Just wanted to share a tip/product for anyone including Dalia who wants to use peel and stick anything but you're left with the sticky residue after removing. This stuff really works. Literally.
We have this product in Australia called 'Orange Power Spot and Goo Dissolver' It's only a little bottle but just a few drops goes a long way. Pour it on, leave it sit for like 5mins, plus little bit of elbow grease and you can get rid of the residue. Also it just smells of oranges so no strong chemical scent. You might want to wash your floor or counter/surface afterwards with warm soapy water just to rinse it off and wash away any crumbs of glue but yeah. Miracle product I've used for years just to get sticky labels off things then I tried it on some adhesive vinyl tiles I wanted to remove.
I sound like one of those comments advertising miracle product or how to get rich quick but I swear I'm not, I'm just a girl who loves these DIY videos and wants to share a helpful tip Xx
-ooh also; its Australian owned and made by Aware Environmental, endorsed by Planet Ark, and uses all plant based ingredients (I'm an artist not a scientist so don't take my word I just read the back of the bottle)

Congratulations! You have a super power! I am embraceing my ADHD, and I totally relate to what you said about having 50, 000 ideas...
Your brain is wired to be creative and unique. And your super power is thinking outside the box, having an ability to come up with ideas at a rate neurotypical brains generally can't keep up with. Don't let it ever get you down 'cos you're great just as you are. 🥳💕

I’ve been months wondering if a may have this. I was good at school but I started cutting class bcz everything was too easy or boring. I’m good at many things, painting, drawing, singing, dancing, decorating, music… but I can never stick with a hobby. And after she said that it kinda clicked how I have sooo many ideas both creatively and professional and I know how to start but don’t know at the same time.

You can lay down some plastic insulation under the flooring. Looks like packaging wrap. Its easier then adding all that tape. Thats what we did when we reno my family in laws floor and it was an easy take off when we took out the old floor tile.

You were the first person I watched on youtube to do diys and I was completely inspired to do my own. As someone with Adhd, I 100% understand the challenges we face ( a million ideas and can't decide which to execute or finishing things or simply getting started). I've just moved to a new apt. And I feel so blessed that I get to have a clean slate/foundation to work on. It helps me to prioritize keeping clutter to minimal or nonexistent and focusing on items that are intentional and have purpose in my space. The rest goes In the garage hahaha. Ty again!

Totally love the result! Would never have thought of cutting the tile like that. As a general rule, I'm not a fan of Herring Bone, but you made it look fantastic! I also love that you show the process. As you pointed out, the others don't at all and they make everything look so easy and fast, when the reality is totally opposite.
The game you talked about looks like it will be really good to have. I'm going to get it because I too love that concept.

You remind me of my self 10 years ago, got married rent a (very old) house. Had millions of ideas to diy this and that. And up removed old wallpaper, painted the whole house cream white, built wardrobe and after 2 years moved. Another renting and renting until 6 times got 2 kids and now bought our first home. My advice is don’t waste your money on make someone else’s house pretty and removing all your hardwork cz u need to move again. keep your money for a house deposit. It took 10 years for us but it’s worth it now 😊 just saying all the best for u two

Hi all! Looks amazing. Although I’m catching up & may be a little late for suggestions 😁 but you can use a peel & stick quarter round on the gap against the wall…it will look fine with the existing trim. I used it myself and it really cleaned it up. I think I may try this pattern on my next bathroom.

Have you every tryed using a dispoable pipping(frosting) bag with grout.
It worked for us with kitchen wall tiles getting in the grooves

I’m so here for this! Herringbone tile just elevates the look altogether. Though I will only have patience to try it in the bathroom as well. Fantastic job 🤍
