OC, that's what i Love is the storage options for these types of bikes, grants mine is a 2020 Honda NC750X but i added the top case and am going to go for the side bags as well, Who needs a car.
G'Day Mate. Got mine with all the stuff fitted, even Shinko off road tyres. So i didnt really notice the weight until i took the panniers off for cleaning, such a difference. I weighed the panniers and topbox. 33kg all up and loaded with my camping stuff, sorry, dont know in pounds. Ive ordered the soft panniers for off road and will save the hard ones for road riding. Its a geeat bike though, i got the sand/ green colour they called the mt800 limited here in Australia, looks pretty good
OC: watched all your content on this bike, you make a compelling case. The only objections people voice is it’s Chinese roots. But truth be told if we removed all Chinese products from our homes and garages here in the UK, then we would be missing a load of stuff. In your next vid, can you list any faults, issues or gripes?
OC, I have just the panniers, totally agree with the lane filtering. On my old zx14r no problems but I second guess with my MT800. Also I have dropped it accidently as on the stand, it was leaning to far to the left, will get the stand pad extenders. Thanks mate! Greetings from Australia.
OC i bought a KLR650 adventure with saddle’s and added the top bag. It has ruined me for daily riding, i cant even ride one of my sport bikes to work now lol. Great video the ibex looks like a perfect commute
OC - that bike has a remote preload doesn't it? If you add weight on the back then you will want to add preload to keep the stock steering geometry. Keep track of how many turns you add, that way you can reduce the preload when you remove the bags for more serious riding.
OC - maybe you have but you can you do a price break down on all your upgrades you’ve put on the bike? This bike is a top contender for my next motorcycle. The other 2 bikes are the Super Tenere and the Tracer 9 GT/GT+
I got the Ibex 800 T and have about 100 miles on it... Scares the crap out of me when I engine break and decelerate... Just under 4k RPM it will lurch and give me a strange shove... that's zero throttle. Last night I took it out and there was a dead spot on the throttle at like 4500 where it just bogged... I like the bike overall but because this bike is newer and the brand isn't quite as proven... I don't fully trust it yet.
@Syn741 uses ktm engines basically and all their electronics. I've read a tune fixes all the issues. Idk tho. Lots of new bikes ride like crap until they are tuned.
I have a tiger 800 and have (or added) all these mods. I generally leave my panniers at home unless I am going camping, stops me filling them with lots of useless stuff.
OC, Being that I am not very mechanically inclined, does this seem like a reliable bike for you so far? I love how it looks and seems to be a very good bike, still a little cautious of it. The big negative I have heard is the mapping of the fuel. Has that been worked out yet?
@chaseontwowheels Question: I have an opportunity to purchase an 2024 Ibex for much lower cost than normal but the dealership I am working with bought it at an auction. Since they are not a certified CFMoto Motorcycle dealer (they sell the ATVs) and the bike was bought at auction, they cannot offer the 2 year warranty. Should I run away from this or what?

Hi there, this video was informative from pros and cons perspective, did you observe any chnage in RPM and MPH combination before and fater all the accessories were added. At 80 MPH whta is the RPM reading?
I just picked up one of these. In Georgia as well. Love the bike but for some reason my cruise control is not working (won't set). Where did you order the accessories from?
the bike obviously has the power and suspension to handle all the weight, if you are touring, all fine... but i would not get into fire roads with loose sand or mud with it, because boy you are going to be suffering.
Has this Cfmoto been lent to you, or is this a bought and paid for bike. Is all the equipment that has been put on the bike been given to you by cfmoto to show viewsers thier range off add on parts or again did you pay for all of the parts.

OC - I am loving my Ibex 800T, glad there is someone making content about the bike here in the states.
OC i bought a KLR650 adventure with saddle’s and added the top bag. It has ruined me for daily riding, i cant even ride one of my sport bikes to work now lol. Great video the ibex looks like a perfect commute
same. got a yellow 23 traveler abs last week. my sport bike is collecting dust.
I do our grocery shopping with a full Bumot set, including top box. It's amazing how much I can carry.

Glad you are doing one on my bike, looking forward to seeing your take on it.
The turn of phrase you were look for is "Nature abhors a vacuum"
OC - Thanks! SERIOUSLY looking in to this bike.
Great bike BuT near zero dealer network/support….

i mean.... it's a chinese bike at the end of the day...
Isn’t it electric throttle? Maybe makes rev matching more interesting
CF Moto are recalling some models due to potential ABS brake failure! That would scare the crap out a rider in an emergency situation 😱🤞

is this bike you are riding dct version?i can't see the cluch lever.
Panniers are definitely a game changer!
I am loving my Ibex 800T. I haven't gotten around to adjusting my suspension but I need to.
TransAlp, Ibex, 800de shootout. A day that I'm looking forward to.....

Can't wait for the accessory added o part 2

Got a link to the kick stand extender?
Great video. Thanks for all the info. How's the bike with a passenger? Also, is there any hemet buffeting with the small windscreen?
My wife says it it so comfortable and the back pad on the top pannier makes it feel safer.

Now make a light weigh test, mod the bike, take out everything even the original bars
Add rear preload, you are raking the bike out with the extra weight at the back.
OC Can you get it up on the center stand? I'm 62 years and 149lbs. I'm finding it a problem.
OC: If the IBEX is too heavy. May I suggest we Collab on an adventure PAPIO XO-1 😉
I'll take one for the team and ride it from ATL to Houston 😎🛵💨💨
OC OG Cup of tea
Sorry for weird question, but what is the difference between cfmoto 800 mt 2022 and ibex 2023?
Did you have to significantly change the suspention settings after adding the extra weight?
Won't those bar ends sticking out of the crash bars act as a hook in a crash and destroy the bike instead of slide?
OC…so now i officially want one!
Can you fit a full face helmet on the top box?
No problem room for gloves as well.
Me still waiting for a 450ss first ride.😢
Did you reset up suspension???
the bike obviously has the power and suspension to handle all the weight, if you are touring, all fine... but i would not get into fire roads with loose sand or mud with it, because boy you are going to be suffering.
Chase is on his way to becoming a bagger bro
Waiting Crew: the Ibex's new name "Big Booty Judy"
