Ik in the let’s play the smith hammer was the ish but when I tried it at 80 strength it wasn’t all that great. Heck the shield did more damage and come out way quicker uncharged

It would have made sense that it did as the Margit shackle broke the spring blocks. So if one shackle worked in the dlc then why not the other.
It would definitely make sense both mechanically and thematically but fromsoft doesn't think that far ahead anymore they've gotten lazy.
