Happy for this review! I like this and very familiar with Mugen. Love the overall design. I like the case back instructions better than on the bezel. Kudos Sam noticed the blank button which is super weird. I never buy neg displays which keeps me from owning, but I’m glad this piece exists.
I was glad to have reviewed this watch even though it wasn’t something I would typically buy! It’s off back to Casio now!
The blank button is so obvious, why give kudos for that?

I had no idea about Mugen. I really like all the little details. You're right that everything looks great except for the digital screen. Lume shot looked pretty good too.
A couple things to point out:
This was NOT the first watch to be branded with the Mugen name. They had a G-Shock model released in the 90s as the G-SHOCK DW8400. I happen to own this watch and I still have the original packaging.
At least for the US, only available through King Motorsports. On top of that it was only available via a raffle and only 199 examples were allocated for their store to sell. No way to just outright buy it. I had to place my name on a list weeks before it was officially offered and I had to be selected, which I fortunately did.
Mugen has been my favorite company for years. I have purchased many of their products including wheels, a steering wheel, full bucket seat, an exhaust system, shift knobs (the font is indeed the same), oil caps, apparel, key chains, aero parts, a wallet, and lots more.
The face of the watch was made from carbon fiber, hence it is so much lighter compared to metal. The packaging was indeed quite special, stylized like a twill weave carbon fiber. It's a nice watch I now wear on a daily basis!
Hey! First off thanks for adding all that extra information! I get sent a press release with the watches that talks over the watch. So maybe Casio America don’t even know about that first watch? So rare even they don’t know about it which is really cool! What do you think of this one?
Best Video ❤
Almost the same features on my ecb-900. But the looks are great!
Thank you for this review!
You know i have the edifice that you've shown on a bracelet. Besides the crystal im quite happy i got mine and not another version. It's design is better and more legible. The bracelet has folded links but it looks really good and balances the watch quite well. You forget you have it on the wrist.
Im not into these kind of limited/special editiin watches bc its so specific to this car company. I think it will sell the best where its known mainly japan..
I would like to see one of those in person. I enjoyed reviewing this one! How do you find the negative display?
@@CasualWatchReviews ive got mine set for seconds and day/date. Never had any issues reading it..
Look at the casio TOMS .
as a car guy i really wanted this up until i heard the dimensions lol way too big for my tiny wrists
I was actually very surprised about how well it fitted, buts its larger for sure. Very light however
I have a relatively small wrist. I wear this watch with the strap in the second smallest hole, but it fits just fine.

Not feeling this one. I don't get the Hondaness of it.
