    Just thought I'd mention that the white paper/board you're holding @5:42 isn't foam. It's actually a plastic sheet you can stick to the bottom of the case (it's like a big sticker, you can peel away the white paper attached to it). The purpose I believe is to protect your PCB from accidentally shorting out by touching the aluminum case. I also got the purple M1

      Yeah, As I didn't know it first but I peeled it off and stick it in the case XD

    What key caps should I purchase? Just bought it and didn't know I had to mod this up haha hoping you could create a video as well for just installing the stabilizers

    Thanks for the video! I noticed you removed the black foam between the PCB and the poly plate. How come? Is it better for the sound?

      I have the keyboard right now and I'm pretty sure it's because of the installation of stabilizers

    hey, i just wanted to ask if that switches lubing is important to do, or i dont have to do it

    • @prawnis
      @prawnis Рік тому +1

      its really important. It makes the switches sound better, and feel smoother. If you don't lube the switches, then your jkeyboiard is mostly going to sound really bad.

    • @luigideangelis5688
      @luigideangelis5688 7 місяців тому

      It depends: if switches are factory lubed (and nowadays most are) doing another lube may be not necessary if not dangerous for final results in case of excessive lubing. If switches are not factory lubed (ex cherry switches usually are not), lubing will enhance sound and feeling a lot, but it's a long and tedious journey.

    • @kalouk2
      @kalouk2  7 місяців тому

      Ohh, My camera angle is a bit odd ,
      To tune the stabilizer wire.
      Some time those wire are bending a little bit.
      It will make your keyboard's space bar, enter, backspace or shift some tick noise.
