      Fat on a “low” carb diet does not make one fat. Fat and high sugar and high carbs together make you fat. Fat is necessary for brain function, nutritional absorption, hormone balance, mood balance, and ironically fat will make you satiated so you’re more likely to burn fat rather than over eat as you move around.

    • @SRose-vp6ew
      @SRose-vp6ew Рік тому

      Fantastic fats would be avocados, olives, fatty nuts, and Coldpressed olive oil on salad, grass fed Irish butter, eggs, avocado oil for high heat cooking, and coconut oil. Seed butters such as unsweetened sunflower seed butter and One proper serving of fatty meat per day are healthy and not anything like trans fat or excessive amounts of saturated fat added to high sugar and high carb. Fat satiates and typically has people consume fewer calories even though it initially has slightly more calories. Fat does not make people fat, nor does high cholesterol foods make people have high cholesterol unless they’re on a high sugar high carb diet. The body can even run on fat, this is how so many people have seen healthy keto bring their diabetes into remission. Seeing a dietitian and being on a continuous glucose monitor is suggested along with working with your doctor if that’s the more natural (nutrition-based) direction you want to go.

      Problem is most are full of thickeners and "natural" flavors (industry lingo for chemically denatured derivation of natural flavor). At least the major brands.

    I just got diagnosed with diabetes. I quit soda pop, and all sweets. I was drinking 2-2 liters a day of soda. Eating all kinds of junk. I still want my milk. Milk, water, tea and im now loving the 0 sugar soda waters, they put flavor in them but no sugar. They’re gonna be my savior for kicking my coke habit.

    My doctor and dietitian advised whole milk and not skim or fat-free they further recommended a brand of whole milk that is lactose free, has reduced sugar, and has higher protein. I am focusing on carbs and sugar elimination, more veggies, and fats are not of concern. Similar to Atkins or Keto diets.

    Sadly My son was diagnosed with type1diabetic last year at age 10. We never had a diabetic person in both side of families. And believe it or not I did not even know such a disease (type1diabetic) even exists. I do not believe that type1diabetic is genetic at all and I do not buy that theory at all. I am 100% convinced that something ( either the food or a virus) makes a gene ( cell) mutation and cause type1diabetic in kids. And I have a very strong feeling that the cow milk made him to become type1diabetic 😢 Thanks to his doctor who recommended us he needs to drink 3 to 4 glass of milk every day to be healthy. He was a healthy boy and out of a sudden he got down with this disease.... I have been doing a lots of research on milk and I came a cross of this.
    Finland and India ( besides US) are one of the highest milk consumers in the world...also they do have the highest number of type1diabetic in the world too. So clearly there is a very strong connection right there.
    In addition milk is full of growth hormone, and I am thinking that could be the main reason that pancreas is getting damaged and not producing insulin anymore.
    Nice video doctor, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
    Please do a video on a history of type1diabetic ( not insulin discovery), I really like to find out how far this disease existed in a world.

      That's a strong possibility u could be right, when I drink the cheaper brand of milk like at Walmart, after about three gallons of it, i break out in hives all over my body,found out its Contact Dermatitis, which was an allergic reaction to something in the mik, in my case, when I drink the higher priced milk that states on the label that they use no "growth hormones"no preservatives, and such, I don't the get Dermatitis,,they definitely put bad things into the milk from the cheaper brands, it may have had a negative effect on your son, especially being so young, sorry this has happened to him, hope all is well!

    But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:8-9)

    Okay..... in a Utah State University study milk, oil, and eggs are high sources of bad ceramides and having high amounts of bad ceramides in your body are the root cause dibeaties right????? So how is it okay to have any dairy products??????? Explain what I don't understand
    Dairy is just as upsetting to me as patatoes are to you
    both are delicious and dangerous
    I relize things are complex and it takes more than 1 element to create the perfect storm so to speak

      With those studies you have to be careful....... how many people and how long and was it over say 5 years or so was there 100 people or 1000 ETC ETC BE Careful about believing all the studies they are not all correct unless done over many years and many types of people and numbers
