you should change your step order to left handed. did it it after 15 years of experience and got a much higher availability to right technique. only cost me some month of basic training
Yes, you're doing a right handed approach as a left handed hitter. Do the right approach, and it will make opening your shoulder easier. It will feel a lot more natural.
@AM ROAR LOL so just stop writing your theory about what he thinks and accept reality: this guy jumps high and spikes great. 26.900 subs know it, you don't. That's the only fact. Maybe watching few more videos before commenting would have helped.
@AM ROAR Pretty meaningless answer. "Influencer"? You are clearly clueless about this guy's skills and why he has this remarkable public. As already told you, there's a real reason for his spiking form and it is better than your theory.
X Y AM ROAR is right. He just didn’t watch enough videos but all he done was point out an obvious mistake. His approach is wrong for the hand he’s spiking with. No doubt about it. Lol views or subs has nothing to do with skill and common sense
brooo thats nice to hear u able to play with that height. i am 20 cm taller but aint sure if i should still start playin. like i am 17 and basically not really experienced but i totally wanna play it somehow.
Hello I am a french volleyball player and your spike is very good but there is a big problem with your step : your spike with your left hand but you do the step in the wrong order (left right left) .If you want to have more power you must do right left right. It's difficult to change this but train. Good video
It confuses your opponent. Since most people spike with their right, if you spike with you left they’ll be confused for a moment. This also why he is called the Ace because an Ace has a special attack up their sleeve.
Can you make a video to share your blocking experiences?? I am struggling with blocking because I am way taller than the opponent players but don't have a good block
@@oyasu1139 with what ever their dominant hand is, its just he has a unique run up :) what ever works tbh, he jumps like a beast so there's nothing wrong
Hey you might already know it but you are losing out on some easyness and angles because of your goofy foot approach (left and right in "wrong" order). That angle thing you were working on with the cones would be easy for you with a normal approach because your arm will be in a more natural position. Might take a bit of time to retrain though, or might be quick depending on how used you are to vary up things! :) However, interesting video, I'm gonna play around with the ball in hand thing to see if it teaches me something! :)
Hey man, none of these comments are helping you fix your approach. Being able to draw your elbow back to swing is a necessity as you know. As a lefty, approaching on the right side of the net with the last 2 steps being right then left, your body is naturally facing away from where the ball is coming from. This also leads you to take a longer time to draw your elbow back to an effective distance to get maximum power. My advice to you is to practice transitioning off of the net with these steps: LEFT(facing where the ball is coming from)RIGHT LEFT RIGHT LEFT. you will be about a meter behind the 3 m line as you should be. As for approaching: LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT. make sure to explode during the last two steps as you would for how you are doing it right now. As you integrate this footwork into the drills you dod in this video you will find that you will have a faster arm swing, you will jump higher, which will result in bouncing balls :). Let me know if you have questions or if you have anything you’d like to critique.
He knows this . He has stated before the reasoning for his different jump is because the proper aproach hurts his right knee. Dunno how it works but thats what he said
@@williamkent2446Karch Kiraly did it at a very high level in beach for years. It isn't such a huge deal. He can compensate for it by just having his feet closer together rather than sideways and then opening up isn't as hard.

True that's the biggest Problem

no matter how hard you train you'll have to adjust to the set
Well duh but u wouldn't be able to adjust to the set without proper training
Isnt that literally what you're training as well? Reading sets
That's what we're training for to give a bomb spike with any set we get 🔥

@@aniketsthings that’s true but you should also know when to tip the ball because sometimes placement wins over power.
