Up date is good but I'm more interested how you can turn on the ignition and the lights don't come on. I'm in the UK and all the lights come on whenever you turn the key, anytime I want to do any work on the bike that involves having the ignition turned on for any length of time I have to pull the lights fuse out, it's a real pain up the backside.
MCU FAILURE prompt ecountered.
Just updated my app while connected to the bike.
No more errors.

Havw you figured out to see which software version the bike has? I bought mkne this week, mine just says "not available" and was wondering if the bike had been updated when the dealer got it
Just took mine to the dealer. Cf moto told them to have me bring it in to reflash the software. It now has a black screen that doesn’t work anymore.
When they send the update?. I connect my bike and app. It says no update
Error has come on 3 times. First was after the dealer did all updates when I bought it. Next time was riding in Palm Desert. The bike temp just kept climbing at some long Red lights, but the error went away after riding. Next was out riding to a nice campground. Temps were cool and we had had some rain. Next morning I get get same error. Disconnected the battery and then after hooking the v battery up, bo more error. I have been doing some riding. No error. Today the outside temp is low 90's and the bikes temp goes over 201 before the fan turns on. And tge error is back. Called the dealer. They don't know anything about the issue.
I spoke to cfmoto and the update had bugs so they removed it. That were to release it again last week but haven’t yet. I keep checking daily
Mine just popped with the error today. Of course its 110 here today and i was doing alot of around town stop and go. Cfmoto customer care didnt have any ideas when the new update was coming out. Ugh i absolutly love this bike but its worrying.

Hi From British Columbia. Have my 2023 Ibex 800MT which I have had @ 3 weeks now. Week one it throws the MCU failure code. Took it to 2 different CF Moto dealers and they did not have the equipment to read the code or reflash/do updates! They say because it is a new model they only have been given a non - complete diagnotic tool by CF Moto. This seem illogical as from your video's and others this motel has been out over a year in other markets around the world. Surely CF Moto would have fixed or have updated this?? But apears not. This really does not instill confidence in CF Moto if this has been going on so long without any fix.
I have the same warning light MCU failure but my app doesn’t have the update. Did the update just show up for you or did you have to do something to obtain it?

did they push out the update eventually? I'm assuming this was only for the 800MT IBEX?

yes the ibex 800t comes with tubeless tires. P.S. I have watched a ton of your metal detecting videos a couple years ago when I was metal detecting a lot. Small world. ;-)
