Yeah, it is weird to hear an unfamiliar song years later. I owned Second Helping in 75 so it's nice to hear other stuff. I would like Asia and BJ to react to "On the Hunt " live video from Winterland. Just great .

Just like ZZ Top, their music don't get old. My two favorite bands. Ronnie said if you have to write the lyrics down then it aint worth singing and he never wore shoes on stage always barefoot. The band now is more of a tribute band to the ones lost over time, Johnny is doin good taking over the vocals from his brother

The music I discovered in 1974
When I was 12 and how truly loved all my life is now officially in the hands of future music lovers to be passed on.
Whating you 2 really enjoy the songs I have loved for 49 years really brings me joy in my soul.
I was blessed to see them live over 20 times.
Unfortunately I was supposed to go with friends to see them in Hollywood FL. Then did not go.
They left that show headed north not long after that I heard they crashed.
Everytime I went to a live show it was after the crash.
On my wife's birthday I took her to the Biloxi show.
Because it was a special occasion, I went full pop.
Meet and great. Green room photos with the current line up of musicians.
That was the only time I was able to speak to Gary Rossington.
Founding member, crash survivor and the guitar player that plays slide solo on Free Bird.
I simply said thank you for music that helped me understand what to avoid & What to embrace.
Between watching my older brother knowing herion was his go to, and songs like That Smell and Needle and a spoon. When offered that stuff it was easy to say No.
I made lots of mistakes hey it was the 70's.
When I heard Gary received the final healing and was gone from this world I was sad.
Then I remembered what he said once in an interview.
I like to let my guitar do the talking.
So I have been listening alot to that guitar talk lately.
Gary's wife is Dale Crants Rossington.
    A power house female vocalist..
After the crash and the healing of unbelievable wounds from the crash.
    Founding members
    Gary Rossington
    Allen Collins
Called the other musicians prior and current when they crashed.
    The New Band
    Rossington Collins.
When it came time to select a singer. Gary and Allen knew a female would help aviod the, " no body can replace Ronnie crap.
    Don't Miss Unfortunately Me
    Next Pone Call
    Pine Box
    All had that signature sound.
    And Dale killed on vocals.
    Start that journey with.
    Don't Miss Understand Me
    Live
Travis Tritt sing with Dale and its like magic.
    Thank you both.
Your jorney discovering my music has been fun to watch.
Like Ronnie sang in Mr. Banker.
" how much does money mean"
    The answer
    Nothing without joy.!
    I a 61 year old
White boy from Ft Myers Fl
Thanks for the joy you bring

First time hearing this Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Missed it somehow these past 50 years. :) Nice. Down there in the Southern blues tradition, lots of cheating and shooting the cheatin' woman... like in the blues lyrics. A little-known LS song, but it's got all the right elements. Thanks for the reaction!

On the Hunt and Am I Losing were my favorites. Whiskey Rock-A-Roller was a big hit… these were folks of a different era, and things were certainly different… but the inspiration behind the music and lyrics are genuine. Ronnie Van Zandt never backed down from a fight.

I had forgotten about this song. Everybody does a "free Bird" reaction, but there are so many good songs by Lynyrd Skynyrd. She loves every man with pants on. They say a dozen for you is too few. I was in love with one like that decades ago. I know how he feels. I thought about his solution too, but I did not chose it, thankfully. Thanks for doing this one. Saw Skynyard in 76.
