    Day 175
Did Carnivore combined with OMAD for ten months to see what effect it would have on my psoriasis. Zero effect but I had huge energy, got a lot from the little sleep I get, felt very calm and my vision changed. About three months in while looking out the window into the garden, it was like suddenly turning up the colour on the TV. I've seen comments by people equating when this happens to having a Spiritual awakening but it's just decades of inflammation in the nerves behind the eyes finally clearing. It did feel mystical but I was simply seeing everything in its true colour. I could have happily stayed on that combo diet but the weight loss was severe and to eat more regularly on meat is far too expensive. Enjoy this time for however long it lasts⚡

Apart from the psoriasis it sounds like an amazing experience. It is very expensive but I'm doing something about that. But yeah, we'll see where it goes from here.
      Cheers!

I haven't finished watching your video yet but couldn't resist commenting after you mentioned about how meat is acidic. Glad you know that. I'm transitioning into the Healthy Skin Diet right now - which is a book written by Karen Fischer. In my second to last video I read out loud about the importance of having a healthy PH balance at around 7.3. If too acidic we would die! Our blood would create holes in our veins!
Our body is smart however it uses up minerals stored in our body to maintain this balance. When it has run out of the supply, Step 2 is it stores excess acids into our fat - that's why people who are overweight often struggle to lose weight, as this would release too much acid into our bloodstream (so I imagine that you would need to have a super clean mostly alkalising diet if wanting to lose weight safely and efficiently). Step 3 is the body takes calcium from bones which can lead to osteoporisis and speed up the aging of the body.
Now I'm not expert but I felt it worth passing this on to you and other viewers of your channel. What you say about acid burning fat may be correct but I read it gets stored in fat. I also doubt that your bad breath and white tongue issues were purely from a vegan diet years back. Did you do it the right, healthy way? Or were you still loading up on cakes and the wrong kind of carbs?
The Healthy Skin Diet is for both carnivores and vegetarians. Worth looking into if you ever find that carnivore isn't the long term solution after all. Good luck ✌

I looked up "The Healthy Skin Diet" and it's the complete opposite philosophy of the carnivore diet. But I guess most diets are. I've tried all of those, and back in my vegan days, I ate very clean and what was considered "healthy." I managed to alkalize my stomach, so to speak, and I think I've been suffering the consequences ever since. But the experiment has only begun, so it's too early to say.
I try to go by anecdotes from regular people, and the stories of healing coming from them are mind-boggling. And they just keep coming. I suggest you find the channel "No Carb Life." He uploads new interviews every day with normal people telling their stories. They basically heal all ailments, physically and mentally.
My personal experience is great so far. For that reason, I'll keep going for now. And since I'm having good results, mentally and physically, I now want to dig into the research. I'm going to read "Toxic Superfoods" by Sally K. Norton and see what it has to say.
"Toxic Superfoods" and "The Healthy Skin Diet" are complete opposites when it comes to food beliefs. I have done it all on the conventional side and have also tried to "balance" my diet. Something's been missing, and carnivore might be the answer. Time will tell.
      Thanks for commenting. 😊

@@EmilIllumThanks for taking the time to write me a lengthy response Emil, I stumbled across it after posting my next one 😂 Nothing wrong with a healthy debate. We don't have to agree on everything. I respect that you choose to dig deeper into the research side of things. That's great that you are feeling good! I also experienced that I wasn't as irritable yesterday, my mind felt calmer. I am also taking health supplements now... it's only early days. We all deserve to feel like our best selves. Take care brother 😊

I hate to throw a curve ball into this conversation but I am going through a spiritual awakening and am reading a lot of about foods and their vibrational affects, it is said (by others) that meat is one of the lowest vibrational foods and especially if you are seeking to raise the sacred secretion. Can anyone add an opinion on this? Thanks

Hey man. It's all good! Makes for interesting conversations.
First of all, I think we should be careful to take the thoughts of others, and make it our own truth, without having experienced it first. So maybe you need to try it out for yourself.
I was a vegan for 3 years a long time ago. I think ditching meat and going plant based made me more neutral. Back in February I attended a 10 day vipassana retreat. The things I learned where invaluable, but we only ate a vegetarian diet. From the things we were told, I could tell it was heavily influenced by indian culture and hindu religion. Cows are sacred there, so it makes sense that it is incorporated. But, the evening lectures from S. N. Goenka made it clear to me that it is dangerous to combine ideology, diet and spirituality. Goenka, the lovely man with much wisdom, was a "big" man and in the tapes he was constantly sweating and snorting. He did not look healthy to me physically.
I would separate the two and look at your personal reality. What do you feel like when eating vegetarian vs. what do you feel like on the carnivore? Only then will you find out what works.

@@EmilIllum That's a very interesting and valuable attitude. I also am learning about the seven deadly sins and gluttony is a big one for me but not just overeating being precious and 'finnicky' about food is considered gluttony. I guess we come back to 'balance' whatever that is for us. Great Channel!

@@Oakdieu That's OK I throw a curve ball at poor Emil all the time 😂 Yes I too have heard that plants are of a higher vibration, haven't dug deep into it yet though. It makes sense to me that they are lighter and therefore help us feel lighter. Meat is dense. That said, we do need some grounding on this earth, that's where root vegetables and wholegrains can help. Appreciate this conversation and Emil's views too 🙂
