Same omg I spent the rest of the video looking at how much time was left. I was trying to calculate if there was going to be another run. And as we closer, there definitely wasn’t time. So I was convinced it was an 11 win deck. Then the boss music for the final battle. I was convinced. What an epic edit and epic roller coaster. Can’t believe I watched this whole thing hahaha
Because there were STAKES! There was a storyline here. Not just a deck knowing it would win, it was spending 52 minutes 29 seconds wondering if it could. Amazing story telling 👌🏼
Never retire decks. If you don't want to play it, just queue up and concede 3 times. That will give wins to worse decks and make getting to 7 (or 12) wins easier for everyone. For every win in arena, another player needs to mark up a loss, so the more losses there are, the more people get to high numbers with average and bad decks. The only reason HS has the retire button is to make arena pay out less rewards to people. Don't fall for the scam. Never Retire a run.
@@evandermursh8410 bro it is that deep. Blizzard's always trying to get you to spend more money on their game, which is the reason I quit playing it years ago.
The retire deck function prevents Arena from being a zero-sum game. If everyone was forced to play out every single draft there would be fewer insanely strong decks. This would raise the skill ceiling of the game, attract more casual players and in turn make the Arena ecosystem much healthier.
even though the retire function was always there (i think?) arena didn't feel THIS crazy hard to get 12 wins like when hearthstone was MOST popular which makes no sense cause there were so many good arena streamers like amaz and kripp and trump etc yet now just cause people are doing this more and fewer people even play arena it's just fucked, it's like the aram accounts for league all over again (i didn't even remember i had 12 wins and i had to go check that's how easy and unmemorable it was to get 12 wins back then)
@@RawrGhosty Isn't arena also just much more RNG/powercrept at this point? Compared to when getting a flame strike in your draft or like druid Force + Roar was good. Getting a demon hunter draft where you just summon 12/12 in stats with rush 4+ times is kinda wild.

Ikr? I have 6700 Arena wins, 63% win rate (while picking Priest nearly every time I can btw), over 50 twelve win runs, but I've only ever done *one* 12-0.
I've had 0:2 decks go to 12 wins before several times. The best lategame decks often struggle vs the early aggro all-in decks that you play vs at low wins.
Retiring after the first loss or generally early is actually the worst thing you can do from my experience. Most 12 win runs I've had, had early losses. Even going 6-2 or 7-2, it seems like games are just much easier once you're in "loosers queue". Funny to see him slowly lose his mind but he probably could've gotten 12 wins sooner if he just rode out some of these decks 😄
Idk. Back in days definitely that was a case with easier queue (minus if you was infiniter) but now everything is so rng that probably isn't worth persuing (timewise) with 2 loses before 7. as someone that has gotten 12 wins frequently back when i played it's about learning what works best in arena and having a feel for games, when you get shut out remember what beat you, people do replicate strategy in arena even if the cards arent the same

@Vordt_ i still do pretty well after coming back to the game, its def changed but after getting used to the powerlevel the only difference is not knowing what half the cards do, but its hs so theyre pretty clear
What a ride!! lol congrats Rarren 😂
