I am a cad jewelry designer, I am working for over 6 years. I am not on fiver. I work with jewellers directly. I would make that type of jewelry in even in $15 😅 for forign.
I'm from india if i design this same pice for indian customer i would charge like $10😅 cause prices are really low here.
Flat designs like this are really easy to make. Mostly i design complex jewelry in zbrush and Rhino.

i dont have a diamond/jewelry district near me, so when i go online like you say to look for loose diamonds i can find verified selling that been selling for 2-5 year but with 0 reviews. is that normal?

Hi. I'm surprised you're able to get jewelry casted for that "cheap".
When I approached a caster, they charged me a flat $120 flask fee (spruing, casting, clipping), plus metal cost, plus $35 an hour for finishing/polishing.
They said the flask fee covers their time to build the tree, the investment to fill the flask, the hydro to burnout the flask, and heat the metal, pressure washing, pickling, rotary tumble or sandblasting, and cutting all of the pieces off the tree.
This wasn't touched on in your videos. Am I being scammed?

@@10kVVS Basic rhetoric. Be firm & very specific on what you want/ need. Make sure to have a CAD file on hand. Try to speak to the point of contact over the phone too. Will save you time from a bunch of back & forth texting.

Slava I’m struggling with the pricing of diamonds. I am so lost in regards to knowing what I should be paying for wholesale diamonds and what I should retail them for. Gold is simple there’s a set market value price that you can monitor whenever, it is quite the contrary for diamonds. Does anyone have any insight or suggestions on how to grasp this, or ways I can monitor wholesale and retail prices?
like for example if I make a gold pendant that let’s say would sell for $400 without diamonds. now If I set just over half a carrot (0.70 ) of VS2 D-E-F natural diamonds into this pedant, how much did the retail value increase by? furthermore how much should I have paid for 0.70 of VS2 DEF natural diamonds? there is so many variables my head is honestly SPUN over this.

I've heard often jewellers use 9, 14 or 18k gold but give it a 22 or 24k gold finish. Could you explain that if possible?
People plate there jewellery in a higher kt because they like that richer color or more gold content.. just like white gold. White gold is a plating they put over yellow.. just for looks
@@QTheMost Yeah I understand it's for the richer look but it's the process that I'm trying to figure out. Would it be done through electroplating so would I first make a 14k cuban bracelet for example, once it's done and gone through the cleaning etc... would I then take it for electroplating?
@@hakshustletv yes once it's the way you want it to look, polished and such go get it electroplated. I'd do it before stone setting.. but it will eventually fade off forsure if it's a ring.. it'll also be more prone to scratches.. then if you polish it you may just take that finish right off and reveal the kt under it...

👍👍 as always. But could you do a cost break down, I got 200+ for the printer. 100+ for resin plus 20 for fivver. Plus 3×23 69 plus cost of metal soo... that piece was almost 1200 total?

It's worth it if you do multiple pieces to buy the printer if not you might be better off just paying for the wax print
If your just doing 1 piece or a simple piece you could literally just buy a chunk of wax and carve it out your self.. also could just go the moissanite route.. if your going to make several things just buy a second hand resin printer. You could probably get one for $100..
