Fun fact: For a little while after Shaman lost the Spell Damage totem for the Attack Buff totem, Windshear Stormcaller's battlecry wouldn't work.
Don't worry nobody's playing that card.
@@peshomighty5051I play it : (
did nobody tell him to play Tony into explore un'goro people with geist? Amazing.
togwaggle days
Music IS for everyone after all
Yea but we wanted to do it in a way that actually incorporated using the card. Like win using a card off explore un’goro, in a way that was intended in the card
Good times, good times@@mrac9248
@@justinvarieur4411actually incorporates the card? You certainly play the card and its required for the combo.
To be fair, wasting Zeph on oozing the weapon made the weapon pretty high value he traded for
The most epic duel using Dinomancy ruined by randomness - classic Hearthstone
Without the randomness it wouldn't have been that epic though... He'd have won fast.
I mean Explore Ungoro has been played in combination with Tony/Geist to destroy the opponent's deck
6:28 Vengeful visage copy attacked their face and didn't trigger any secrets - that's how you know it's not explosive trap
Rarran’s mom giving birth to him: *completely oblivious*
The doctor: “it’s a beautiful baby boy!”
Rarran’s mom: “what is? I didn’t notice any babies.”
Void contract actually saw some play in some versions of renolock with bloodbloom but i cant remember in which meta. Explore ungoro was actually played this month in some versions of reno or control warrior that included tony. Some only had it in ETC but some had a copy in the regular deck as well.
Evenlock in the rastakhans meta occasionally ran it as it would empty its deck so fast that you net more cards than your opponent by the play, also there were a metric fuckton of combo decks where dusting 1 card (mechathun/shrvallah) from them won the game
It was when quest mage with parrot and shudder shaman meta, it sometimes work but not really good still
yeah i got steam cleanered after a warrior played tony into journey to ungoro on me. saucy but inconsistent.
@@lukelorianTRONEvenlock didn’t exist in rastakhan
@@weebtrash3376 It definitely existed? It was literally the best warlock deck (not the version w/void contract necessarily but it did see play in that version). Genn/Baku were retired after the Rasta expac
The way the cards read makes it seem like Guff first would have gone up to 17 mana after playing Astral Communion, which would be sick
One day, I was playing Control Warlock and I faced a Jade Druid. They summoned a 1/1 with Jade Idol on turn 1. On turn 3, I played the 3/3 epic with a battlecry discover a warlock spell and take damage equal to its cost. I ended up getting Void Contract. I knew that the only way I could win this game was by using Void Contract to burn the Jade Idols into their deck. However, I couldn't use it right away because they might still have the card in their hand. So, I waited. When there were only 3 cards left in their deck, they used Jade Idol to shuffle 3 copies into their deck. On my turn, I finally used Void Contract and against all odds burned all 3 copies in a 6-card deck, giving my victory. This was my favorite moment in all my years playing this game.
3:45 I can imagine a lot of people do.
I don’t have a good economy of gold, dust or skill to get many cards but I eventually got enough for the skeleton/hero power package in Nathria, eventually when the hero power package rotated I didn’t get to play my full favorite (and basically only) deck that I really loved playing. So I just took my full hero power mage package into wild with skeleton KT high end
“It’s a screaming angle” made me laugh more than I should’ve
There's a combo with king togwaggle, Journey to un'goro, and optionally skulking geist which is definitely not good but is hilarious 😂
But wouldn't the opponent just not swap back, if you un'goroed their deck?
@@StAngerNo1 if you build your deck right, you can burn through a large chunk of your deck with warrior atm
That and since you're a warrior with no actual win con, the discover deck tends to actually be better regardless
Dude I feel like I gained some arcane knowledge when he said the real reason he doesn’t use a deck tracker.
1:39 Rarran showcasing the Neuron activation meme.
What a Madlad
During the quest mage/cube lock meta I lost a tournament to a generated Glacial Mysteries created by a Primordial Glyph that pulled his last Ice Block which was enough for him to survive my last turn before he started throwing infinite fireballs at my face and boi does that card live rent free in my head
I recall the Druid and Shaman ones being rather decent during their time. A bit inconsistent and a bit win-more respectively, but hardly terrible. The Warlock and Warrior ones were mostly meme decks, but more "whatever" than outright bad.
That said, my one sleeper hit from back in the days was Poisoned Blade. People would mock it and now that better cards (including better "big weapon" payoffs like Kingsbane) are around, it's unplayable, but I used to have my one copy in Reno/N'zoth control Rogue using Finley to swap heropower and it was actually decent to great - decks would usually slam oozes for low value and Poisoned Blade would shine. One of my favorite and best decks to play during Shamanstone era, both on ladder and in tournaments.
Warrior is now used exclusively to Tony + Zin Azshari + Togwaggle.
@@nunyabeezwax6758lmao what? Warrior in wild is either DMH, warsong, Odyn, or Reno. Tony is run in Reno, but ungoro isn't a real card and just isn't worth the deck slot in any deck lmao
Uses steamcleaner + ungoro to swap decks and permanently nuke yours. Same shit as druid but different card. But yeah it's mostly pirate and Odyn.
@@spekloop4952 Explore Ungoro was used in some fringe control Warr decks during Ungoro.
Could build a good amount of armour, then use Explore to search for finishers
lights sorrow can be good in questline paladin - with lothraxion
Gotta complete warrior and hunter ngl
11:36 And before today no one had ever heard someone say these words.
Astral Communion was actually played back in the day in some big Druid lists
This is probably the funniest video I've seen of yours. Nice work!
I use Dinomancy in my old wild deck - it is a highlander control hunter with the 2 drop that swap heropower - I used it to make my opponents heropower useless when they dropped their deathknight herocard.
12:30 It's 2024 & I'm waiting for the revisiting Madness episode.
25:35 is exactly how i feel when im using a meme deck for a achievements to get experience and play un in wild and they want to BM
Why you didnt pick the option of using towagle change the deck and then use explore ungoro to destroy the enemies deck?
i've always loved light's sorrow back when it released
basically DIY arcanite reaper in paladin lmaooo
Cant wait for you to play these decks again this year
I unironically run wind shear storm caller in my totem deck because like 9 times out of 10 he’s just a 5/5 you would be suprised how often people ignore basic totems for the big stuff I buff leading to funny man spawning
Dinomancy would probably be easy just doing a Hodir Gargoyle Jormungand combo. It hits for like 60 already
i used to have an explore ungoro deck, which was control warrior, with boomship and Hakkar, then id replace the bloods with explore ungoro and coldlights
3:33 glacial mysteries was made so mage had worse randomly generated cards
28:04 Don't lie, Rarran, we all know you don't run a deck tracker because chat & comments would go on even more about how the deck isn't built optimally 😂
I would just like to say, if you put dinomancy in a deck that even resembles a modern beast hunter, hell even as far back as the earliest copper hunter lists, it’s a pretty easy win. Dinomancy has synergy (even if it’s bad) with a genuine meta wild deck.
I think if one would not have the maximum 5 secrets but either significantly higher or just no limit the mage card would actually be good, especially now in wild.
that last game was painful to watch
"These Opponents are always trying to do something, man..." ~ Rarran, probably
"Poisoned Blade is bad." Ah you must not be a Dane enjoyer.
The more I think about Lifesteal, it would be a more interesting mechanic if it would only proc once.
to be one of the endless contrarians but questline hunter is unironically one of my favourite decks of all time
Consider that Explore Un'goro was bad when it offered class cards 4x as often. Now... big oof.
20:50 rarrran use the rockbiter
The correct way to use dinomancy is toplay an actual good hunter deck and then use grizzled wizzard to swap hero powers for one turn and turn their hero power to dinomancy. For most decks this effectively disables their hero power.
16:08 Major misplay here. Should have given Tinyfin the kill in order to boost his confidence as a warrior.
Okay that kirby music in the background is noice 👌
you couldve done the tony/explore ungoro/steam cleaner combo. Might not have broke you as much and the card wouldve won you the game lol
epic content right on time
Unfortunately Rarran, your strategy of not including Ice Block and Whirlpool in a Paladin deck was inferior to your opponents strategy of doing exactly that
12:35 I hope someone clip this and remind him 😁
I'm convinced, with all the random card production that Blizz has built into the game over all these years, that the main reason for creating such obviously niche AF cards is to intentionally troll players by giving them these options, instead of cards that would actually be useful. It's telling that in so many ways, the most substantial improvement to the game in years wasn't the latest expansion, it was the PATCH that saw small but needed improvements to cards that not only already existed, but which hadn't seen play in years.
If you'd have told me a month ago that original C'thun decks would be played in 2023, I'd have told you you were smoking crack, but now that's a REALISTIC option.
That tells you how jank this game is in terms of balance. The whole collection needs a top-to-bottom scrubbing to bring everything into balance, and correct inconsistencies that have been there since the beginning, but Blizzard will never do that work.
I can’t believe he wasn’t the zephrys ooze tech
is it bad that I love Dinomancy lol I just think its a fun card. In current hearthstone its pretty hard to use but I like it.
I remember when big Game Hunter wasnt niche and Bad 😂
It used to be the auto pick for each deck and now you're dead before you can play it
Explore ungoro has combo potencial tough. If you find away to dwitch your opponents deck, use that, switch it back then boom you kinda hindered any combo deck they had. And on top you can play loatheb or something later
you were playing a dangerous game against that questline hunter, one flare and you were smoked
Similar vibes. But how about challenge somebody where you each make 4 decks, the first deck being only commons, the next only rares, full epic deck, full legendary deck
6:27 wouldn’t the copied minion proc explosive?
Is Mythical Terror worth crafting/using?
Best epics? I can craft two.
Dinomancy and explore Un'Goro were great when they came out
"he baited me" Explosive aint triggered before, why should it be explosive then?
Can someone explain why did he gain a DK corpse at 8:57
looking forward to next year's surrender to madness video!
that shaman deck was so funny.
epic cards are the wildest cards in HS. not as powerful as legendary cards but just as unique and game-changing, and have more chance to do something original
Glacial mystery was used to set up combos faster as you have essentially 25 card deck whilet secrets are not bad
The worst epic card for warrior is definitely Sea Reaver, literally a boulderfist ogre statline with a negative effect
Dinomancy I feel is more a troll card than an epic
Rarran, you WILL be playing a StM deck in 2024: GUARANTEED
I cant believe new support made these cards actually viable
We have to see the completion on the last two, it must be done.
Quest Hunter was my sleeper in Twist because it beat Overload consistently
the mage game you counter spelled the first explosive
One oft hose formerly bad epics is now part of a disgusting otk combo now lol
Rarran sort of feels like the DougDoug of Hearthstone
Me in the future when Dinomancy got a big buff and explore ungoro got better
I also ran the totem deck and did pretty damn good with it x,D
Ngl, kinda wanna play nightsorrow pally rn
He should have done the Tony explore ungoro. Have Tony die, then steamcleaner the enemy deck.
He says we wouldn’t know it was explosive trap. But we knew it was not explosive, when the minion summoned by the secrete attacked faced. It would have triggered
Would it? I thought your secrets couldn't trigger on your turn
I swear all these games feel like everyone is doing a challenge run at this rank.😅 Except for warrior or perhaps it is just that bad with their epic
Ah yes, Dinomancy
From Yogg
I like how almost every card in this video came from the same year of hearthstone, what were they thinking?
Such a good video dude omg
Pre nerf secret passage has to be the best
Your suffering has eased mine for an hour today. It truly is unfortunate however it is a sacrifice I am willing to make🙃
ah yes, just face a secret hunter and copy THEIR secret payoff cards then it's good lmao
it's already time to play surrender to the madness again?
man didnt swap the decks with togwaggle and then didnt destroy it, smh
Do it with worst epic minions next
Fuck man I love Dinomancy, such a fun card for a beast tribal deck. Sadge. 😢
There is a stupid deck with explore ungoro and togwaggle. And after u fk up the deck and they take it back u have the skulking gohst that destroys all 1 cost spells
3:44 its one of my favorite decks, thats was the first deck i made for standard when i played after years of hiatus from HS
Who's gonna tell him Visage procs explosive
Secrets do not trigger on your own turn, and when Vengeful Visage triggered it was still the hunter's turn
Lights sore-o
>worst Epic card
>Astral Communion
?????????????????
Who are these people and point on the doll where hearthstone touched them.
3:04 If that actually took you 20 games I would be really surprised at Silver 1. In Diamond or Legend, sure. But in Silver and Gold most people play fun decks in wild, and I know that because I only play fun decks and am usually in gold or low platinum. And Astral Communion Druid is not that bad.
I tried so hard to make that idiot shaman card work lol
The paladin game was painful 😖
if cards don't actually matter when you have explore un'goro, why no genn
