    Clove oil saved me when a tooth cracked in half and I had to wait two weeks to get a root canal. I’m all better now but it worked amazingly in relieving my pain.

      I had the same experience by using clove oil when I had a tooth ache. I actually put the oil on a dental floss stick and used it several times a day and my toothache went away!

    I believe that this was an ancient knowledge that we lost over time. I've known that cinnamon and indeed all the other spices that belong to the same family i.e. clove, were good for blood sugar spikes therefore they were used in desserts which were full of sugar. I am definitely going to try chewing on a clove.

    does the clove have to be chewed and ingested or are there advantages to just keeping in mouth for some time?

    I chew handfuls of cloves along with crystallized ginger every day--it's become my new favorite snack. However it's a dubious claim that chewing only ONE teeny tiny little clove daily would provide that much benefit. We need a study comparing people eating one clove daily to people like me eating handfuls of cloves daily.

    Hi Rupy! Long time listener, first time caller.
    This topic is of particular exuberance to me as cloves are an important part of my daily routine. I believe you are selling them short if anything. When you mention that it might be a lot to eat 30 cloves in a day...well, let me tell you...I go through at least 30, every single day, without even really trying!
    I was a smoker and smokeless tobacco user who switched to vaping and nicotine gum respectively. I was stuck in this state for a long time. I was even able to stop vaping. But I was never really able to quit the gum, partially because I did not really see it as a major issue. I recently learned that all gum was bad. I had an oral fixation and nicotine addiction.
    I replaced the gum with cloves. It worked. Shockingly so. I have been fully off the gum and vape for 5 months now, all thanks to cloves (well maybe stopping sugar helped quite a bit too, thanks Dr. Lustig, but as you say Rupy, cloves help with getting off of sugar too...)
    I have since done more research into how cloves were used in medieval times when the Marco Polo and other spice trades presumably introduced them to the West. Cloves come from the same island as nutmug as it turns out. I have since added nutmeg to my clove routine. I use the combination as a gum/breath mint replacement.
    What I do is to take the cloves with the really nice large buds, about 4 of them, bite the tip off the stem to release some of the flavor and use them as a nice mint from there. In the course of finding the nice cloves with the big buds you find some regular small bud cloves too. I usually eat about 4-5 of those along with the stem tips from the big bud cloves. This releases a lot of the flavor and then the big cloves can be sucked on for over an hour usually. I also take a bite out of nutmeg nut to get a chunk about the size of a breath mint to add to that and role around with the nutmeg and 4 big cloves in my mouth for several long stretches throughout the day.
    As you can imagine, by the end of the day I have eaten essentially at least 1 nutmeg nut and 40-50 cloves. It isn't as far fetched as you made it seem in the video!!

      Try this if you have pollen allergy and continuous sneezing day long. Crush 5-6 cloves in a bowl and soak in water for 45 minutes. Boil that water and use your regular tea brand to make tea. Do it in morning and evening. After 6 months your lungs will be clear and the sneezing totally disappear! My personal experience.

    Interesting info, but does it really live up to the title "Incredible Benefits Of Chewing One Clove Everyday for 30 Days" - why the hyperbolized title? You basically say cloves have a variety of potential benefits, but not a mainstay of a treatment. When you made this video, you hadn't even eaten a clove a day for 30 days.

    • @paulonofreo541
      @paulonofreo541 13 годин тому

      It’s individuals such as yourself that make naturopathy appear to fall short of the pharmaceutical industry to the mass population. If your body could benefit from a natural substance, why is your main objective to prove hyperbole in the title? If you don’t see it having benefits to your body then move on, why comment? I could certainly see countless benefits from ingesting anything natural and organic with anti-oxidant properties. If that simple deductive reasoning was too difficult for you to wrap your mind around, perhaps you should consume content with more remedial information being shared so it can be more palatable and not so overwhelming for you.

    There is nothing ESSENTIAL about clove oil.

    • @susanbloor8541
      @susanbloor8541 9 місяців тому

      There are two meanings to ‘essential’. One is something that is absolutely necessary and in this sense you are correct. The other is something that is of the essence of something and it is in this sense that we have the phrase ‘essential oil’: the oil is the essence of the plant.
