Thanks for another great video. Your knowledge and skill coupled with the unique capabilities of the Opsix always provide educational and enjoyable content! Those were some really cool patches.
Love the classic pad... your strings sounded quite Tim Heckerish to me.. kind of veiled and distanced by dust.. 👍 Pickup an OpSix along the coast by train tomorrow.. Shall have to return to this vid to see if I can follow you towards creating something approaching your classic pad.. Cheers the vids.. been watching them all.. Great stuff!
Cheers from across the pond! I LOVE your OpSix videos! Speaking of “local” brands, I’ve found that the extra-affordable Tone City Lil’ Heat pedal from Andertons works REALLY well with synths!
Congrats on making it. I often find making an entire patch on the Opsix to be hard mode. I like to make it in the native app, and dial it in on the synth. I just wish the integration between native and synth were better.
Hey sync, a bit of a side question: can you recommend some modern artists (like albums in last 10-15 years) which you consider really good at FM synthesis? The only one I know is Keiss' Urban Utopia album on Touched Revolutions which uses Digitone (I guess? At least Digitone is on the album cover).
Hi. I find great inspiration here, I made some patches already and the opsix is capable of so many good sounding things. But what really annoys me: mine came shipped with firmware 1.01. I installed all drivers and library manager etc. but it's impossible for the Windows PC to recognize opsix and so is impossible to upgrade to version 2.01. Korg did a horrible job here. 😢
Thanks. Have you followed the specific instructions about setting up the network driver if it doesn't work automatically - it's a few extra steps but once it's done, should work great.

Thank you! Enjoy your new opsix - it's one of my favourite synths ever.

Did you speedrun the Modwave? Thanks for the old one, and happy new year!
I haven't, and I don't think I'll get a chance now as it was on loan from Korg and is heading back shortly, sadly.
