I just bought exactly the same one. Did all the calibrations. I got it hovering but it was drifting. I was routine adjustments to keep it close to me. I was nowhere the throttle. Without warning, it shot up and flew off. Not found it since. I've emailed them but nothing received. Great first flight
That happened to me today 😂lucky it hit a tree and fell
To explain - the return to home function has a setting telling the drone at what altitude it is to return to home at (This is to make sure that the drone will not be too low when flying a straight line 'return to home' that it will crash into anything)'. If the drone is below this altitude when you engage the return to home the drone will first go up to that altitude before it returns back home down again.
1960 feet is still better then a lot of other more expensive drone ….price is pretty decent right now to on this one …at least till the end …..great vid man thanks

Do you think this drone can carry bait for drone fishing? Just carry the bait out, drop and return? Just curious what the payload capacity is? I’m looking for a cheap drone to fish with.

What up bro! Nice picture on that one👍🏿GPS follow means it just follows the GPS in the transmitter. Check inside the battery bay for the SD card slot. I had a Syma drone and inside the battery bay was where they hid the SD card slot! 🤷🏿♂️

Very nice review and function video. I am looking to purchase a drone for the first time. I have a question though. Can this drone take straight up overhead ( like satellite view on G maps or earth) photos or recording? Thanks again for the vid.
I just bought one a few days ago and it will not hover like yours did. I tried it 3 times and it immediately takes off in a crazy direction. It did nothing when I hit return, it continued on it's own journey and landed on my carport. Thankfully not damaged. GPS says its working. This is terrible, only my second drone and I can't get a good drone to work properly. My last one wouldn't connect to my phone and got a partial refund. Takes forever when you order them. Over 6 months and still no good video footage.
Bro calibrat the drone
This is actually funny, the drone doing it's own thing. 4DRC drones are ok if you get them real cheap used 'cus the previous owner crashed it. The big thing to note with all the 4DRC F series is not to fly them with GPS active, just fly manually. The software is not well written and on the android it does crash a far bit. Another thing is that the flight distance lies it's head off as to have far you flown. I've seen many times the counter just jump to a ridiculous increase usually 50 metres in 1 sec of flight. Also the begineer mode geofencing doesn't seem to turn off when you set it to off. I've not tried the maximum range due to laws about VLOS where I fly but I think I have seen a YT video where my model, F3, can go 1km. Only the M1 model seems to have more range but it does use a different version of the 4DRC Pro software. Last but no means least, the F series do not have a password on the phone to drone wifi. Very easy to have the drone hijacked by someone else while in flight.

I own this drone and the answer is yes; the calibration is to align the drone with the GPS, and link it with the controller, IIRC, not the settings.
i got this drone my problem is i cant seem to use my controller and my android at the same time, like fix the phone on the holder and record, i can only use the phone itself to fly and record or the controller only

Just tried it briefly
Beginner mode limits the speed/altitude/distance the drone will fly at, so you can get used to it more easily.

Good looking drone, seems pretty capable at the price point, but was put of by the way the camera pans up and down in those rather large increments

Maybe fly it with an action camera with EIS?
I don't think it is powerful enough to lift a GoPro. Maybe a lighter action camera with EIS? There are actually not many drones left you can use with your own camera. Bugs 3 and 5 and no longer made. Would be nice to have one with GPS for say $60-$70-$80.
Of course if you remove the original camera you won't have special features as the app won't connect.
I do own a Aosenma CG035. But that thing has been a disaster. In GPS mode it takes off and flies away. The altitude hold doesn't work. I can only fly it with throttle and even then it crashes when landing. Shame, because I bought it for the follow-me. The controller had built-in GPS and that makes it very accurate. ( just like my Fimi A3)

But perhaps you can test if the F11 can lift a better camera like for example my 60 gram Akaso V50X with excellent EIS?

Yes but you need the iPhone 14 to record 4 k video it will have been nice to have a Sd card slot 😢😊
I think antennas are remote stand it’s cool put phone on it and sits nice on table not sure but works for me lol

I dont get why these budget drones always have a shitty camera. I might attach my Yi 2k Action Camera on this somehow which produce nicer images.

@@driewiel Yes, or ... simply divide by 10 FPV range, multiply by 2 weight, divide by 6 flight time and ... you get the correct figure. Oh uh! I forget ... divide by 10 resolution.
