Most of the dashmats should have cut outs for your airbags. For best fit, wet the mat and weight it with flexible weight ( bean or rice bags ) to hold it down and help it mould to your dash. Good luck.

Very informative video, thanks!! I'm not sure if the LR4/Disco4 dash cover would fit a Disco3. Probably with some adaptations. I'm saying because it's leather wrapped, pretty nice and doesn't crack. It also has some special stitching where the passenger airbag is. Or else you could do an ugly glue-up just to make it solid and then cover he whole thing with a nice leather wrap based on the Disco4. Cheers from Canada!

Thanks for the comments. They definitely fixed the dash cracking problem on the LR4 dash with that stitching, I always wondered why it was different until my dash cracked.

@@TheOverlandLegend My Disco 3 is lowering overnight for three year now. At first theres the orange light on the dashboard with the alarm song bothering me all the time. Then I discovered a crack on the cover of the air filter on the compressor. After I replaced the filter the light never come up again, but the suspension continues to lower overnight. I suspect the problem is on the front valve or in one of the struts. I really don't want to spend a fortune in the strut and yet not solving the problem. I will try to take out the number 26 fuse to see what happen overnight, Cheers.

Does anyone make a coil spring conversion for that vehicle?
      Not ideal but--.
As for the dash, I think I would go with a cover first. At least a cover would protect the dash underneath and possibly prevent it from further damage.
      Cheers Alan.

@@calsurflance5598yes there is a coil conversion but then you loose the ride quality and versatility with height adjustment and the electronics get confused and you have to somehow overcome all the errors not sure how to do that so I’m just sticking it out

What happened to the four airbags you mistakenly replaced?
LR TIME and LR DRIVE are good repair sources for Disco 3 (and 4).
I’ve had a dash mat on my Disco 2a for years. It’s held in place with sticky pads and Velcro. There is a flap for the air bag should it activate. 💣
Steering damper swap for the wobbles?

I sold the front airbags and kept the rear ones , this is rack and pinion steering so there is no damper
