  • I thought it might be really helpful to look at the settings on most Airfryers (some are more basic and have just one or two settings which is perfectly fine for the job)
    So what is the difference between AIRFRY BAKE ROAST etc.......
    Watch to find out.
    Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching....

    Neither of my two INSTANT air fryer's has a variable speed fan it's just one speed for every function and I read somewhere that if that's the case it doesn't matter whether you pick air fry bake or roast the only difference is that the air fry function lets you know when to turn the food and the others don't and like you say they are only presets,my first two air fryers were Actifry with the paddle and were quite limited in what you could do in them and that was more than 10 years ago but nowadays you can cook almost anything in them and thanks to people like yourself Kerry we are all turning into air fryer chefs with all you great recipe tutorials,another enjoyable and informative video Xx

      Night night Kerry,I've just arrived home from singing on the karaoke,as i live in the Costa Blanca Spain. We don't go out until most people are going home. So we stay out late. My Daughter has dehydrated so many joints of beef,and they always come out succulent and tender.Plus it hardly uses any electric. It needs to be a beef roasting joint though. My friend dehydrated lots of coriander the other day,as her Husband makes lots of curries.That also came out very well.Ive just bought silicone liners for my Ninja😃😀😄My Daughter says they are brilliant. Good old Adi has come up trumps again. Please put your big girl pants on and try cooking beef in the Ninja. When the beef's cooked my Daughter wraps it in foil,and then covers it with a tea towel for at least an hour so the meat has the chance to relax.Love. your channel. Thank you for sharing with us. Lots of love Marilyn xxxxxxxx 💃🏼🥳🎉😘💞💕💜

    Hi Kerry, airfryers really came out were circular with a paddle and you couldn't adjust the temp, but I suppose bake, fry, roast is the manufactured interpretation of cooking foods, it could be size of the cavity your cooking in, its trial and error cooking, learning curve, I think when your food keep a cooking diary specific your cooking needs, cause every make of airfryer as a different method of cooking, i think everything that be cooked in an oven or on the hob can be cooked in a fryer, with a little trial and error, keeping a book with time of cooking and temps with your food trials, will speed up your preferred cooking desires, and understand how the airfryer that you have cooks your food.😮😊

    My cosori (not the dual blaze) has presets for fish, chips, chicken etc, but no roast, bake, air fry function buttons. I’ve tried the different presets and the fan speed seems the same for all so I just have to keep an eye on things. I haven’t used it yet to bake anything though

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  Місяць тому +1

      Hi👋😀💕I do cook a lot of things from frozen in the AF, I wouldn't do a whole chicken thou but I've often wrapped a frozen chicken breast with bacon and cooked from frozen, as long as its reached 75c or over b4 serving, it'll be fine. I've not cooked a pie from frozen but if I did, I'd cover the top with foil (weigh down with some all metal teaspoons to stop foil flying about) and cook say at 160c for 30mins then take off foil to brown for remaining 10 (timings depend on size of pie and you could up the temp to 180/190c for last 10 mins as well) hope that helps 😀👍
