Fun fact: in Unity and Syndicate the leap of faith's sound is an eagle's cry when the charachter is leaping from a lower distance, instead while leaping from a higher distance the sound is a hawk's cry

Unity leap of faith has the best sound and visuals. There is a real sense of speed, and the sound of wind rushing by is really loud.
Compare that to Valhalla or Origins, which look like the guy is slowly floating down.

except in asgard where the camera gets really weird on the first viewpoint
I completely missed Valhalla having a raven sound. I straight up thought it was just ambient sound when I jumped

Unity and syndicate has the same high distance jump sound, and low distance jump sounds are the same in unity , syndicate,origins and odyssey
I think that Rogue’s sound effect being the same as 3’s is quite fitting, tbh-

The reason it’s a raven in ac Valhalla is because that’s Eivor’s signature bird. It’s also the bird of Odin. Odin is the ancestor of Eivor

Considering that Unity and Syndicate were the last true AC games, their leap of faith sound effects and visuals were peak Assassin's Creed.

Why does mirage feels like AC 2 remastered in bagdad. I hope it have new gameplay feel like unity and not just a AC game made for fan service
The parkour felt very Origins to me.

mirage is js valhalla, it was supposed to be a DLC but it got changed into a game.

It's very much an ac made for fan service. Weather you like it or not, there's a big part of the fanbase that wants ac 2 and nothing else, and it's clear that's the fanbase these guys are pertaining to
Honestly I kinda love the idea of changing it to a raven's cry in valhalla, it ties better into eivor's character

Unrelated to the sound but did you know in 1-revelations Altair and ezio flip right away but after 3 they only flip toward the end. You can see it in longer falls

Far Cry:
Far Cry 2 -> 4 (classics, the good ones) = machete
Far Cry 5 + ND (modern, the bad ones) => two things other than machete
Far Cry 6 (attempt to restore the old glory) = machete again
Assassin's Creed
AC 1 -> Origins (classics, the good ones) = eagle
AC Odyssey + Valhalla (modern, the bad ones) = two things other than eagle
AC Mirage (attempt to restore the old glory) = eagle again
And of course this comment is gonna get less attention than the slave outfit in Valhalla that you get in the beginning

doubt you can’t run AC1. it can run on almost any computer at this point with how old it is
3:33 Wonder why they used a Raven? Is because in Norse Mythology, Odin had 2 ravens, and Eivor is the reincarnation of Odin.

Eivor is the only one that has a raven, he/she is also the first character to have a different flying animal than an eagle
The beta of origins had a different eagle cry than the retail one, I prefer the beta over the retail
