And I'll NEVER forget where I was when I heard the news about Brad come over my car radio! It still weighs heavy in my heart. Real bad. Honestly hard to believe it's been that long ago. Never got to see them in person. But "Don't Look Back" was one of my first 2 simultaneous LP purchases. (The other was ELO's "Out of the Blue"). Still even remember what song on my album ("It's Easy") had a small scratch that would cause a "repeat" near the beginning of the solo. (I guess I kind of wore it out?! HaHa) Got used to it after a while. Just needed a gentle "bump" to continue. Still hear that "phantom" scratch every time the song is played elsewhere. That memory really makes me smile. Long live the '70s!

Saw what I believe was the second show of this tour. They were one of my favorite bands growing up but they hadn't played live in about 8 years so I was fired up to finally see them. It was at the Texas Jam at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in June 1987. Lineup included Farenheit, Poison (not a big fan), Whitesnake, Aerosmith and Boston closing out the show. Paul Stanley even came out and jammed with Poison for a couple songs. Hot as hell that day but one of the best of my life. Boston didn't come out for about two hours after Aerosmith - they were waiting for darkness so they could do their light show. Brutal wait but worth every minute. They were awesome. Saw them again several months later on this tour in Baton Rouge - I was an LSU student at the time. Another great show. This is my favorite Boston song and unfortunately they didn't play it at either show so it's great to see it live here all these years later. Thanks for posting.
