    Your videos helped me to choose the Minilogue as my first ever synthesizer. Positive reviews everywhere, great videos nice price. I'm looking forward to play with it in a few days and use it with my reverb pedal as well. I think i won't regret for this choice!
    Congratulations for your videos BoBeats!

    Woah! I didn't realise the ML had hold function on the arpeggiator. I might've just ignored the instructions but am convinced I watched a UA-cam vid where they said it didn't exist. This has shown me it does! Only recently bought so poss firmware update over the last few years?

    • @nelsonious999

      I too was surprised to see the arp hold. I need to get that going myself

      @@nelsonious999 to be honest I've not actually used it since and just use my Beatstep Pro to do any arps on the Minilogue

    The Mininova is in my opinion the best value for your money...it never stops..you can always do new things with the mininova...I place it over my cs1x and my moog one.

    I just bought a Minilogue and this video is really helpful, do you have any videos on it’s Sequencer because i’m getting stuck trying to work it out 😆i was almost going to give up and swap it for a different synth maybe a Roland System 1 but now i’m inspired again. Thanks.

    Are there any other synths, analog or digital, that are especially good at sound design and synthesis that you could recommend?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  7 років тому

      I think the Novation Ultranova is a very affordable synthesizer. If you want something analog I would look at the Mother 32 from Moog. I just uploaded a video on it and I think its very hands on. But basically any synth will let you do good sound design depending on what you are looking for =)

    Hi, great video man. Saw it on the Minilogue page. JB here. A question... at 15.16 you hit the keys in arp mode and it sustains after taking hands off. How is this ? When I try it, as soon as I release the keys the sound stops. Am I missing something ?

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  8 років тому

      Hello! Thanks man! In the latest update to the Minilogue you can latch the arpeggiator. You simply press down the ARP button until the screen says LATCH ON. Then you can play a note and the arp will play until you A) hit another note or B) turn of latch by pressing ARP button again.

    • @johnb365
      @johnb365 8 років тому +1

      Thanks, I've been a bit hesitant to update after reading about some problems. Maybe I should update, as Latch will be a great feature.

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  8 років тому

      Yeah I have heard about some issues as well. Not having any problems on my end what I can hear.

      Hi Bo, successfully updated ML, no probs. I now have 'latch' function. Finding it most useful. Lovin the Minilogue, I have the MS20 mini too, but I've been neglecting it a bit since getting a ML, I use a basic set up with M-Audio keys through Ableton. Guitar comes into play sometimes. Have fun man. ps.. I recon you're a natural teacher, nice clear style, not everyone can teach.

    • @BoBeats

      Glad to hear it is working out for you John! Thank you for your kind words. I am actually a University teacher in educational science, so I guess I got a little experience. More videos in the ML is coming =)
