You do know she went on shows making fun of herself n her weight. She put herself out there to be made fun of she did herself. It is Shame she let herself be a joke.
@@mommamomma3607 I don't agree. It's not a shame. The most endearing characteristic a person can have is that they don't take themselves too seriously. People who can make jokes about themselves are generally the happiest people.
There was nothing wrong with her it’s just that this world is full of judgmental people who are jealous or are just naturally awful. She had a beautiful voice and I love her music.
@Rhonda Bothelio If it's that big of a deal then just lose some weight. Seriously. It's not that hard. The hardest part about getting fit is to quit making excuses. Countless people who were very overweight got serious about their problem and did something about it. Honestly, I doubt that any of what you said is truly accurate. You don't know her thoughts or feelings. Perhaps she was a very happy person. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's most likely you whom you are referring to. If so, then I suggest that you make the decision to do something about your weight problem. If that is the case that is.
@Rhonda Bothelio As I said, people who suffer mentally or even physically over something like being fat is sad especially when that's a problem that HAS a solution. If they were depressed because they had no feet, well, that's understandable since feet won't grow back. But weight can be lost. People do it every day. My recommendation to anyone with "weight problems" is to learn about weight loss and get started NOW! I hate to sound like I have no sympathy, but in a way, I don't. Not with issues of being overweight. To be blunt, people who are and who stay fat, are really just lazy. That's a fact! I don't sympathize with lazy people. Sorry.
Jimmy Hendrix, Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse... all members of the notorious 27 Club. So many famous singers, musicians and actors, all tragically died at age just 27.
The 27 Club was started by Robert Johnson, who died at 27. They claimed he was possessed after visiting the 'Crossroads', because that was the only way he could have become that good on guitar in such a short time.

I had a blessed career as a studio singer for 60 years and during that time had the honor of working a few times with Ray Charles. He was a very kind and gentle man. RIP, you are missed.
She had a heart attack. She was a great singer with a beautiful voice. I bought the CD. I am a Mama and Papa’s fan.
Very tastefully done. Informative and touching.
Cass Elliott had one of the most beautiful singing voices ever. What abtalentbdhe was.
Cass Elliot had such a beautiful voice. It’s sad her weight got so much attention.
Janice Joplin?
That fact is eerie.
Thank You for making this video. It must have been a lot of work to research and produce it.
I am surprised that Michael Jackson didn't get mentioned.
R.I.P. to all of the musicians mentioned.

@@stephenfricke9298 Yes, you are correct. Although very talented, Michael Jackson was a pop star, not a "legendary rock star". (My mistake - I got confused between the two genres.)

As someone who goes to many cemeteries, I've been to the supposed burial sites of Zappa and Orbison. They're very close to each other but if it is true that they're there, I think Zappa would've liked to be buried near Roy.
I’d bet that Roy would get a kick out of it too. He was a Great Jokester & Loved Pranks & just loved to laugh. Or do I’m told by someone who was one of his roadies & they became friend & some off them actually they were the ones coming up with a bunch of the best pranks. I’m So Happy To Here This. Love Them Both but I MUST BE HONEST THOUGH ROY WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE A BABY

Went to Paris a few years ago and to Morrison's grave. Never knew why he was buried there. Thanks for the info.
No one really knows why he was buried in Paris. There have been many opinions on that over the many years. From what I have heard, his parents weren’t even sure why. His girlfriend at the time me died, Pamela Corson, wasn’t even sure but she died a not too long after Jim. So..no one to really ask anymore. He was a brilliant child in school from the first grade. I saw a lot of his childhood work & it was unbelievable how advanced he was. (Go to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio if you ever can! His work & many photos are displayed there.) He was also very handsome from childhood on. A true talent!! ♥️
Dennis Wilson was an alcoholic. He'd been drinking screwdrivers all day, and went to the spot where his old boat used to be moored. He was diving, looking for things he'd thrown overboard, when he had his boat there. Incredibly tragic.
Wow! That is sad!
This one although sad, the man was a mess. Wonder how someone gets like this after having 'it all'...
@@danadelaplante6797 Dennis was lucky to have friends, family, fans and women support him through substance abuse, the huge wane in popularity of the Beach Boys, the Manson 'thing' and his #1 problem - alcohol. He did manage to write some incredible music and be the force behind getting the band back together.
His last relationship was with a very young girl, rumored to be Mike Love's daughter.
They would stop by the store every morning, buy a big bottle of grapefruit juice, pour half out and fill it with vodka. Dennis had some demons and he lost the battle to them.
Super tragic.
