these people are rough on a guy. ask anyone whos ever welded to rotted out sheet metal. hell, any sheet meta at all l with a flux core. i know it's not the right tool for the job but i'm not buying a bottle, mig and everything that goes with it to patch up my old truck. that stuff is rough to weld. i'm not a welder either. it looks way better than mine. grind fixes it all though. screw'em

For a water stone basin (basically all contaminants are particulates bigger than 1μm) i would use a little aquarium pump and gravity to slowly circulate the water around and through a filter. Was nice when i was keeping the water heated and didn't want to swap it out often.

Just use dasty and other soaps. Easy cheaper, dasty has worked better in most of my cases and it doesn’t eat away your parts if you let it sit

Agreed hit the hard to reach spots first. You should use lower voltage any time you are trying to get into corners and divots because the charge can actually cause those areas to repel paint. You should start releasing paint while not pointed directly at the part then sweep over the part and try to coat it evenly. Generally no reason to remove the plugs before baking. Make sure there is absolutely no oil or moisture remaining on the part or it will come out during baking and ruin part of the finish. Good video overall.

Removing that powder coat is difficult. Nearly permanent unless you have an industrial sand blaster

Paint is just as good you just gotta wait for the chemicals to cure and harden taks about 2 months only difference with powder coat is it doesnt need the liquid chemicals and is melted on its the same exact paint same orange peel and everything just doesnt need to cure to harden. Its instantly hard and set. People think its completely different material magic extra hard better adhered tougher paint. Simply not true its the same paint just without the liquid hardener im a iron worker 15 years also had a powder coat shop tell me this they got a 80 foot oven
