    Very cool. No clearly you do not need a 300. Actually I find a 250 to be perfect, but now I’m interested in trying a 150!

      so much fun , totally depends what terrain you are riding but the 150 is alot more capable than most think and 15kg lighter than a 300 !

      How much PS/KW does it have? I am familiar with 250s 2stroke Betas and 500EXC 4 strokes. How much power is it compared to them in Percent? Maybe 50%?
      I like the terrain you are driving. Did you desire some more power for this terrain? Hoe much do you weight?

    Highlight for me was the KTM rider, he must be awesome taking the hit for the team so you don’t have to show any clips of you falling 🤣

    Hell yeah! I’ve been wanting to get a 150 for a while!! It’s hard to tell how big these climbs are but would you say a 150 has enough grunt to get up any hill a 300 could?

      ive been riding 95% of the stuff we normally ride on 300s with the 150 , depends on your skill but i can be done or tho it sometimes takes alot of effort as you need to do the work and not let the bike do the work like on a 300 . the hill at 1:52 is nasty and dont think you can get much steeper than that

    my xcw150 tbi has all that low end grunt youre looking for but i have no where near the top end overev of the te or xc

      to be honest this has all the low end you would expect out of a 150 . im sure it will be on par with the tbi . it is amazing what this thing can do , i have not found a spot yet that i havnt managed to ride it gets everywhere the 300 does

    I know this video is a couple years old but how heavy a rider is too heavy for that 150?

      im 80 kg and its fine , say upto over 100 kg you will have issues

    Was gunna buy a Beta 200 but everyone kept telling me i was too fat :). Ended up with a 250rr but still wouldn`t mind a decent ride on the 200 to see if i`m missing anything. 250`s amazing bike though.

      A ktm 200 has alot more torque than the ktm husky 150 , I have ridden both the 250 and 200 betas the 200 is more playfull depends what you are riding and your skill level , if you are into more flowing stuff then the 200 will be more fun in the tighter nastier stuff the 250 will have the torque you may crave , try to have a decent ride on one small bore bikes are awesome

    Most people don’t know that Kyle Brotherson (from dirt bike channel) is your father, I would love to see a crossover and video of a ride together. It looks like you could benefit from some pointers too!

    Pros vs cons with the 300 exc.

    • @enduronorthnz6437
      @enduronorthnz6437  2 роки тому +2

      Exc is gone got replaced with a new 300 and the 150 , have heaps of backed up footage i need to post , only thing you miss on the 150 is that low down grunt but you gain 15kg in weight savings !
