- In today's abandoned exploration we head into a home that was abandoned in 2019. The man who lived inside was a head CEO position of a global company, in many ways he worked beside Barack Obama. Inside the house we will find letters from the former president and his family. The former owner of the house moved to America in the 1940s with his wife, a European actress. At 1st they had a hard time adjusting to life in America, but eventually they found their way. We will be investigating the house, finding clues, and figuring out the larger story that needs to be painted for this abandoned home. Everything is left inside the house and upon further exploration we find letters and blog posts describing the downfall of the company, and eventually the downfall of his health.

This is one of the more detailed and emotional homes I've had the chance to explore and document. Definitely an interesting story and location here, with all the contents left in the place as well. I enjoyed this place, let me know if you did by letting me know your favorite part / room or anything! Thanks for watching guys !
Seriously all those parrots🦜🦜🦜 and those solar dancing things in the window
This place is basically a private museum! Wow! Very impressive
I so want this house I would keep the good stuff does anyone know this guy or the family of this house I’m deadly serious I want want this house so damn bad I want 99% of the stuff in this house where is this house located please please help me pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeeee I want this house so so so so bad give me any details on the house and family anything that I can contact the realtor family anything history diaries anything please anybody I’ll do almost anything for this house
this video was AMAZING!!!!! i loved it all
Too fast! I'm out at 11 min
The home tells the story. He was from the UK with no family in the states to leave the home and its belongings to. Can tell he was elderly from the walker, his clothing kept on the 1st floor and classic elderly hoarding. I’d bet he passed away in the hospital with no last will and testament. He was simply forgotten. Sad.
Exactly 😢
Everybody is eventually forgotten
aww, so that explains why literally everything is left behind. it’s a shame his family didn’t claim any of this stuff. they should try coming here one day
This happens often, that is why both American and Japan both have over 10 million abandoned properties making them the two most abandoned countries in the world.
Japan is worse because of the density and land size.
I’ve seen cans of food that were so old that the food finally began to rot inside and produce gases until the can exploded, causing a rotten food grenade to explode rotten food shrapnel all over the inside of a cupboard.
Hopefully if he has any family they eventually find the place. Those pictures of him are probably priceless to someone out there.
There is no more family sad to say
Your excitement is so contagious and pure . Thankyou for showing us that side of you with what you love, and making us love it too . This video was SO good
It's so strange seeing how these places are just left filled. Makes you wonder what could have happened for that stuff to be left behind. Another great exploration!
Covid19
It is very strange considering the Obama connection. People who know things disappear all the time anwish. easy to make look as they wish. Just like Phillip Schneider.
When looking at the keys in the drawer at the 8min mark there is a business card with a phone number and if you google the phone number its leads to another abandoned place called the Grandview Palace condos in Liberty NY, it used to be called the Brown's Hotel (Catskills) and it burnt in 2012 there are a couple of urbex UA-cam vids of Brown's Hotel worth watching.
Nice, thanks for telling us.
I been there already. Don’t go
FYI: The White House Christmas cards aren't that hard to get. All you have to do is send one to the President c/o the White House and you will eventually get one back. I used to do that years ago. They aren't hand signed, any signatures are imprinted on all the cards sent out.
Bubble bursted…..🥲
I used to get them from Pres. Carter during his Admin. Worked on his campaign in 76 for a school project.
Hey he was a personal friend of them that means extra hugs from Barack 🤣
Obama actually did respond to large volumes of mail with handwritten letters to people all across the US. Towards the end, he answered my email with another email.
Great episode and find. One note: Those 'letters' from the Obamas aren't personal. They're part of a mailing list to donors who gave over a certain amount. I recognize them because I've seen them both...my dad has them (and more) from where he donated during Obama's first and second term. You'd find the same things from the Bush family to those who contributed to Bush's campaign, etc. Those aren't hand signed...just facsimile (printed) signatures. So the headline suggesting that he was an employee of the White House isn't just a little off, it's definitely not accurate.
Again, still a great episode, just really off in terms of referring to him as a White House employee.
rut-roh
Yeah, nothing personal about the card. It's a great place without the hype.
I really enjoy his videos, but I think he's pretty typically Gen Z sometimes. Well meaning, but a bit out of touch with reality. 😂
@@ScreaminEmu lol yeah- sometimes, I just can't with some of the ridiculous statements.
@@ScreaminEmu It's the gen z reality removal mixed with essential abandoned exploration clickbait
The photo that you said is beautiful - it's taken on Charles Bridge in Prague - Czech Republic.
Love your videos! You have a great eye for film and the best way to tell the story of the past homeowners. I know this is going to be fire!
What an amazing find! Look forward to your videos every time! 🖤👏🏻
His name was Ivan and married a famous Czechoslovakia actress. He was also in England and spoke no english searching for political asylum. He was probably Russian Perhaps he was a defector from the Soviet Union and to get out of there was very very difficult. Plus he had political relationships at the highest levels of government later in life. Well educated, a MD (not sure what kind of doctor)and spoke multiple languages and got out of the USSR at the height of the Cold War.
Thanks.
That was awesome bro. You are way above the average explorer. You really discovered a lot about the individual who once lived there. Kudos.
I think this may be one of the craziest abandoned exploration videos on UA-cam. What amazing finds and history you've found.
Wow. This was a special explore. So much info. Nice to see Steve Ronin! Great explore! 🥰🥰🥰
This is by far my FAVORITE video of your collections!!!!! What an amazing man with a rich history !!!! I love love this find !!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The title is wild af, can't wait for the premiere
Thank you for this video. This one really tugged at my heart.
I'm also an urban explorer and found a Mossburg 12 gage rifle years ago during one of my explorations. Obviously you don't want any weapons to fall into the hands of a bad person so I actually took it to a local police station and explained how i found it. They were actually cool about it and I was able to keep it because the gun did not have a serial number on it. Turns out it was a pre '68 vintage model but it's hard to know what to do when you find something like that
The police let you keep a 12 gauge shotgun with no serial number on it?
@@arcturus4317 I doubt that too. Absolutely no way.
@@pickledcottoncandy I broke into a stranger's house and found this gun. Can I keep it?
bullshit
God bless your respectful way you do this, great release.
My favorite part was the large, framed photo of the 3 polar bears chillin' in the snow...the one lying down on his back with his gut at high noon was my favorite. Give that bear another Alaskan Amber. Game's not over yet. 😀 Damn, I love this channel...thank you all for what you do.
I love the painting of the Siamese cat face in one of the bedrooms.
you are a really nice guy... I've been watching your channel for years. Good job!
Great find. Thanks for sharing it with us 👍
I'd love you to do some content digging into why the homes were left in such a rush.
Same
im digging right now to see who this guy actually was.
I hope you guys contacted some authorities about the guns in the house with the ammo because if you guys find it so young kids can find it and possibly get hurt playing around with them. You either need to take them with you or contact some authority to come and get them and remove them from the house.
That’s dumb if my kids found those guns they would bring em home and clean em and hunt squirrels with them. Just show the difference between the right and the left way of thinking.
@@jstsumguy29 It indeed does show the mentality between left and right when the right could care less about how dangerous firearms can be in the hands of children. There is blood on your hands every single time a child dies to gun violence.
@@MrHurricaneFloyd
Yes Karen.
@@MrHurricaneFloyd sooo you consider accidents to be violence. And when a actual murder happens you bitch about those who broke no laws. And you believe in government…which literally is a monopoly on violence lol 😂 I guess ya can’t fix retarded can ya.
@@jstsumguy29 Just think about this, if guns were found by kids and used, and those same guns were involved in a crime and your kids were caught with those guns, guess who the first person would be a likely suspect in that crime, your kids!!!
I love your explores. Just gives me such an insight of American life. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful house. It looks sketchy. Great video & interesting stuff. ❤🏠🏚😊👍
Thank you. Enjoyed.
I really enjoyed this one! Interesting to see the story unfold!! Very good!
After this video this house will probably be raided by FBI.
Devin like I said before I hit thumbs up before viewing all your content is awesome you make this so interesting ❤
Makes me sad to see personal items left behind.
A great find, thanks for sharing 😊
Excellent find and sad too!😢
Great video! Thank you.
Great find and video.
Superb vid many thanks 🙏
Great find!
Awesome job on this exploration.
22:15 The city on the pictures is Prague in the Czech Republic. The guy's name was Ivan and his girlfriend came from there, too, so I guess he was a Czech himself.
Czeched.
do you know who his girlfriend even was?

Wow the power is still on?! I'm always surprised these abandoned homes almost never have homeless people living in them.
Direct debit maybe?
You could probably go and watch tv on the Sharp tv. It doesn’t even look like it is abandoned. It looks like the owner just left to get groceries like 5 minutes ago.
@@jena.alexia Wouldn't that suck...leave behind a bank account with a bunch of money in it, just for it to go to the power company til it runs dry.
@@snowkist99 That would suck given how much money those energy companies make.
The mattress on the floor in the living room looks like homeless were sleeping there at one point. Also the burnt candles in the kitchen for lighting. Indicative some one was there. 2019 is not that long ago
Great video guys😀👍
What a great find. Great video.
What a find… enjoyed every second.
“Oh Wow!!! All the briefcases!!!” 😳
Great find I love your videos
Wow, so surreal. Really enforces that we leave it all behind when we leave this earth. It was exciting and so interesting exploring this great find with you. So crazy how they left guns behind! Oh, and so many clothes. Wonder why the place was so trashed? Maybe he got too sick to take care of everything.
He was experiencing severe pain, as written …
Staged, at least in parts.
Great video!! I presume this house was from the 1950s or so? Crazy fascinating stuff you found
I love the light fixtures and doors.
I love that you think of the end of the world scenario when you go in these abandoned houses. It's exactly what I think of when I explore one myself. Cause they what if? Ya know?
Cool find
If it was me I’d be reporting the house due to the gun’s I wouldn’t want kids to go in there pick up the shot gun load it up and possibly hit one of their friends
Me too. Guns may belong to whomever is living there or recently lived there *not the deceased homeowner
😇 OH happy Day....... I have soooo fun with the Chenel! Thanks for the great update
Awesome house thanks
Hi! Just found your channel! Pretty cool!
Aren't most bathrooms "walk-in"? 🤔 Just joshin' ya! Great explore! Sad to see all the stuff from a life left behind. Thanks for the explore! ❤
I thought that myself afterwards lol
@@DarkExploration cool find. Who’s paying for electricity? The oven time is blinking on and off indicating that there’s power in there as seen in the intro.
@@Dr-Random I think this means there's at least a caretaker. As we all know, the power company isn't very forgiving of unpaid bills after a few months. There's not much chance they would overlook a bill not paid for over 2 years. The second I saw those digital lights, I panicked a little for him. Hoping no trouble comes from this exploration.
@@snowkist99 oh thx
FYI, what you call file strips are called negatives. They are put into an enlarger and printed on photo paper and developed. Or made into slides.
That place looks really nice and I like the circle driveway.🙂👍❤️
Fantastic video. So much stuff left behind. It all could have been donated.
Rifle is a .22, looks like a Marlin Model 60 (that’s the small ammo you found). Not sure on the shotgun but it’s a semi-automatic 12 gauge, looks like a nice piece.
Car keys you found are for a Mitsubishi.
That first camera you found was from 2002ish.
I believe that the owner of this house has had a good life - and certainly an interesting one, rich in experiences, as travel and knowledge of languages are very enriching. The moment you opened the photo album of the house cracked me up. You can see that the man loved this house and put a lot of heart into creating it, hence these before and after renovation photos - the progress has pleased him greatly. It's depressing that today, after a few years, this beloved house of his is reverting back to the state it was in before the owner's actions; it's as if it's coming full circle of its lifespan - from zero to tremendous progression, the glory years, and then it's an even keel and it's heading towards a house in need of renovation again, which is simply passing away - just as its caretaker's life has passed. The man blogged it so that the world would know it - and now, thanks to you, the world knows it - I, for example, am now watching it from Poland. This is probably not what the man expected - you are doing him a nice favour.
What's wrong with owning a Sharp TV?!?!
I have the same TV and it's perfect!
Love this channel
Wild stuff.
So cool!
Honestly this place is beyond epic! This guy was sure a really amazing dude! RIP
Have you not see. the Exorcist??! NEVER go up a ladder into the attic! YIKES!
Well done!! Opening the fridge/freezer! What on earth was going on with that guy?! Considering his position in government, I would have thought all records from those days would’ve been removed as well as the guns. And the photos! Wow! What a bunch of history there in that house. Fascinating explore!
That’s a really huge house!
The sleeping pallets on the floor as well as the jugs of water behind the basement door means that squatters/homeless people have been living in the house.
I have that same TV and it works perfect!
he loved to vacuum all day long
😂
I hope this house is cleaned up and saved for a new family.
Nice Lowepro backpack.
I have the feeling that someone who knew this man will react when they see this. I wonder if we will hear more in the News outlets given his connections to some famous people!
A friend of mine lives in the area and has sent me photos from here, I recognize all of the fake birds! I’ll have to add it to my list to check out
wish i can come along cool places like this im in Michigan
That front door is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Wonder do you ever go back to the houes or ever find out what happens to them? What happened to the guns ? Great Video
That is a sony FD Mavica, model FD100 from 2002. The Mavica series were often known for using floppy disks as media storage. I'm not into them but would like to try one someday. They can be had dirt cheap as there were millions of those made.
I'm a digital camera geek and any point & shoots or DSLR's you'll find, I'll probably point out.
It’s so weird seeing him hold up a camera that’s “old” and it’s literally from when I was like 16 hahahahahahahaha
@Dark Exploration Films. I had the captions on. When you commented on the craftsmanship of the door @ 8:54 the caption afterward says thank you!
Walk in bathroom? Aren't they ALL walk in?? lol
Water in those plastic jugs evaporates.
Are those clothes could just go to people in need what a really cool find that house is amazing
❤ ilv this vgideo from Parañaque City Philippines 🇵🇭
Send money you’ll get a Christmas card too!
But left alone...sad.
Yeah that Christmas card from those two guys is really something…….
With all the Shop Rite cans there’s ONLY a few States where this can be Imma lean towards Jersey, lmao
Someone else went to look there and the guns have since dissappeared.
What saddens me the most about abandoned homes are the memories left behind and who were with them on their last days?
Bro, I'm both federal employee and military member for the dept of defense. This video was heart felt. Loved it
I'm always so worried your going to get tagged for trespassing. Do you get permission from the local PD before entering these places?
You need to be trespassed first (told to leave and not come back) to be considered trespassing. As long as there aren't signs up and you aren't breaking in.
I wasn't worried, until I saw that the electricity is still on 😳😳 someone's paying that bill. Oh well, at least they're respectful when they explore. I don't think the caretaker would be all too mad about it.
Maybe the electricity bill is direct debit from a bank account that was never closed but still has money in it
@@DRKDNCR That's depressing. Still owe the electric bill in the afterlife. damn.
I used to have that exact Sony Mavica camera, it was about 2004 when I got it.
A floppy disc model. I had one in high school in 1999
I like that dog picture
What if though while exploring an abandoned house you found government documents telling the truths of everything and the secrets of universe and stuff and then bad guys are like hey you can’t see that and then its escape and it’s like a movie or something
So sad that the owner died and all his belongings just stand still in time.
In healthcare I've seen some sad endings but this one bothered more than I thought.
WOW
It Just Proves Everything You Loved, When You Die. Those Items You Loved Are Just Trash. I Think Its Time To Stop Buying More Trash.
There are so many vacuums, because he could not find them in the horrrible mess and just kept on buying new ones. 😂😂😂
