- Hi Friends! Today I'm FINALLY making over my rental living room! This took me 6 months to complete and I am SO PROUD of how it turned out! I'm going to be sharing my favorite rental friendly accent wall paneling and how to make a huge tapestry that is perfect above a sofa. I'll also be refinishing a diy bench and turning it into a tv stand, showing you how to make a modern plaster side table, a blanket ladder, and so much more! This diy living room transformation has been a serious labour of love, though I'm typically a bit hard on myself while I try to bring a vision to life. What you might not know is that I often live in mild chaos for months before it comes together (seriously not an exaggeration)... but the good thing is that when it's finally finished, it's all worth it. I'm so thankful for how it turned out, and I'm also so thankful that you're here for the journey. I hope you find a little inspiration from this video about how to decorate a living room. The plaster table ended up having a Native American quality, after you painted it black. The geometric shapes are reminiscent of those scene in many Native designs. I would swear that was solid. Great job.
