Forget just Strength, Hafthor is one of the greatest athletes of all time in any sport. When he retires he will earn the honours of being the greatest strength athlete of all time. This is a wonderful video.
It is no secret, Hafthor has always had the highest ceiling in strongman. Look at all the second places he got in WSM, little tweaks, here and there and he would be a record holder today. IMO this is the first time he is training smart instead of just relying on his overwhelmingly amazing genetics and base.

Samson was the strongest. Judges 16:3-And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

Sure he may have all these great strengths and trophies and medals but nothing compares to how great of a family man he is.... Much love and respect brother...
Cheers to the editor, wasn't expecting a little documentary, well done. IMO opinion support from family and friends makes incredible athletes and people, without it even the best won't get very far. Thor has both, the talent and motivations.
Respect to you Thor, great to see you back, and great to see you improve on the past mistakes, to become the best, most capable self you can be. Great inspirational role model!
His recovery workout changes makes me think of something Devon Larratt talking about, how his whole routine is perpetual rehab. Like as if he's recovering from some injury to reach an old normal, only it's like the "normal" he's always shooting for is actually a little stronger than he was before. That struck me as so clever and safe and practical sounding. Hope he recovers fully and has a good time.
Absolute savage, perfect body size too since most of people who are around 2m have either very long legs and average body or huge body and relatively shorter legs or long arms and long legs small body etc but this guy is just perfect

In my opinion, nobody to date has impressed me more than Big Z - but this man comes in close second. He has even proved himself stronger than Big Z in some events. But there is something more than strength about this man. He is the mountain in more ways than one and has re-lit the fire underneath the strongman brazier.
