    I bought a used, older generation cricut for $100 a few years ago. I wanted to make paper flowers for decorations for my house. I made tons of crafts for me and my kids the first year. Now I make $300-$500/week just making shirts for people I work with at my local hospital (I'm also a nurse) but it's so easy and once you have a good client pool, they keep coming back! I used to worry people would stop buying shirts after they purchased one, but I kept making simple, seasonal designs and business is booming 🤯.

    For images I recommend getting Iron on Transfer paper. It’s easy to use you just need a normal printer and insert the transfer paper instead of the normal one and print your design. And you can iron the image on to the shirt or heat press it

    When your making anything for sale and making profit off of it, you need to follow the laws that guide as it can be extremely costly to violate the laws by selling another designer/artist/etc product or design.

You would have to get creative in the way you make the listing. Etsy is not as strict. If you don't use Steph's full name, warriors logos, and curry pics but get creative kind of like the examples in the vids you will be fine

I’m getting ready to buy all of my materials and start my business but one thing I’m having trouble figuring out is how to put designer logos or patterns on a shirt such as LV. Please keep in mind its not that as it seems, there are plenty of tshirt makers in the market right now , for example if there is one requirement there are 100 sellers for the same, the situation is whoever picks the order he breaks the standard offer price and spoils others business, I do'nt want to demotivate you people ,take your time and get some extra funds and avoid being I'm just getting started, I will earn and reinvest, that's not going to work, this business requires availability of different stocks like tees, vinyl, screen inks and related stuff, DTF sheets and inks , in limited capital its not going to work , try to get job works as much as you can that is going to fill pockets easily rather making your own tees, once you are stacked up with enough cash in hand then pull the trigger, invest in commercial starter level machines rather than cricut/cameo, that will make you PS/corel draw ready when you will expand, best of luck

      If you are buying the rolls, figure out how many shirts you can make from that roll then figure out your pricing. In my experience, a roll can do 15-18 shirts of our large image shirts. You don't factor in the entire price of one roll into the cost of one shirt since you can get multiple shirts from one roll. Hope that makes sense....

    • @DoDgeSwaG
      @DoDgeSwaG 3 роки тому +1

      That’s why there’s a lot of math involved in business..be organized, learn to crunch the numbers in an excel spreadsheet with every item u make so u can breakdown how much raw material it cost to make that one shirt minus your sale price=net profit per shirt. You’ll never come out on top trying to do it all in your head. If you want it to be a profitable business you gotta treat it like one and keep track of your financial numbers

      Doing it for "love of the game"... what are U talking about?!??😆😝😂😂😂...Pretty sure the reason sum1 is doing this is because the profit margins are extremely good..each t-shirt roughly costing $3-$4 max and then selling for $19.99-$29.99 that's an amazing profit margin without any doubt about it! And as for being labour intensive,I take it ur taking the fukin piss cause that's not labour intensive at all,yes u have to so a bit of work to complete each t-shirt but nothing comes free in this world,u have to work for it but to make anywhere frm $16-26 per t-shirt is a profit margin that ill rarely see in any other business or industry the only problem would be making sure u sell enough t-shirts and become consistent with it by regularly changing ur t-shirt designs and keep the customers coming back a few times every year with them hopefully bringing more new customers with recommendations! But this defo could become a very profitable business if just have to keep the designs fresh,inventive and innovative with lots of options and different colours+designs!👍💪👊💯

    You can make good money with very simple equipment. I started screen printing twenty years ago with the bare minimal.
    Through the years I had build it to three automatic screen printing presses for textile. Two 10 colour and one eight colour machine.
    I sold the lot just a few years ago.
    But if I would do it again I ask myself, would I buy cheaper machinery? The investments have been massive. There are cheaper options out there.
    Focus on the marge of the sales and less on the printing itself. Better faster is not always the way to money. People just want a simple shirt.
