My buddy had a low mile white with a white softtop and a plush red velour type interior late 1980's Pontiac Grand Prix G-Body I absolutely fell in love with. Like I wish I could of seen a row of these on the car lots with different options back in the day! Mmm! You have the king of the g-body class for sure! I'm a 70's 80's 90s Caddy Brougham Fleetwood and same for the Caprices. Although the 60s Caprices and big GM cars are my favorites for something I'd slay with as a daily just like I want to with one of these! Rock on 🤘👌😎🔥💪🙌🏁
I have front coilovers for my 79 Cutlass I've been waiting to install because we're putting quarters and a bunch of body work. Can't wait to get it all done because I'm definitely going to want more goodies for under the car!
Nice! You will definitely be happy with the improved handling the coil-overs will provide. Please reach out if you have any questions or need recommendations! 952-985-5675
I love QA1. They sell amazing products. My front and rear control arms are all QA1. My sway bars are from UMI. I will be purchasing QA1 frame brace next.
I'm wanting to upgrade the suspension and disks/brakes on my 83 cutlass Supreme. Thinking about putting a 2000 blazer set up, but wanting to add some better control arms and suspension for when I do upgrade to a 6.0 engine...what do you recommend, would like to order a kit. Need help with part numbers for a 83 cutlass Supreme 🙏
I have access to my Dad's really nice gunmetal t-type regal, It came wit a 307 that we'd like to swap out Its a a great car for roadtrips and I'd like to swap in a reliable v8 that I can make good power without blowers 350-450hp but gets decent mpg for say 200-400 mile trips on a bout a $5k budget...maybe $10k on the high side I'd like to keep the stock thm200 trans, not opposed to having it built a bit and stock wheels and tire sizes any suggestions?
@@jasonlavelle8488 well 30K is a lot of money for one of these i wouldnt say its worth it the most id ever pay is like 10K tops maybe 15K if it was mint these cars are not worth 30K in my eyes and just to build it after spending 30K i mean hey if you got that kinda money to blow i guess
El Camino is a B-Body as is the sedans and wagons. That said; theoretically the difference between G & B is solely the length of the frame, and not much else, these G-body components should bolt on to a B-body. I assume they would much like most of the front clips should swap.
@@sonnycarson86 I was speaking specifically on the 80s as per the point of the video topic. It's basically a Malibu wagon, it's longer than a gbody. Yeah the 67-77 are Abodies, seeing as they are either Malibu(again) or Chevelle based and even use the wagon floorpan with bolt holes for backseat... since this is pertinent to B/G body conversation.

I just bought my great grandmas 1981 monte carlo as my first car, never thought my first car would be my dream car.
That's awesome!
Bro you explained this perfectly!
Just bought a 78 regal limited with the 305 I’m absolutely loving it first upgrade is a full sound system but this is 2nd

What spring rate did you go with in the front?
Someone tell him the GN is a V6.
With TURBO
Wish i could afford the coil over shocks adjustment for my 83 montecarlo ss
This helped
Glad to hear it!
Can't wait to upgrade the suspension on my regal. The parts are so expensive though lol 😞😫

Our components will work on the factory Cutlass frame, but not the 2000 Blazer. For the Cutlass, check out PN HK22-GMG1

unfortunately even the price of these cars are slowly going through the roof! I'm glad I paid 5K for my 87 SS back in late 2019
I just paid 30k 100% stock matching numbers ect. Worth the money cause I had one back in the day. Now I'm going to build it

400 lb. springs
@qa1 which part number for the shocks did you use on your Grand National in this video?
Front PN: GD401-10400C. Rear PN: RCK52356
