Hey buddy, it is so refreshing to see how much you love the Lord and yet have that crazy other side of you come out, you always put a laugh in my heart. It's wonderful to know I have a brother from another mother that I get to meet one day who is not tied down by life. Love your fishing tips. Blessings.

I used the bobber and tiny, tiny jig (panfish magnet) set up on my UL and went from catching no fish this winter to 5 crappie in 15 minutes! Thanks Richard! WOOOO

    Nice video again, Mr. Gene.
Only thing better than fishing under a bobber is taking kids or grandkids fishing, and the bobber go down.
For a grown up, right conditions, fishing with top water. I've seen grown men nearly jump out of a boat when they get a top water hit.
Brother, I'll tell you how much your videos mean to everyone watching. I want to thank you for all your tips and help you give everyone.
Good to see your still winning your battle on smoking.
Most of all, I want thank you for expressing your love of God. God bless you and your family, and have a blessed day, my friend.

Love your content. I used to do a lot of crappie fishing during my childhood with my friends and their Fathers who would take me along. Loved every minute fishing with them, never wanted it to end. That was a long time ago. Watching this makes me want to go fishing again.

Love your content!! I look forward to each video. I would like to comment on the size 8 hook. I have found that many times, the crappie will swallow it when they are aggressively feeding. As a result, you may have to keep some fish you didn’t intend to keep or they will die when released. Just my two cents.

Not trying to hound or bother you but if at all possible it could happen it would mean the world to my sons.

Great video as always Mr Gene. Could you do a video of the best floats to use for different applications? I usually use a plastic Mr crappie float but it just makes a loud splash on the cast, which I’m sure scares the fish reducing my chances of catching them. I really would appreciate the video.

I have my light weight spinning reels filled with new 4 pound. Hi viz. Line. Do you think it will affect my catch rate or should I refill with 2 pounds? I guess I could use 2 pound fluorocarbon leader.
I have watched every one of your videos and I’m jealous of your relaxed lifestyle and attitude. Praise God. BTW for 43 years until my mother-in-law died. I visited Cullman and fished Guntersville lake and played golf at the state park course every time. Keep up the good work. Now 76 😮

I had to float the waters I'd bobber fish with a 6 man inflatable raft. You have a boat so your water is bigger. I always had 12 pound line cause the trout were bigger. I always used a #6 Eagle Claw for hoppers and crawlers. Of course, I was huntin brown trout, rainbows, and brookies mostly.

I fish not too far from you at Pickwick mostly around Waterloo/Iuka where its big and open. Love to see your way of catching in rougher water....not unsafe. Put that jacket on tho.
