So glad everyone voted for this. I'm not a member or anything, but I've really been enjoying the car content. There's just something nice about racing where it's chill at times, competitive at times. I wouldn't mind if multiplayer driving streams took over for a bit like Among Us had ;)

So the Initial D thing, the MC drives his dads '86 Corolla Trueno. His best friend wants to be/drive like him, so he goes and buys what he thinks is the same car but ends up with an '85 Corolla Levin. The Levin has a much weaker engine, and unlike the MCs Trueno, isn't tuned for racing.

I'm going to get GT7 at some point, but I'm not sure when. I might wait for it to be a bit cheaper for the sake of my wallet since I did buy the special edition of Elden Ring for the artbook and soundtrack back in Dec and I really ought to wait a bit longer. I like the methodical approach to racing and that online is entirely optional since I don't have a PS+ account and have no need for one since I don't play games that actually require it. It'll be a good change of pace from bashing my head against whatever FromSoftware game I'm stuck on, lol.
Luke picking a Mustang for that race had me laughing a lot and that's before he started messing about in the last lap. Not the car I'd have picked for any track with any sort of cornering at all.

1:37:00 Stagger. In oval racing, the right rear wheel is slightly larger than usual. This gives the car the tendency to turn left.

What steering wheels you using?
I knew Luke was a Vette guy.
Only gripe is his choice of a 3rd generation Corvette.
I know, I know-- the C3 has less wetted drag than the C2. But the 2nd gen 'Vettes are classy while the C3 is too disco.
Edit: Just for fun, I‘d love to see them have a race on the longest track with only Fiat 500 F‘68 without tuning 😅😵😂😂😂

What are your thoughts about this one in comparison to forza? Better, worse, equal?

As to open world, you have to understand there are two different titles under the Forza banner.
Forza Motorsports is the competitor to Gran Turismo: The races are run on closed race tracks (real world and fictional).
Forza Horizon is the open world racer.
