Just retired. Trying to learn how to crappie fish. Mainly bass and bream fishing most of my life. Thanking you for showing me how to go about trying to fish for crappie. Bobby in Arkansas.
These are my favorite videos you put out. The informative videos where I can pick up little tips and tricks to use in my everyday fishing. And you still have fun doing what you’re doing!!
Man I have told countless people when they ask me how I catch limits in middle of summer , middle of the day no wind or wind all the factors that everybody says crappie are deep and hard to catch . And I tell them I’m fishing 20ft less a lot of time in summer and they can’t believe it . And most want believe lol . So I smile and wave and keep catching .
My friend and his son caught several crappie close in shore as the sun was getting ready to set about 730 pm during the summer. I caught a few bass fishing with them they caught like 8 crappie 😊
I really enjoy catching Crappie and I really like this video! I'm 70 years old and have fished all my life and you are teaching me things I never knew! I am a little surprised you use such large hooks but you sure are catching those Crappie on them! Are the minnows alive or are they dead, I was trying to see how you hook them up! they look like big minnows too, I'm from southern Michigan and we generally use fairly small minnows! I hook mine through the lips, so I don't cast them off! I notice you aren't losing your minnows, maybe because of how you are hooking them on! I am looking forward to watching your videos young man, tyvm very informative and just great videos all around!
First time subscriber to any UA-cam channel. Recently had retina surgery and I’m having to do the whole face down thing while I recover. I found your videos and they have really helped me to pass the time, but I have learned a lot. Huge thank you! Can’t wait to be able to get back on the water and put some of the items I’ve stored away in my tactical tool box to work.
You said you can't wait until time for creek crappie. My wife and I come down to Texas in early February for two months from Wisconsin to camp and catch crappie. Your tips are appreciated!
Thank you for a motivational video. I also live in Texas and yes it's been brutal. I live 30 miles south of Ft Worth in the town of Granbury. I fish Lake Granbury for stripers but I want to learn to catch crappie. I think they are the best tasting fish in Texas. Again thanks for your awesome videos. Now I'm excited to get out there.
I enjoyed this video enough to subscribe. I quit fishing and sold everything about 20yrs ago.The last month fishing is all I think about, this just makes me want to fish more. But man everything has gotten so expensive.

That’s so cool you put all the fish on your tailgate every time. Keep doing what your doing and I wish I lived where there a lot of fresh water fishing . I would be doing what you do. Some day I will and I will be ready because of you .
Another great vid as always, thanks for dispelling the myth that crappie go way deeper in the summer! And yes, minnows get the job done SO much better that jigs this time of year for sure. Keep up the great work, you are appreciated!
