I bought the Smallrig cage for my M50 a few months ago and was always fiddling with the Tripod plates spending extra time trying to get the screw to thread right and find a good position the gave me access to the battery if I needed it. Maybe I should have read the manual, but when you mentioned that the cage fits Arca-Swiss tripod heads, my head nearly exploded at this revelation. I tried it out after watching the video and it makes set up/breakdown so much simpler/faster. I wasn't going to watch this video, because I'm not super interested in the RP, but I'm glad that I did.
I'm not really into the Rp, but just watching your recommendations on these accessories are great and I've learned a lot from your videos, keep creating awesome content 😄
Hey Mark I definitely would love a video of the different uses of this great tripod I bought upon your recommendation. The manual is not as detailed as you would like to
I'm RP user, however you will never shoot videos with RP, categories of accessories are good tho. My current settings are screen protector, extension grip, hand straps, lens hood, ND filter, backpack mount and two lens pouch for interchage. Super convenient shooting while I travel around the world.
“The most affordable full frame camera”. Might need some disclaimers in that one. I just picked up an original Canon 5d for under $200. But I jest*, I know you meant modern. (edited spelling, autocorrect) Another great video Mark, I look forward to every new video that comes out because I always learn something, even if I don’t have the exact camera you’re talking about.
What was that first small tripod you showed? I’m looking for one that stays low to the ground to get shots of reptiles (one that also mounts to the cage) thanks !
Pro-tip: to adapt vintage lenses, buy the EF-RF adaptor but instead of getting an M42-RF adaptor or anything similar to adapt to RF directly, get them as EF adaptors to use with the EF-RF one. Much cheaper and less bulky that one.
Yes, the one I recommend is anti-finger print, dirt, dust etc, very easy to clean. I have had filters that are dust and dirt magnets, and hard to clean, like the budget Hoya filters.
Entertaining video love the marriage guidance comment lol
Haha… It just came out! I had no plan to say that.

Thanks for the heads up and suggestion.
The cage cannot be used with the EG-E1 extension.
What's the best wide angle full frame lens for a video like this one your shooting?

Totally fair point! Thanks.
Well compiled list, thank you! I just bought my body, and I’m excited to check it out and get the necessary accessories.

But will it get infinity focus?
@@Zejakov My lenses do so although I can't garantee it, I'd say yes from experience
@@lsamoa i will try it i guess
Great Video but I can’t find the links for the two vintage Lenses.
Review the VideoMicro II please!
Yes, it's on my list!
i really love your videos, thanks
The problem with UV filters, especially if its the cheap ones and they are not perfectly clean, its like shooting through a window

The screen articulates. You fold it away, so why the screen protector?😊
I tend to use the screen. If you only use the EVF, then the risk is much lower.
Thank you so much 15:16
1:07 Hi, Can I ask which lens was used in this time? 🤔
TTArtisan 17mm F1.4 APS-C link in the description.
