Yes, the magic is disappearing from the music because the magic is also disappearing from our culture. Products/Brand names mean everything nowadays where as people, relationships, wonder etc. used to. The art won't change for the better until the focus becomes far less materialistic.

I listened to Frank Zappa as a kid. I never wanted to rape someone or abuse a child in any way. I also listened to all the other so called " Morally dangerous" bands of the 70's up until today and never have I ever done anything wrong as far as what types of morally repugnant activity that Tipper Gore and the PMRC claimed that it would cause. I started listening to Alice Cooper and Frank Zappa at an early age 12 and they have only made me a smarter person if anything.

Wow, I feel old. This was going on when I was in 7th grade. Don Imus hit it on the head though. Most of the really controversial lyrics they were talking about were from obscure bands. My health teacher decided to jump on this bandwagon and put on a presentation for our class about the dangers of music. I was introduced to bands like 'The Mentors' and 'WASP'. Two bands I never even heard of. I went to the record store the next day to look for the albums.

With the upcoming documentary on FZ hitting the screens, he will be getting some long overdue extra exposure and attention. Hopefully it will switch a lot of people on. Music is art. Not UA-cam. FZ would have ruled these platforms. We need Frank and we need him NOW. Go tell your friends. Buy his records. Not downloads. Frank Zappa is the king. Never to be beaten, over-shadowed or ignored. The highest level of respect we can afford him is to enjoy his music and listen to what he says and throw in a little bit of 200 Motels on the side.

It's because ppl are uneducated and don't know or understand history enough to know that most of the Bible has been proven NOT to be historically accurate with other events that took place proving it UNREAL.
