So many dislikes, my gosh they saved the bird from dying. Any bird cannot fly if they are WET! Thanks to you two for saving this Eagle and helping him.
It would have been saved if it had been taken to a wildlife rehabilitator. It likely has a disease such as west nile virus or lead/mercury poisoning from fish. A vet could have figured out what the problem was and treated. All they did was dry it off, not save it. The fact that it looks fine from the outside, and flies fine, tells you next to nothing about its health.
The fish might have saved the eagle. It probably burned lots of calories trying to escape the cool water. I was actually surprised it would eat it given the crazy situation.

So many dislikes, my gosh they saved the bird from dying. Any bird cannot fly if they are WET!
Thanks to you two for saving this Eagle and helping him.
the dislikes could be because that woman couldn't stop yapping like a moron
The dislikes are because of the woman
Thank you for the kind words. He flew fine after he dried off.
@@anti0918 Yeah, unfortunately, that could be a possibilty, but at least it's not in the water anymore where it was almost helpless.
The fish might have saved the eagle. It probably burned lots of calories trying to escape the cool water. I was actually surprised it would eat it given the crazy situation.
Best thing you could do for a wild animal after you save it and it dosnt need anything else besides time give him food and let him chill most animals are pretty chill to get food

just so you know, this is a Juvenile Golden Eagle or a Juvenile bald eagle (sometimes it is hard to tell the difference, especially in the video where the eagle is wet) . Many don't survive their first year as they can't find food and have trouble taking care of themselves. Its great you rescued this one.
Eagles are pretty brave and smart. He was comfortable with humans so quickly it was amazing. Nice rescue
Pretty brave as in "sort of brave" or pretty, brave and smart? Not trolling. Just need clarification in order to move on with my day. Thank you.
Eagles are very intelligent. Once he realized they were trying to help, he accepted them. Neat video.
I’m pretty sure Eagles can swim so does it really count as a rescue
Rephical Gaming how is it supposed to swim through all of those tangled plants lmao
Rephical Gaming, Eagles are not really swimmers, and do not swim at all if it can be avoided. When their wings get wet like this, they will absolutely not be able to take flight at any point at all. This eagle was guaranteed to die had it not been rescued by this couple. Great job to them! Also, this is clearly a baby, maybe 3 months old, 4 tops I'm guessing. Without question they saved this beauty's life.
