I have a 2017. RK head insert with Keihin carb. That bike definetely made me a better rider. I still have it, but currently riding a Beta 250 Race. Might dust the old 150 off soon after watching this👍👍
Thinking about getting a 150 2 stroke or a yz 250fx next. Mainly doing woods riding like this not many hill climbs and nothing super open. Which do you think would be better in this situation?
All comes down to the rider for sure but if your a lighter rider that te150 lugs so well compared to a normal 125, I have a 23 te150i coming for a yz250 with flywheel weight and other goodies I can lug or rip the te150 just the same but I’m only 140lbs rider so I don’t think either bike really cares about my weight, it’s just as fast as my buddies yz250fx
@@Smightification I fouled 4 plugs in 10 hours. Does your 150tpi stutter like this when revving? ua-cam.com/video/fZ8tPwX3Cck/v-deo.htmlsi=0zo9-hGy1dmINzXt
@@tacoooooo11111 yeah that's pretty crazy I haven't touched my plug in my 10 hours. Are you holding it wide open and it's stuttering? I normally don't hold it steady on or just before the pipe or it will pulsate a little. I normally ride wide open or below the pipe and lug it..
@@Smightification I hold it at around 80% open and just before it hits powerband it stutters just like in the video for a few seconds the goes into powerband. The dealer said all 2 strokes do it.

150, 2 strokes are just overall better for slower stuff and enduro

What is your warm up procedure for the te150i. I was told to let it idle for a few minutes but I think that will cause me to foul plugs.
It's fuel and oil injected it takes a bit to foul a plug lol just let it idle then once warm clean it out with some revs and rip it

Got a 2021 150 xcw. I let mine get hot at start up. (5 minutes). Do not touch the throttle during this time.
I missed it, how much you weigh?
About 200 lb with gear on
@@Smightification Same here. I dont have any hills to climb so im hoping this 150 would be great for single track and trails. Thx
