece" elegant woody smell.
Sport👉🏾 "The classy one" in its dry down phase it smells exactly like the OG but weak/faint.
A'l extreme👉🏾smells like an elegant wood workshop.
I haven't tried any of these, they are not available in the department stores around me. I live Texas and I'd love to win A L'EXTREME version. I love Mugler cologne, I think it has a good amount of vetiver.

Good review sir. I have Encre Noire (Awesome juice) and have had Encre Noire Sport. I really want to try the L'Extreme and would like to get my hands on it. My fave vetiver scents are Egoiste Platinium (Chanel), Encre Noire, The Good Life (Davidoff) and Vetiver Extreme (Guerlain). I know I am leaving several off that I like... just can't think of them at the moment. I live in Georgia (USA).

I bought them both largely based on your and Ashley's feedback. I have never tried the sport so that would be the one I would prefer. I live in Georgia.

Awesome video !! I have all the 3 and my favorite is the original one..by far!!. It's my second bottle. IMHO you don't need a l'extrême if you have the original. And guys don't listen what people say ..this is wearable... more than Mugler A-Men lol !! Sport is really good as well...different.

I am new to this amazing world of fragrances and you & some of the other reviewers have done some awesome work in providing guidance regarding fragrances. Your videos have really helped me get an awesome fragrance for my dad. Now for the vetiver, currently I only own Bal d'Afrique by Byredo sample and I think its has very good vetiver note. definitely helped me clear out my mind on which encre noire i want, i bought the original encre noire because i want it as my second winter-fall fragrance apart from dior homme, and i also have versace pour homme as my summer-spring, really small collection but i will certainly try my best to make it bigger, since i also want to, but yeah, sport for me is fine and so is extreme, but for something like a dark, also evil, churcy fragrance i feel like the original is the best for me, since extreme is something for more formal ocassions and i already have a summer fragrance that works well for the gym, these videos really help me understand what i need and really want
