The loose steering is working much much better. However the steering wheel is a bit off center and also has some play with the steering column adjustment. This build feels like it’s never done 😁
You way over adjusted that box, wheel should return to straight after letting go of wheel. Please do not do as he instructed he obviously is not a mechanic.
Yup you’re right. I’m not a mechanic and never claimed to be. I did little adjustments at a time and it’s not over tightened. You can tell when it’s too tight after a test drive. Always test before you take it on the street. AND DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
@@Itsallaboutthebuild You way over tightened it. The wheel should return to center on it's own. What you did is going to cause premature unnecessary wear on the steering box also.

Thank you! Saved me a bunch!
Awesome, glad to hear 👍👍👍
This should be a video of what NOT to do to fix this issue. And you don't even have a steering rack, it's a steering gearbox. Lol
Got it, hope everyone else reads the comments and posts questions, thanks for all the help 👍
It's a box. Steering box. Rack is completely different.
👍
If your box wasn't loose before you torqued your worm gear, it will be worse soon.
@@imken2392 thx!!!
