"AUSTRA YOUR VOICE AN ALMIGHTY SOUND" I like the definition of the album Future Politics, propelled by economic and philosophical texts she was reading throughout the album’s creation.
I love that line, "My work is valid, I can't prove it but I know." Something about the bravery of a lone artist standing up to the dehumanizing force of global capitalism that wants to silence this perspective. This song is like a modern version of Imagine.

Depression. She was talking about depression. She saw it coming years ahead. This is why we have such great art now. Depression will create the final generation. 😬

There is something about Austra's music that it is timeless for me.
I forgot about her for a couple years. Was looking over some old playlists a few days ago and found her again. :)
I thank spotify for recommending me such an amazing artist.
Yeah, I want to thank you spotify too! and Austra of course :)
Austra is certainly one the most underated bands to these days.
SO TRUE
same with iamamiwhoami
Absolutely
Some of the most beautiful vocals I have ever heard in my life, strait through the flesh and body to the soul.
This song and video cleared my skin, straightened my hair and beat me in the face. Thank you.
I can beat you in the face too if you want. But only if you are a man.
@@lindamariamargareta6262 That's oddly disturbing.

Right on!
her voice is UNIQUE
Dramatic Kid if ur looking for similar artists, try grimes (especially her earlier stuff) and purity ring!
Geidi Primes is one of my favorite albums ever :)
Dramatic Kid her voice sounds remarkably like Florence welch's- give Florence and the machine a listen! :)
I think their voices sound similar but at the same time they're also different especially when Katie hits high notes.
Anyway I love Florence :)
I was thinking that Florence and Austra sounded most similar in both their head voices.
One of the most interesting pop band of these years...
interesting fusion of styles. The chord changes remind me of early new wave while utilizing a more modern sounding digital palette. She's excellent.
Nowhere Girl from B movie is very reminiscent of the melody dance beat, piano keyboards...

It should be illegal to be so beautiful and cute aaaaa omg she is so gorgeous it’s hypnotizing
This was the song I chose to listen first in 2020.

It's been soooo long, and so far it looks like she's made a great return

Just came back from your gig in London tonight! You guys were absolutely incredible!

Le retour du grand pouvoir de Katie & co, équilibre parfait retrouvé. Amour

One of the most impressive electro pop song of the last decade.
Queen of majesty and mystery

Heavenly melodies. Thank you.
This song is a little gem.
I believe it is their best.
so much 80's vibe in this.
independent music made this like this for a ling time and better.
Uno de mis deseos para 2023, ya lo tengo, cómo el de varios años atrás es que Austra venga a México 🙏❤️

This will be perfect to listen to, while driving down deserted streets in the middle of the night
or long road trips in mountain valleys. Echoy songs always work well for that.

very atmospheric song and video
Love the music, love Katie. Well done Austra!
I cried and shidded and puked for days after I first heard this song in 2016! It's been on my hard rotation ever since.
Peculiar song, with some very dark, vindictive subject matter. I'm surprised that there seem to be no comments getting into the meaning of this song.
Amo este hermoso video ❤ ❤

Haunting, bright and crawling. 'Utopia' is a tongue-in-cheek criticism of personified perfection sprinkled with isolated bliss... I hope...

so many times when walking the streets of my city I look around and I feel that way too...

i love this. thank you vice news for sharing! so awesome!
Katie's done something with her face (that's not criticism, btw., she looks superlovely). And this is a magnificent song.
She has just lost weight :)
Losing weight has a side effect of "face gains" where generally people look more attractive after significant weight loss.
OK, you're both right! :)
Katie has always been the queen of attractiveness!
Yaaay. Can't wait for More!!
Beautiful. Just beautiful!
She was in Mexico for a while....between the 2nd and 3rd albums....where she heard and really liked the electro cumbia scene
Please, also include Bucharest on your European Tour list!
