He's coming, i can feel it in the water, i can hear it in the earth, i can smell it in the air
nah mate, you just shat urself
Mike Lindell? My pillow?😂
He's never doing a giants live again if that's what you're feeling. If anything it would the rogue invitational. Maybe the Shaw Classic but that's it.
@@Marcel16DM yep definitely not doing a Giants live event, still happy to see him back in his element, hopefully the future WSM events will be in the arnold sports festival
Thor has many forms. 2010-13 is Monster Baby Thor, then you have 2014-2017 Epic Thor, 2018 Legendary Thor, then 501kg bloat lord Thor, then we have Boxer Thor, finally we're going into 2023 as comeback Thor....and he's not even reached his final form yet.
I love watching athletes develop over the years.
And we still waiting for Full Thor
@@MollymaukT FullThor will rise when he inevitably decides to go all-in on breaking the deadlift record in competition and bloatmaxes into a 500-pound juggernaut on 17,000 calories a day XD
True bro it’s awesome as a fellow athlete I love watching myself change as well as others
Thank god he’s boxer form is over
Now you have injured Thor
The Strongest Man of All time!
Isn't featured here
12:17 heartwarming to see them embrace like that before the feud began.
Colin/Darren Obviously we’d all love to see Thor back competing at Giants Live, but even if he wasn’t interested I’d love to see a bit of peace being made between yourselves and himself, strongman is a very niche sport as you know and I think it’s too small to have any bitterness between any main parties.
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, The Strongest Man to have ever walked the Earth!
a great montage on the strongest man who ever walked this planet. boy oh boy he sure did mean it when he said "i'm the future of strength". cant wait for his return to strongman! i personally think he will be stronger than ever before!
"mantage"
The strongest man to walk the planet? This video isn't about Big Z???
@@Marcel16DM Z is the greatest, Thor is the Strongest. There's a difference. When you take static or brute strength alone, prime Thor is the strongest human ever.
Very true.
@@giovannicupello1977 he's not lifted the most weight in any category so how's he the strongest at anything
Hooper made the most valid point. Bjornsson is probably the best well-rounded athlete Strongman has ever seen. The agility he has for his size is pretty crazy. Especially when you see him competing against the other guys.
Giants Live can now show Thors 501? Perhaps they are on better terms again?
Actually it was filmed separately to the main recording and we have shown it before - with high praise for his achievement. Contrary to popular belief we are Hafthor fans and very proud of his involvement at Giants and ultimately WSM. Nor have we ever disputed the weight of his lift and therefore what he achieved. We won't lie to you and say we wouldn't have loved to have seen it at our Deadlift Champs Contest (because - of course we would have loved that to have happened) and for that matter we would have liked to have seen it at another big contest, but that was not an option to him at the time he was ready to do it. So that shouldn't detract anything from what he did, it's an extraordinary strength feat! Its phenomenal. Simple as that.
We need him back! Sad he ever left tbh.
You got your wish!
@@BuffPomsky he was to big for asgaard thor... so the gods send him back to midgaard to compete 🤣🤣🤣
The epitome of strongman the man is a freak of nature 😎👊🏼
I miss when Eddie and Thor got on... Good to see the sportsmanship in 2017.
This was a solid video. Thanks 🤙
That was so awesome with Eddie and Thor hugging and ripping each other's shirts off. It's a pity it couldn't have continued like that.
I’ve got a feeling that Europe’s might be his next thing.
Why? He got 4 of those already
If all the greatest strongman competitors from all eras competed at their absolute best form in a hypothetical show with 3 static events (Deadlift, squats & overhead) and 3 moving events, Thor's best version (2018-2020) beats all of the rest hands down. Which is why he's the greatest, most gifted strongman ever IMO. Of course, if you go by titles won or longevity and such, the argument changes.
L take
@@Blk9698 sounds like Thor hurt your feelings, little guy. Hang in there lol
Sorry for bad english.
If we use the normal pointsystem I dont think he would win.
Deadlift: He would be first or tied for first with Eddie
Squats: Eddie and Big Z + maybe a few others will beat him
Overhead: Big Z + Eddie would beat him
So in static strengh looking just at the points Eddie or Big Z would win.
But if you add other disciplines like truck pulling, atlas stones, carrying events usw. Thor would win for sure.
@@eliamnatterschnapf4711 Well yeah, he maybe wouldn't win on just static events but that's why they said "and 3 moving events". Basically a WSM with as many static events as could be expected.
Ngl, would love to see that show, whoever may or may not win.
@@eliamnatterschnapf4711 I'll give you squats, but don't think he'll be beaten on the deadlift (he's pulled more than anyone else in history, including Eddie) or overhead. Overall he'd win.
💪🏻 amazing video 💪🏻
Thank you 🙌
Wow he's good it's like amazing very good job
It's like wow amazing
501kg is not the heaviest 'out of competition deadlift', it's the heaviest conventional deadlift, period.
Nice😍😍
It's remarkable
Good to have friends like that
23:42 I couldn't agree more with Bobby. Thor didn't tear his biceps or hamstrings which are very common in strongman. He suffered no major injuries before his retirement.. That's the most gifted strength genetic I've ever known..
Icelandic viking power
9:25 Lol Eddie in the crowd, bottom left, looking on irritated.
You go Thro
We not gonna talk about 16:32 the fan acted like he was squeezing his butt 😂😂
weird that its the same channel that made the 2017 video
Well, not really, as we are first and foremost long-term fans of immense strength feats !!! Yes, this channel will document other aspects of strongman world. We. have done dozens of Behind-the-Scenes videos for example, and we also believe that on occasion, with our unprecedented access to the top professional strongman world, that we should be allowed to offer an view point that we feel will be educational for our viewers. So it cant always be just the nice aspects of sport if something has gone wrong. We did that video to highlight that there is sometimes good and the bad but that doesn't mean Hafthor as a person or an athlete in 99% of situations has been anything other than exemplary. As he has been to be fair. But on occasion, If we feel it's necessary then we can illuminate and spotlight certain areas to make sure what we feel needs said gets said. That doesn't mean we make a habit of being controversial. Not at all. But we all must speak out when we feel it's necessary in area of life. So you should n not take the WSM 2017 video out of the very context it was filmed in. This was - a small glimpse in to 2017's Grand Final and the tension around it and one of the conspiracies that followed on from it. That is we we must also offer a true reflection of how Hafthor was just about the most dominant athlete there has ever been at Giants Live (in particular). His record was extraordinary and speaks for itself. We have often touted Hafthor as the GOAT - or a good candidate for being a GOAT. That is based off his 2018 to 2019 period. He was ludicrously strong. Please dont think we have anything but the utmost respect for what Hafthor achieved. Plus out of competition - where he was a force of nature - he was and is often a very charming and genial man. Simple as that.
@@GiantsLiveSTRONGMAN I dont disagree that he was a cunt in 2017, my fav strongman in this era but I aint denying that. Just thought it was a weird circumstance
Everytime he competed in every Giants Live, most of the atheletes would just wanna go for the 2nd since they knew he would always won big times 🤣.
Too bad he left GL for quite a long time, but I can also understand that from his healthwise side
Did anyone else notice @16:05 Hafthor let’s the other guy catch up to make it a fair fight on the last stone?
Sure he was doing that wasn't he? Or he was taking a breather
@@yaboyj2191 no reason to over excert haha
fullthor
The real feat of strength worth noting involving this guy is his poor mother who survived birthing this man.
0:21 Anybody wanna watch
Wait till I get my 200lb dumbells in the mail...just wait...
Mailman is currently bulking to prepare for delivery.
0:21 WHAT IS THIS 😂😅
Its a shame he thinks Colin and Eddie had it against him. He seemed to get well with Colin and everyone that is a part of Giants live. Now he seems pretty adamant that he will not compete in Giants Live again.
What's baffling is that it was fine after that year but someone decides to bring it up, apparently Colin to offence and Thor wasn't happy but tbh I don't think it's fair the stick Colin gets because he and his small team at Giants put on great shows regularly and still no one gives him credit
@@petershortland478 I agree.
Colin actually extended the olive branch to Thor in his interview with Martins quite nicely IMO, The thing is now it's possible to be a professional strongman without Giants/WSM
Rogue, Arnolds, Shaw classic, Icelands, WUS admittedly disbanded but will be back renamed and have huge prizes
There is nothing anyone has against Hafhtor and he is the most succesful Giants Live athlete there has been. With 9 wins, he is the greatest Giants Live champion of all-time. What he achieved is immense and celebrating that is what this video is all about.
@@petershortland478 Thanks for your thoughts on how you can see we are doing our best. Its appreciated. We are all about growing the sport. It is best grown through positivity in our book. However, on the extremely odd occasion we feel it's necessary to make a statement to correct what we see as a misconception we can and we will. Ultimately all anyone can do is to try and do their best and be as fair as possible. So attempting to right a. wrong - and by god are the conspiracy theorists ever growing in there numbers, and that means on occasion we will say (show) what some people simply dont wish to hear (or in our case see). It's fine for them to say so and disagree was they wish. We speak (show events) from first hand what happens, We deal in video mainly so it's both difficult (if no one has recorded something) and easy (if they have) to show what happens at contests. On the flip side, it's only acceptable we get criticised for things people don't like or dont believe is correct. I must say your opinion is very balanced, and I guess what id liek to say is that in an ideal world we would only like to do enjoy the glorious strength filled videos with fans! Anything else is really just an ugly distraction to what we are all about. We want to make strongman bigger and better. But fans should cast their opinions and we do read, and take in, what people think. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
He should lift 501kg in a proper setting
Wich he did. He had every officials you could ask for and stricker rules than the previous world record was done with
Damn he could've pulled 505kg that day.
Шо вин вернется 🤘👍🏻🇺🇦🤔
I still think he should have gone for 505 at least.
He was at the time a basket ball player long and thin.
I can see why thor's behavior went downhill at 2017's after he was on podium for 7 years in a row and no win. Just half a point behind in 2014 too. Still no excuse.
He actually said Darren Sadler was six foot tall😂 yeah sure he is.
Thor is pretty cool guy and all, but what he did 2017 im not big fan of,,,
Don't have very nice
I am the future of strength!
Retires 3 years later.
He said that in 2014, retired 6 years later after achieving everything a strongman can
@@danielkelleher7246 well said
He's never won a wsm tho
He won 2018 WSM.
@@giovannicupello1977 my bad, lol yeah he did
Time to retired Eddie
Personally not a fan of halfface
you can not like him but making fun of bell's palsy isn't very nice. One of my good friends has it and it absolutely sucks. they don't tell you that sometimes it comes with a pain in your face that never goes away and is untreatable.
@@sagebauer1077 ok
You wouldn't say that to his 'halfface' would you lol
Unfunny.
