Dude you could literally bring up any rocker of the 60's and have it make sense. That entire era of music was fueled directly or indirectly from drugs.
They were hippies, they did lots of drugs but they were all about the weed or acid trip, in a room being all peaceful, they didn’t really party like Mötley Crüe (I mean blasting music, pouring alcohol into someone’s mouth from 2 bottles at the same time, thrashing a place, bunch of hot girls, partying until the body can’t handle it)
Later in life there were new stories about him having blood transfusions, so that’s one of the ways he stayed alive. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for these guys because when you’re trashing hotel rooms the only person you’re affecting is some poor woman who has to clean up your mess for $7 an hour.
I saw Keith in 75 . He came out about 15 minutes late. He drifted in and a stage hand hooked him up his guitar. He was totally F -ed up but played like it instinct. He messed up , broke a string . Keith was white as a gost . I heard someone say " Keith's wearing makeup" and the the word came back and we herd he was pale white" . I remember everyone waiting for him to drop. He didn't and got better and played for over two hours.,but never changed color. Keith at his worst was the best concert I've ever been to. Everyone was on the edge of their seats , like a high wire act on a rollercoaster. They covered many encores and last song was " Finger print file " and I remember it being the best tune of the night . Nobody ever thought Keith would make and you could tell the band thought the same . I probably would've partied with Kieth if given a chance but I probably wouldn't be alive. Anybody who doesn't put Pantera at the top of the list didn't do their homework. Even all of Motley Crew has been quoted saying "nobody could party and keep up with us, well, except Pantera. Those guys are insane"
The guys from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Those guys knew how to party. Shooting guns off in hotels, letting tour bus’s run through banks, busting windows out of planes on commercial flights, the constant fighting amongst each other, throwing tv’s through hotel windows, fighting and cussing out interviewers, and when they toured Europe their bass player would poop in peoples shoes...
I remember when Vince Neil had the car crash. I was living in Los Angeles at the time and I believe he actually went up the wrong way on a freeway ramp and went headfirst into two People who are driving a small VW bug. He ended up paying a large settlement to the people in the VW because they were basically injured for life. People at the time who ran to heavy-metal were pissed off because he never went to jail where as the average citizen driving drunk and injuring people for life would’ve been put in jail without a doubt.

another fact about john bonham which when i heard it, i just was jaw dropped. the reason he would wear a headband on stage was because he would stick acid tabs underneath so that when he would sweat, they would melt into his skin and i guess it got into his system quicker. i also found out too that he would stick anywhere between 10-20 tabs, so that throughout the show he was constantly getting high. i just find that so interesting
I notice many people on here saying "it should have been so and so who died of overdose." The point is, everyone on this list should have (or in Nikki's case did) died at some point and yet they managed to survive. Luck maybe, but makes them the harder of the partiers in the end. Survival of the fittest, and the people on this list were more fit to party
Good thing I'm into gardening and sipping tea and the odd toke.. Don't let these stories be something to emulate, most people won't care too much for your extreme partying.. Just relax, be yourself and enjoy the moment.
There's a big difference between partying & just doing stupid, insane things. Destroying motel rooms, snorting ants, licking up piss, etc is just plain stupid.

The hardest partying tour was Depeche Mode’s Faith, Love and Devotion. Jerry Garcia aka Captain Trips first the Acid tests then he was into speed balls and was addicted to heroin after 1975 till he died in 1995. I still miss Jerry!!! 🕶️🎶🎸💉🖤🖤🖤
Yeah, no shit! I don't care what this video is trying to imply, it's Jerry Garcia hands down as the hardest partier, previously the highest man alive! The thing people fail to realize about a great number of famous touring musicians through the years (such as Billie Holiday, and MANY others....) is how they would use uppers and downers in order to be able to show up exhausted on the road, and need to perform that night, and yet have control over getting some sleep for the next day's show over and over again for years. Jerry Garcia played over 3000 concerts with the Grateful Dead over 30 years, an average of a full scale concert 1 out of every 3 days for 30 YEARS! AND-- played several hundred concerts on the side with Jerry Garcia Band, as well as many acoustic projects, David Grisman, and many others. Yeah, there were VERY off nights because of it, including complete absence of Jerry some nights, BUT-- it never would have been the same otherwise. NOT my cup of tea what-so-ever myself, but I understand how Jerry was using his drugs in order to keep on playing, even if it did get the better of him at times, and in the long run. It was the junk food and Jerry's diabetes (and the cigarettes) that killed Jerry more so that the expensive ass top notch coke and opium.
I remember hearing about the vince neil thing when I was a kid watching airheads. I always thought it was a quip until I asked my dad. Crazy. He only served 19 days out of 30 too!

Dude you could literally bring up any rocker of the 60's and have it make sense. That entire era of music was fueled directly or indirectly from drugs.
Everyone you mentioned died at 27
@@IzzyDaKid well that's just not true
They were hippies, they did lots of drugs but they were all about the weed or acid trip, in a room being all peaceful, they didn’t really party like Mötley Crüe (I mean blasting music, pouring alcohol into someone’s mouth from 2 bottles at the same time, thrashing a place, bunch of hot girls, partying until the body can’t handle it)
Since when Jimi Hendrix partied hard and destroying his own life? Lol
I wonder if there will ever come a day when science will be able to adequately explain Keith Richards?
Later in life there were new stories about him having blood transfusions, so that’s one of the ways he stayed alive. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for these guys because when you’re trashing hotel rooms the only person you’re affecting is some poor woman who has to clean up your mess for $7 an hour.
Keef stated that his dad could out drink him. And, his dad lived to be 90.
He has better genes then the Royal family
Well, royal families have a habit of keeping it in the family, so…
I saw Keith in 75 . After that I never bought in to all the talk about him dying or the Stones quitting. He goes and the heart and soul of Rock n roll goes. Nobody has ever" Shocked and Showed us more than him .😎
Interesting story.
@@wakethebarbarian4577 If truth is stranger than fiction , that's the "Life" of Richards and I was pretty wasted too,so at least 59 percent of my story is true 😜❗

Sadly, the hardest partiers were the ones who died: Keith Moon & John Bonham.
Also best drummers.
Jim Morrison
@@charlestaffe5819 Yeah but moon, bonham and morrisons favourite kick was alcohol and alcohol is the worst drug to constantly abuse, damages organs, fcks with the central nervous system, they did it all day everyday all night every night. alcohol is the only drug that has a withdrawal that can kill you its far harder to come off than heroin, that's why keith moon died after taking 36 alcohol withdrawal pills(clomethiazole). Bonham got alcohol poisoning, and morrison fled to paris to cut down on his drinking and ended up ODing on his girlfriends heroin that he supposedly thought was cocaine. Ozzy should be dead but his dna makes him able to withstand the abuse, he survived but now look at him today shaking, stuttering, tremoring. his neurological pathways are permanantley destroyed.

You forgot David lee Roth from Van halen.
Not for me
Drugs are a drag, unless you want to die young like Jerry 53 and the rest of them, except Keith LOL
You can definitely hear it when Gary Rossington talks in the great Showtime documentary "If I Leave Here Tomorrow."
Billy Idol is the definition of badass. You look it up, you will his picture.
That's the American justice system in action. In many cases completely arbitrary and unfair. You realize how stupid people are, in general, when the verdicts and sentences are imposed.

another fact about john bonham which when i heard it, i just was jaw dropped. the reason he would wear a headband on stage was because he would stick acid tabs underneath so that when he would sweat, they would melt into his skin and i guess it got into his system quicker. i also found out too that he would stick anywhere between 10-20 tabs, so that throughout the show he was constantly getting high. i just find that so interesting

I notice many people on here saying "it should have been so and so who died of overdose." The point is, everyone on this list should have (or in Nikki's case did) died at some point and yet they managed to survive. Luck maybe, but makes them the harder of the partiers in the end. Darby Crash from The Germs? Dude would literally take ANYTHING without even asking what it was. He'd do it ALL and get blithering drunk in the process!!

The hardest partying tour was Depeche Mode’s Faith, Love and Devotion. At the end of the tour one band member had left before the end so he could recover Alan Wilder left the group Martin Gore became an alcoholic and Dave Gahan was addicted to heroin. The tour was epic. A great band that is still playing great music.
It was a depraved tour yes. The Devotional tour 1993/94. Sadly we've lost Andy Fletcher recently 💔💔

Taxi I always wondered how he got addicted. I read somewhere it happened overseas during a tour
@@InfamousMedia no it happened in Golden Gate park, he went to try opium and it was heroin, he got addicted his first time and never got clean.
