A 2 pack of black bar stool covers are about $9 from Amazon, a much better recommendation since this video is all about budget, not breaking the bank on one with a logo on it with a mark up of around 500% c'mon man.

I only have a wheel stand, but I have a lot.of these items. I have a wired mechanical keyboard, but I also have a Bluetooth micro keyboard that is held on my wheel base by a magnetic mount. I also prefer to use a mouse, so I improvised a mouse tray from a mini cutting board we were not using, and cut a mouse pad in half for comfort. I skipped on a drink holder, because I just set it on the floor next to my chair. Velcro wire management works great, but unfortunately, my wife and I recently added to our vintage toy collection, so the room my rig is.I'm went through and overall, so my wire management needs to be tidied up!lol
A pair of cheap warm weather biking gloves and water shoe is to me really worth it. I had a T-150 and the rubber on that would irritate my skin after a while of bare hand driving. While the shoe have give me good grip while being as flexible and comfortable as socks

I already have a 'dust jet' for cleaning inside my PC, but didn't think of using it on the rig - great advice 🙂 For people that don't like track-pads, or find a conventional mouse unwieldy in a small space, i've gone the route of a compact logitech wireless keyboard plus a separate wireless trackball.

Believe it or not, every time I review a sim racing cockpit, I spend about an hour cleaning off the finger prints before recording. What always works for me are microfiber towels with a bit of water. One damp one followed by a dry one.
@@OCRacing Because it's rather lazy and looks cheap. You were able to film and edit an entire video, which takes both skill and human creativity. Asking a machine "hey can you make a thumbnail" is simply put, lacking creativity. If you want to solidify yourself as a youtuber that seeks quality, make your own thumbnails.

I have 2 rigs packed with equipment (Fanatec dev employee, so... 😅) and I completely cover the monitor, wheel base, wheel, and h-pattern shifter on each to keep that pesky dust to a minimum. By the way, your new video format is excellent! Good to see your face 🙂
I don't like it. (Not in a 'it's awful and it's the worst Video ever' kind, but in a 'this camera perspective style doesn't provide anything good and to see the rear side of the head feels very unpersonal' way)

I bought mountain biking gloves on clearance at a sports store, and they are amazing. Spent less than $40 CND for both pairs.

I use an electric air duster. From a brand called hoto. It's actually really good and adds the bonus of not having to buy single use cans of air 😅

You should've mentioned a ball mouse that you don't have to slide, but rotate a ball to move a mouse which is space efficient
