To that point, anyone know who in Tastosis would win out in a best of 5? If they each were asked that would they answer the same? Alternatively, has this show match taken place and I missed it? One thing I always wanted to ask higher tier players is how to develop or work on APM? Is there any particular things to practice that make it easier to handle or is it just endless repetition and honing muscle memory? Thanks for casting all the games Arty. You're the best.
Practice build orders that force you to do things at precise timings (certain tech buildings or upgrades etc) while keeping your minerals low by consistently building your army while remembering to tell your workers to mine
Whats the difference in dps and range of turrets vs ranged Goliaths vs shuttles? Seems like putting a couple Gols where shuttles come in could work better than the turrets?
Man he walked way to much back to deal with those shuttles. Not saying i would've done any better but damn. One gol in the base and the reaver shuttle would be dead with the reavers either dying with it or to mines. Speaking of reavers, there are walls that are tight to scarabs. Why do we never see that? You could wall in a siege tank, surround it with turrets so that its suicidal to drop zealots on it (could even build it in completely so there is no room to drop next to it) make a scarab tight wall above it (factory/starport, addon, armory, in that order. Make armory below refinery and its tight there as well) and put mines around it. Now you basically have one untouchable tank in your main. They cant zealot bomb it, they can't mine drag it. Scarabs will often time out before they reach it. Just one tank, 2-3 vultures and their mines will be enough to deal with a drops very cost effective if they're already in position when it happens. Throw in more mines and an extra tank and its suicidal to recall as well. I'm just a shitty noob but from my experience its so cost effective if you're proactive instead of reactive.
That's the thing when you say "in that order" a very good opponent is applying pressure so you are not able to nonchalantly build tech buildings or setup defence how you want much less when you want

@@Lappmogel That's not exactly what I'm saying and I'm not going back into the video to confirm the buildings themselves but for example, you are currently microing in your natural against a drop and its the timing to build an armory, you aren't going to switch back to your main base and strategically spend time placing that building. It doesn't make sense. Same with the APM that needs to be used to wall in a tank (things get in the way, scvs build funny, unit rallys) etc. It just isn't feasible at top tier where you need to allocate apm strategically. It's like hey you stopped the drop but have no army and income

I think nagging like that since the beginning by Stork is an optimal solution. Toss can contain and harass like that until the first tank comes up, then terrans get more advantage in mid game in getting more territories. But that's just mine rookie opinion

theres a program that analyzes keystrokes, and basically they can easily decipher whos who pretty quickly also i assume sometimes they just reveal who they are sometimes

The fact that the prtoss needs 2x teh bases to beat a Terran means that Terran units are 100% overpowered and need a 50% nerf. Microsoft needs to hire me to balance up SC, I'd nerf the siege tanks HP by 50% and vultures mines by 50%. I'd also increase science vessel cost by 50% and EMP research cost will double. Then we can talk about the comsat, medics and valks, they will be next on the chopping block. let me apply to Microsoft now.

Also can't stop the 3rd Protoss base because it takes Terran 100+ supply to deal with 2 reavers and a shuttle to not loose the game. This feels like protoss is on autoplay and Terran is punished for every little misstep. Where is the Artosis that would cuss how stupid this is? There's nuance to 2 base vs 3 base in PvT. He didn't go in to detail, but he alluded to it by saying that it's "kind of ok". 2 bases 2 bases is T favoured but somewhat playable for P for a while ("kind of ok"), while 2 bases vs 3 bases is P favoured but somewhat playable for T for a while ("kind of ok"). In practice, it will be 2 bases vs 2 for a while, followed by 3 bases vs 2 for a while. Depending on which state the game is in for longer before transitioning, one of the races may or may not have an advantage. Artosis said nothing incorrect. Also, if he just whined about the game all day on these commentaries (like you want him to for some reason), they would be shitty and no one would watch them. In the real world outside of the scrub's mind, every race has won and continues to win tournaments and sponsored matches at the highest level, and this map in particular has a nigh 50% winrate in every racial matchup.
Why dont you create you own cast channel? I have seen many matches seeing 2 bases terran, holding protoss on 3 bases, while harassing protoss possible 4 base. As Protoss doesnt go 4 bases Terran can hold. Microing reavers is exhausting, while terran can rest their tanks near turrets to defend the mining in both bases. You are just getting yourself carried by an old meme around Artosis and the fact he has a hard time getting that 3rd base. But a very aggressive terran can keep harassing Protoss in order to not get that 4 base.

How do you tell the barcodes apart to know which Player hides behind which barcode?
I heard Apm and play style can actually give you a pretty good idea of who’s playing if you aren’t sure.
