Dear Mr Ash, it is such a thrill to see your interviews with Frank, you dressed up in your State Troop uniform and at the same time giving this musical genius your admiration and love for his music. Such a contrast and I am sure Mr Zappa loved being there because of the slightly weird combo you two represented. I am also sure your interviews with him had an anti drug educational effect on some. You should be teaching your children the facts plus values, such as, act responsibly. Then your children will understand the lyrics as you understand them (as entertainment), and perhaps have similar opinions. Schools can also teach sex education so that STDs and unwanted pregnancy can be avoided. What we need is EDUCATION, NOT CENSORSHIP.

WORD! 👏
Funniest thing to me is rob halford was thinking about men lol
Edit: and the fact that frank keeps getting cut off but its allowed
Edit 2: the first audience member reminded me of 'Harry, You're a Beast' lol
That Savage Grace LP is hard as nails
Love how this lady has recited more dirty lyrics in 30 min than most rock stars do in a lifetime
Charlie Rose knows pornography when he feels it! 😂
Now l know were Mr Zappa wrote Joe's garage
Smell The Glove
I don’t think that Judas Priest song was about a woman lmao
I thought the same thing
This lady is rolling in her grave hearing Megan Thee Stallion nowadays
She's still alive.
Also Elvis courted priscilla at age 14 and he enjoyed hanging out with groupiess who were 14 and such..
the main thing FZ was against was censorship. lots of his music crosses lines that kandy stroud would have wanted censored. but his output, product, or whatever you want to call it was his and perfectly legal to market to willing consumers. strictly commercial. arf.
You know the old adage that nothing is certain in life other than death and taxes? It's time to add a third item to the list: self-righteous busybodies who presume to determine on everyone else's behalf what is or isn't appropriate or within the boundaries of good taste under the guise of "protecting the children".
The Mick Jagger clip is hilarious
Ya why isn't every song "We Are the World"?
That young guy who said “People just don’t want it played” looked like he was blown plumb out of the frame.
It’s funny how all over the place tipper gore was back in the day. A liberal Christian nationalist.
If only Kandy knew what was about to happen via telephone lines she'd have advocated cutting them.
Straight forward problem…
IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER LISTENING TO A CERTAIN SONG OR GROUP, THEN DONT BUY IT FOR THEM!!!
18:15 - FAX. Google Frank Zappa. Then Google Kandy Stroud. See which one of them might have needed to pull a publicity stunt.
Kandy Stroud: "Censorship will never find fertile ground in the United States."
How wrong she was.
It's everywhere.
@@Lagzatzappateers you can say that again
