I mean. Scan is the perfect human. He has the patience to listen to Artosis, the wisdom to coach an uncoachable Terran also named Artosis, the fast hands to be a BW pro and make tender love to my wife, what else do you want?
Worst part about CNSL is that it eventually has to end. But then again that just means there is another one able to start. Amazing game and cast as per usual, thanks Artosis!
The title doesn't disappoint. So many crucial units were down to red, which ended up tilting small engagements, back and fourth, constantly 'til the very end. best game so far. Well, there was the proxy 2 gate where gg was called before a unit died, that was a sick game.
would like to note that motive lost his only observer to a missile turret just north of the bridges. that really put a lot of steam into scan's push with the minefield followup!
Clutch decisions! I'd be curious to see a video of Scan explaining some of the high points throughout his CNSL run, including the Reaver bait. PS: Hope your dump is going well today.
11:43 I often wonder if Artosis is watching the same game we are. The shuttle pulled back "beautifully" but the reavers got left behind and destroyed and not mentioned then he talked about goons dying?
Hehe it looks like he was trying to check the shuttle health and not really looking up at the reavers onscreen. Commentary misses happen, we're all human lol
i feel this was pretty good match as the mid game fighting and the push on the third felt so close and "if they stablize with carriers Motive feels ahead"
Completely agree that he should have focused more on making carriers. I was disappointed to see that as Scan was pushing down Motive wasn't making carriers yet, he just kept making gateway units (without legs or even a citadel). If he doesn't make more goons and starts a carrier as soon as the beacon is done he has a carrier in time to make a big difference and he can still make some more gateway units. Retaining those units and abusing the bridges is pretty powerful here
How come no Terran players use Ghosts as part of their defense against Protoss players? They can use Lockdown to prevent Shuttles from dropping reavers and Arbiters from Recalling units. I'm far from being an experienced SC player, but from what i've seen, reaver dropping seems popular.
First let me just say this topic has been talked about to death in the brood war community. "Ghost" is literally a banned word on some of the terran Korean pro streams. Anyway, the explanation usually goes that they: are too expensive, take too long to tech to, take too much apm to use effectively, and die too easily. I should note that Royal has tried using them in the last couple years and never stuck with them. If one of the best terrrans in the world gave them a shot in the modern meta and decided it wasn't worth using them, that has to tell you something. Additionally I'll say that they ARE good in theory. I wouldn't be surprised if some day they become used more regularly.
You'd never get Ghosts + Lockdown tech in time to stop the Reaver harass. By the time your ghosts are ready, Protoss has already transitioned into late-game macro. It'd be like a Zerg trying to use guardians to counter a cannon rush. You sometimes can see Ghosts against Carriers or Arbiters, but the thing is, they're not that convenient to use. It's a big investment in a technology that doesn't scale with your Mech army, and your Ghost is: - Micro-intensive. - Very squishy. - Low-ranged compared to the units you'd want him to counter. Typically, the Carrier effective range is 50% higher than Lockdown. So it'd be really hard to successfully lockdown Carriers against a competent Protoss. That's why it's generally not worth the investment: you're spending lots of resources into a big "highlight moment" that's unlikely to ever happen. You do see Ghost attempts once in a while though. Situationally, against heavy Arbiter play, they can be a decent idea. :)
So let me get this straight - proxy gate, gets scouted, fails, gas steal, fails, run-by, fails, tries to bust, fails, loses probes, loses literally all his units to a push like 5 times, doesn't mine from his 3rd for more than 2 minutes, gets 15 probes lower than Terran, and JUST BBBBBBBAAAAARELY loses. Aight I guess.
You can hear the agony of a lifetime of protoss aggression in that "NO"
"NOOOOO sorry not biased at all here." hahaha
Absolute world class scv drilling from Scan
Artosis: I'm not biased.
Also Artosis: Isn't Scan the perfect human?
xD xD
It is what it is 😂
Why do people so often lately use the noun for the adjective? ("Bias" instead of "biased," "ice tea," "barb wire"?)
@@JackVermicelli Thanks mate, fixed it. Was typing it too fast on my phone :D
@@JackVermicelli Btw some nouns can be used as adjective too (attributive nouns): race car, nursery school, government official ...

Hey Guys, Welcome back to Artosis Casts
Gogogo
Hope you are having a good day, its about to get better
The Grand Final.
Aaaaooooouuuuullll
Thank you
What a clinic on proper pushing. Even brought an SCV for repairs and Turrets.
Scan has really improved as a Terran, always fun to watch.
Second that. Superb play
Missing science vessel emp and toss and missing storm
From that clutch defense against (evil) proxy gate to that scrappy push against (evil) carrier builder, what a masterful game by Scan!
Arty saw bird and NEVER CLICKS IT. CLICK THAT BEERD
The title doesn't disappoint. So many crucial units were down to red, which ended up tilting small engagements, back and fourth, constantly 'til the very end.
best game so far. Well, there was the proxy 2 gate where gg was called before a unit died, that was a sick game.
Oh look it's 5 o'clock. Time for Artosis to address the nation.
I like seeing protoss going carrier and still losing. Usually once that transition happens, its over for terran
Ya only Scan knows how to make Protoss poor. A poor Protoss is crippled to the core!
good thing Scan ignored Artosis and pushed out instead of expanding lol
same. love seeing toss lose after carriers
This is textbook how to beat carriers. Don't let them.
would like to note that motive lost his only observer to a missile turret just north of the bridges. that really put a lot of steam into scan's push with the minefield followup!
That game was so back and forth, it was great! Thanks Artosis!
"NOOOOO"
That one was from pure ptsd 😂
Thanks for the consistent uploads, I love watching these before I fall asleep to round out my night
What a good game. This series has been amazing.
Go Scan!
We are gonna build a big, beautiful spoiler wall and the Protoss are gonna pay for it!
Well, being troy the next map Scan probably needed to win this game to stay with a chance of winning
cant get much better than this
Awesome game! This is a truly blessed cnsl series 🎉
Love these kind of games. Action from start and non stop small margin fights
It's an amazing day! Great cast!
Excellent play. I thought the game was going to Motive at the beginning. Thanks for the cast, Artosis! Can't wait for the next match
I do have a good day. Thank you Artosis.
Artosis is not biased against Protoss. He said it in this video and was very clear.
Clutch decisions! I'd be curious to see a video of Scan explaining some of the high points throughout his CNSL run, including the Reaver bait.
PS: Hope your dump is going well today.
A video with Scan describing his thinking to Artosis would be fantastic.
Definitely seconding this (thirding?)
Love how it wasnt even just a single push kill, he just had to pummel the protoss into submission by attacking continuously with each reinforcements
Terrible day, sadly, but this has made it much better!
Great cast Arty.
YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL SPOILER WALLS
Amazing game!!
I remember Scan years ago playing 2v2 @ iccup with scrubs like me... look at him now. Let's go Scan!!
Good game! The carriers we juuuust took late to make that difference! Scan played great all game from denying that initial attack to finishing string!
Excellent, crazy game
The thing with the evaporating dragons was somehow hilarous, made me laugh ^^ - good game, good cast!
very well played by scan that opener micro was intense and that push just barely had enough steam to push onto the 3rd
Oh my god that defense on the ramp was so clutch
Sick game, enjoyed that one
toast, you've never been right in making any call in your entire life
The back and forth was intense man
Scan SCV drilled my heart. ❤️
what a sick match
How many Goliath hits to kill an interceptor?
9:11, wow this vulture harrass interaction was so neat
i feel this was pretty good match as the mid game fighting and the push on the third felt so close and "if they stablize with carriers Motive feels ahead"
dude that scream... i thought for a moment that artosis was playing lol

on the other hand, if he hadnt been pumping out gateway units he probably would have lost that nexus. its a tough call
In this type of situation wouldn’t it be better to kill the pylon (300/300) instead of the gateway (500/500)?
That NDO game was scrappy, I loved it.
red reaver red reaver we call
Solid game!

This is the kind of scrappy battleing game I like to see. Terran fought for every inch after getting past his bridge for free lmao
11:48 Haha I'm getting “They are destroying our city!!“ vibes. Orcs.
Scan is a top player for sure
Scan is the perfect human
Great game
Scraptastic!
Red Reaver Red Reaver, Angry like Beaver
Scan, Scan
he's the man
if he can't do it
Motive can
Go scannnnnn❤
Had a guts feeling that motive’s confidence is destroyed 😮
Holy shit what a game
Making a scout would win the game
So great games
Welp, looks like it's going to game 7 guys. Troy is a free win for Protoss.
this casting made me Scan biased even though I'm a Protoss player
God that was so funny when the zealot came out.
The leftmost scv on the thumbnail is to blame!
2:45 haha
tatatatatatatata
“say gg” moment in the end
Trying to beat tanks+vulture with pure dragoons was... weird.
Suuuuure you're not biased
Luke i'm your father! 2:45
holy shit, he almost stole winter's line!
Next game is troy so we go to the finals in blitz y in the second part of the next video hahaahah
"Noooo... sorry I'm not biased here"
a whoopin
ggs
artosis, again i ask u ... how is it called GG when no GG text is been shown???
Holy shit
So let me get this straight - proxy gate, gets scouted, fails, gas steal, fails, run-by, fails, tries to bust, fails, loses probes, loses literally all his units to a push like 5 times, doesn't mine from his 3rd for more than 2 minutes, gets 15 probes lower than Terran, and JUST BBBBBBBAAAAARELY loses. anti-spoiler!!!
Motive should've stayed on his side of the bridge and defended, instead he pushed out repeatedly and lost units with nothing to show for it
Pozdro z Polski !!
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO
Допротосечился😂
tatatatatatata
gg
cross his t's and dot his i's
O:
Zealot came out just because of stupid SCV ai bugging at gateway
Gg
AMAZING game from Scan!
But dude, I'm hating watching Troy approach. Pick some other map, ANY other map from the pool besides Troy.
WoW Motive game.
+_+

Comments
I can't root for Terran. It's just so broken the way Mech fights Goon zealot. At least in SC2 it's more balanced.
I hate terran
very fast games, it's almost like Motive is afraid to let Scan get into the macro game so he tries to force the decisive move early.
