    It's important to keep in mind that the RF 15-35mm lens is f/2.8 and not f/4, which means there's a lot more glass in there, which drives up the cost of the lens.
    I am using the 16-35 f/4 just like yours on my EOS RP, but there actually isn't really an equivalent RF lens out there yet since all of the RF L lenses are F/2.8 or faster for now except for the 24-105.
    Edit: I also got an L-bracket instead of a full cage because I wanted to maintain a bit of the lightness and compactness of the camera. I use it primarily for still photography so I got one with an Arca-Swiss tripod mount built in so that I don't have to use a tripod plate on the camera at all. And yeah, I bought 4 extra knockoff batteries for mine too. 😂

    Cinestyle just makes it have more noise man, it brightens ip the shadows, I would much rather just use the neutral profile from the camera

      most log profiles do the exact same thing by upping the ISO of the camera to ISO 400 and some even up to ISO 800. Modern cameras have no issues with those ISO levels. And I use the Cinestyle profile on everyone of my canon Cameras (M50, RP, R, and R6) with great results.

    If you want to use EF lenses then why not continue using DSLR? Just get 6D II instead of RP.

    • @gregtoope
      @gregtoope  4 роки тому +2

      easy answer. the RP allows for both RF and EF lenses. So if you have existing EF lenses then you can use them. If you find a good deal on EF lenses you can get them. If you want to move forward and buy RF lenses you can. Buying into a DSLR now has no access to the RF system, which is where Canon is investing all their lens resources.. Having a camera that can use both formats is much better
