Actually, Edward Kenway's first jump happened when he and the rogue assassin washed up in that island at the beginning of the game after their ships sank. If I am not mistaken, Edward took two leaps of faith while on the island. Once when he was chasing the assassin, and the next when he was trying to rescue Bonnet at the end of that stage.
Those are optional synchronization points.

If the side quests count, Kassandra's first leap of faith could be when she did the quest "In the footsteps of gods" on Kephalonia where you have to find a spear for a priestess in the caves nearby.

I think Ubisoft Quebec messed up the lore by adding a leap of faith for Kassandra when that idea originated in Origins lol

I think side quests have to count, because the only way you can learn the leap of faith in Valhalla is to do the side quest with Hytham

It's hard to say about Kassandra, because there are quite a few missions where a Leap of Faith is mandatory. If i had to limit it to the tutorial area ( Kephalonia ), there's a side mission ( one of the very first ) where she has to find a Spear that's lost in a underwater cave, and you have the option to do a Leap of Faith to access such cave.
There are lots of stacks of flowers/hay under Synchronization posts in oddesey where you can do leaps of faith once you sync with them
Yes but this video is based on scenes where the game forces you to do a leap of fate. All synchonizations that are outside of missions are your own choice. Meaning the game isn't forcing you to do it. And with the amount of quest in AC Odyssey that have things to do with the leap of faith, it wall depends on what quest you choose to do first

For Kassandra/Alexios, the first faith leap in the game is after you synchronize with Zeus statue on Kephalonia.
There are very few of them in the game, only at synchronization points, key game events or if you dive in the water.

lmao the first thing i did when i saw the zeus statue was to make kassandra hang on zeus's dick which triggers a funny dialogue
i hope we get more similar styled ac games like ac unity and syndicate in those time periods because they where fun to explore
I suspect Mirage will be its successor, i heard they will use an "old" engine to make Mirage it could probably be the engine that Unity used
@@ReikiMaulana sadly it’s still the current engine the previous three titles used. But it’s definitely a step in the right direction. Will it be as beautiful as Unity and Syndicates engine? Sadly no but I do hope they go back to it. Unity was my favorite and it’s such a gorgeous game
I prefer eivor leap of faith, I like hytham reactions when eivor did come out from the haystack... and basically the selected few that actually talk about their first jump and didnt just brush it off like its their everyday thing, also if I remember correctly eivor jump animation change before and after your learn the leap of faith

Shay's first leap of faith is at the very start of the game, after the first cutscene with Liam. Him and Shay both leap from a tree into a pile of leaves.

The best leaps of faith are when they actually acknowledge that it's their first time and not just do it like it's another tuesday for them.
Arno's first Leap Of Faith was when he needed to find a carriage, Edward's first Leap Of Faith was after he killed Duncan, and Shay's was when he was following Liam in Sequence 1 Mission 1. So this video has a few mistakes.

I think i like the twins the best. Granted in comparison to the rest theirs come off as bland. Even so, the way they did it look so natural to them, and the fact that you could perfectly see Evie follow Jakob's lead like that? Very smooth, and for ones so young.

Kassandras and alexios first leap was on the island of Kefallonia when she climbed the Zeus statue to find Markos vineyard and when she. Synchronizes the viewpoint, she leaps 8:30
But that's not mandatory. The game doesn't tell you to go and up and scan the area, I believe the first leap of faith were in the side mission(in the footsteps of the gods) where you have to find a spear for a priestess, so you have to jump into the cave.
Ezio's leap of faith is done with thrill and awesomeness especially in AC 2 and that is certainly a fearless act.
Shay's is representative of the creed he swore. Shot in the back (a sign of betrayal) and him being forced to jump while injured (being forced to leave the Assassins while heartbroken by it)

There’s also the Watch Dogs Legion Assassin’s Creed crossover DLC. Pretty sure Darcy performs a leap of faith in the mission to acquire her uniform.
I’d count that DLC as well, just because the producers do not consider that DLC canon doesn’t mean that the developers don’t and do not have the intention to connect the franchises

No he got it correct, he is not talking about leap of faiths from random viewpoints, but parts of the game where it was necessary for the character and plot to perform it

Going canonically for Bayek, his first leap of faith was as a child where, similar to what Bayek tries to do for his son, his father asked him to jump from the ledge into the water below

Technically Kassandra's first leap of faith was when she got thrown off the cliff, but I'm also certain near the start of the game, we have to leap from the Statue of Zeus?
Heading to the statue of Zeus on kaphalonia is optional, if the game is played as intended in adventure /discovery mode and not in guided mode then it is helpful to do the Zeus statue to find wher one is headed but it is also possible to avoid it and just stumble upon Marcus vineyard using Ikaros or blind luck

I do miss them, but I adored Origins & Odyssey just as much in a different way. I don't mind reliving the early AC days but I do want to eventually get back to open world (even if that world is a little smaller)

Can’t Edward do a Leap of Faith on the initial island? I’m pretty sure there’s a small village with a synchronization point you can get before catching up with Duncan. Though that mission is the first time you are required to perform one.
There is one there, is it mandatory? I think it's interesting to find each one that isamdatory and unmissable. I think it is possible that some characters may totally have missable/avoidable leap of faiths

Kassandra's first leap was waaaaay back even before she left Kefalonia. It's either her first sync point (Zeus statue) or the underground lake near that.
With Hayek he can do a leap of faith in any place we here you’d an synchronise the one you showed was just a major one but I still liked it
Technically for Bayek of Siwa, his first Leap of Faith occured in Siwa upon his friend's and medjay home. Not in Alexandria.

i think haythem's jump in ac3 has the best build up cause the ac3 theme is one of my favorites by far, (just below black flag) but arno's has the best actual leap with the panning shot into the title card.

Kassandras first jump was off of the statue of Zeus. Funny dialog can be said if you use a certain part as a handhold.
Altair may seem fearless when he made his first leap but I was quite scared on that part of the game!!😅😅😅

I think it’d be crazy if a future AC game has you play as a character and like 10 minutes in he does a leap of faith but fucks up and dies, and then it switches for the rest of the game to the real character I think that’d be funny as fuck
