Blood sugar can be addressed very effectively by changing your diet to remove all of those foods that creates inappropriate blood sugar. If I drink 2 bottles of water when I wake in the morning before I eat it only lowers my blood glucose by 5 points (I’m not diabetic) 2 hours later -also lemon water on a empty stomach raises my glucose ( lemons do contain sugar) -apple cider is the best I’ve found if you don’t have any type of indigestion

That's great to hear that you enjoy peppermint tea! Peppermint tea can be a refreshing and healthy beverage choice. Peppermint is a natural herb that has been found to have some health benefits, including aiding digestion, reducing inflammation, and improving mental focus. It is also caffeine-free, which makes it a good option for those who are sensitive to caffeine or who want to avoid it. Your method of making peppermint tea sounds like a good way to keep it handy and available throughout the day. Just be sure to keep the tea refrigerated to prevent bacteria growth. It's also important to note that while peppermint tea is generally considered safe, it may interact with certain medications, so it's always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider before adding it to your diet.

I am a type 2 diabetic and I am glad I found this youtube video, as I have problems with my bowels, kidney disease, aches and pains in the lower part of my back, prostrate problems, blurred eyesight vision where I got to wear glasses.
Most people can reverse Type 2 Diabetes with a keto lifestyle, keep carbs 20 grams or less per day, prioritize protein and don’t fear fat. Eliminate sugars, processed foods, most fruit, grains and vegetable seed oils.
Paul: Burdock. Clearly, you need to detoxify. Dandelion is useful to detoxify, also. Since your absorption of toxins seems extensive, research herbs for detox and start drinking/rating a variety of them. Remember basic scientific method caution and try one at a time for several days before substituting a different one. That way, if you have a noticeable good or bad reaction, you will be able to identify what you're reacting to. Perhaps limit yourself to trying one for 3-4 days before discontinuing and then starting another. That way, you will go through 2 detoxifying foods a week. Once you have gone through the list if detoxifying foods you want to try and identifying your noticeable reactions, if any, you can then avoid negative reactions why alternating detoxing foods at will. The goal is not to detox fast. The goal is to detox in an efficient and effective manner. I just use burdock, but that's just me. My sister uses ginger, but I don't because some people get hard to manage diarrhea from ginger. You can increase your water, too, but understand that increasing your water will also decrease your electrolytes. That is why water in the firm of trash, soups, and stews is to be preferred. You can also drink a non-sugared sports drink diluted. During the summer when I drink more water than usual I will sometimes drink half my daily intake of water as tea and half as 2/3 water and 1/3 non- sugary sports drink. That is not scientific. It is merely to gently supplement my normal diet. I tend to run low on potassium, for example. My goal with olive oil, bananas, and sports drinks is always to avoid charliehorses. Your goal is to detox without adding additional strain or stress to your tissues.

Of those listed i regularly drink water, apple cider vinegar, coffee, green tea, and red wine. As for cider vinegar and beetroot juice. I put a vinegar based dressing, (red wine or raspberry or low salt homemade Italian, on salad and add cider vinegar to a bowl of chili with beans as they do in some places in Mexico. A tablespoon or so sweetens the chili somewhat and cuts the spiciness and heat. You can also get your vinegar and beetroot fix by making a salad of canned beets with the juice and cider vinegar, with diced onions, parsley (optional) and diced green peppers for color and flavor. A dash of sugar substitute brings out the sweetness of the beets. Add a small amount of pepper and salt to taste. I have coffee two to three times a day, sometime splurging at night with a cup of Irish coffee with just a splash of creamer. So far since I was diagnosed with steroid created diabetes in 2019 I have kept my A1C at a steady 6.2.
Thank you for sharing your detailed regimen! It's great to hear how you've incorporated these drinks into your diet to manage your blood sugar levels. Hi. This is a very interesting & informative video. I never thought I might have a sugar problem, but now would like to look more into it. I do have a strange allergic reaction to any & all wheat products, only thes past 2 years. ALL my joint (only on my right side) gets inflamed & painful 6 hours after eating foods containing wheat. Could this be diabetiese related too?
You probably are dealing with a reaction to glyphosate, a very toxin substance sprayed on wheat in the field. Like all inflammatory issues, there is toxic overload. That being said, make sure to check your blood sugar levels daily.
Thanks very much for the edification! It’s very informative and I am more comfortable with your input of how to use the very essential drinks to control diabetes.
What would be most helpful for this and other similar videos is to include carbohydrate information in grams per volume. That's how many of us diabetics decide what to eat and drink. I know those higher carb foods are going to push my blood sugar higher, often too high, and I like to control blood sugar with diet instead of chemicals and medicines.
David: Well, then surely you read the food labels and can do basic math to calculate carbs. Total carbs per serving are listed on food labels. Online information searchers are 4th grade skills. You can online search 'how many carbs in a medium sized pomegranate,' for example. Surely, you have already been given the list if bad vegetables to avoid: rice, wheat flour products, corn, and peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes.

I am a 3rd generation type 2 diabetic. Am 85, never been hospitalized, have had the benefits of a great diabetes education program…and a dad who was meticulously careful in healthy habits. If your clinic offers classes, by all means ATTEND, and take notes. It is not rocket science and yes, you can eat well. Visit a good library and a good bookstore and get an up to date, enjoyable book on how to eat. Above all, do not get into bad MENTAL habits. If your eating partner is not cooperative, make it clear that you are going to develop fun, tasty, SAFE habits. Good luck. You will need a few months to work this out…but if you are at all adventurous in the kitchen..,it will be fun. And READ labels. The food processing industry is not your friend.

Lots of good advice. Made mouth hygiene is always bad for not only teeth and gums, but digestion too as digestion starts in the mouth. Another thing is movement, exercise 💪 The body has innate ability to heal itself. Needs the right tools. Like yoga, meditation, breathing excersises... anything to focus less on the condition and allow more parasympathetic system to be active. I am inspired by Dr Bruce Lipton, Dr Joe Dispenza. I hope that whatever we are suffering from, we heal from 😍

Lots of good ideas. It’s incredibly important to make sure the apple cider vinegar has the “mother” in it. If the ACV is transparent, it’s not the right one. It should look cloudy, with particles floating in it, or settled on the bottom. The mother contains all the essential minerals and nutrients. Also PLEASE read the ingredients on the almond milk, I’m very curious why she would recommend almond milk over whole cows milk, almond milk usually contains questionable ingredients too. But not all, just read the carton. And if you’re like me and cannot stand the taste of Stevia, try Monk Fruit, it’s sold with other sugar substitutes like Splenda (which spiked blood sugar) Monk fruit tastes sweet without a bitter after taste.
@@christineewing3492 I would like to know the same for pure Monkfruit! There is a Dr Berg who said to use Xytoil which is made from sugar alcohol and taste like sugar without the bitter and cold aftertaste and does not raise your BS.

I love Peppermint tea I put 1 teabag in about a gallon of cold water in fridge let sit overnight and enjoy all day long
That's great to hear that you enjoy peppermint tea!
I have been following your advice and I can personally say I am getting good results as my blood sugar has not been out of control anymore.Thank you for your great advice

You can reverse your diabetes by cutting carbs and specifically sugar. You can reverse your diabetes in 3 months.

@Paul Wood- Are you a Christian? If you're not, you may want to become one. God is able to help you with your health issues.
Thank you so much for all the great information. I live in South East Asia, in a remote area, the local hospital diagnosed me with Type 2 diabetes, however could provide next to no information on how to deal with it, without your you tube I wouldn't have known anything, I have watched most of your videos and I want you to know how very much I appreciate your information, it has helped me more than you can imagine.
Where can I get the kombuci
Eat lots of salads and meat for more than 6 months basically keto you can reverse diabetes type 2
Look into intermittent fasting. Dr Jason Fung on you tube has many videos for treating type 2 diabetes.
Costco sells Kombucha. It is in the refrigerator. It’s good ginger lemonade.
I add lots of lime to water it's really good I also do that to kambucha I add parsley and ginger turmeric and spinach to a morning drink with lime
First time I tasted Kombucha tea I didn't know if I would try it again. It's sort of an acquired taste. I quickly acquired the taste of Kombucha. Now every time I go to the grocery store a bottle of Kombucha leaves the store with me. I learned of the beneficial microbes, but, the capacity to reduce blood sugar and the A1-C test makes it even better.
Wow! Thanks for sharing!
I drink most of the items on this list. Started making my own Kombucha a few months and it tastes even better.

Type 2 here and for my body the only thing that impacts my A1C in the positive is mild to moderate exercise and no sugar, no carbs if I need to see rapid sugar response. Just for the record my sugar doesn’t swing a bit, it’s always high unless I cut carbs and sugar. Everybody is different when it comes to diabetes. All of the beverages listed here are absolutely good for diabetics, but do not regulate my sugar much. My main beverages are water, coffee and tea. No sugar of course.
Your tips on using cider vinegar and beetroot juice in recipes are really helpful. Congratulations on maintaining your A1C at 6.2 since 2019! Keep up the good work!
@@DiabeticsTalk I should add that since I take an infusion every six months for a rare illness called vasculitis which has not only exacerbated my once manageable COPD forcing me to use oxygen, but also negates the effects of the COVID Vaccine leaving me homebound and unable to go other than to my doctors, or to a drive in restaurant, or a sit down one after normal breakfast, and lunch hours, or before supper hour or late night, masked and sitting away from other people. No one other than family is allowed in my house except family and my housekeeper once a week, and my neighbor who helps me with my wheelchair to the doctors office and does repairs on our home and cars. I am 75 and my wife is 77. Our 50th Wedding Anniversary was on July 20th. Unfortunately I was in the hospital as with a collapsed lung, possibly created by an injury when a chair leg cracked and broke off sending me head over heels and on to my back. So right now though I just got a used stationary bike and a treadmill for my wife's exercise will be limited to walking around my living room and trips to the john.

I put a tiny bit of cream in my coffee and it’s fine for my diabetes. No sugar. But drinking black coffee just makes me sad.
What type of cream do you use? Can I just use low-fat milk?
I understand, the guys I worked with at a plant that made cement laughed at me when I added cream to my coffee. I started sipping a little with a bite to eat. Eventually, I learned to enjoy it without the cream. Try sipping on it black along with something you like to eat, then before you know it, you'll be in like flint!

Yeah you do
You probably are dealing with a reaction to glyphosate, a very toxin substance sprayed on wheat in the field. Like all inflammatory issues, there is toxic overload. That being said, make sure to check your blood sugar levels daily.
Please get tested for celiac disease.

@@BoatPotomac Wow. How amazingly rude, God love you. And from someone who flaunts their academic title. So condescending and superior. You think no one who knows how to watch a YT video doesn't know how to do that? The best YT videos are a complete package. This one was not, and I suggested how it might be better and more complete. Rather than accepting a suggestion intended to be helpful, you scold. Such a shame, bless your heart.
@@daviddavid9837 Seems kind of arrogant David, you ask for someone to do something you could easily do yourself, and even more arrogant to call some one rude, when you get called on it. It's like when some one does you a favor and sweeps your floor, it's like instead of saying thank-you, your suggestion is like saying, "could you wash the walls to".
@@ppumpkin3282 No. It's not like that at all. Only inside your kind of arrogant head. I think the video would be better with carbohydrate information included, and I made the suggestion. Other viewers agreed. And now that I'm told how easy and effortless it is to find, it makes me think how easy and effortless it would be to add to the video. Now, go try to bully someone else.
