That is one of the better budget drones you've reviewed. The video and pictures were crisp and clear. Most other budget drones that claim to have 4k look terrible. I am seriously going to have to consider this one. As always, thanks for an informative review.

Thanks to your videos I've just purchased Mavic air 2. So far so good I'm amazed by technology . My first attempt at camera drone 25yrs + ago was a RC aeroplane I'd built with camera poking out the bottom with a servo set up to press button on camera .Crazy how technology has moved on Thanks again watching from South Wales UK
Ive purchased this drone and have flown many others. I have to give this lesser known company credit. Its well built, stable, has amazing picture quality that is also stable even with drone movement. It moves just as quick maybe even faster than other brands of this size drone and its speed control actually works unlike others. The cell phone holder on the transmitter is a million times better than some bigger brands. Battery life is also amazing. Even picture transmisssion is very stable at moderate distances. Cant beat it.
This might make for a perfect first drone for my kid if it gets here in time for Santa. Hopefully I can find a gimbal guard for it somewhere. Great review!

Bought one of these based on this review. It's the first drone I've bought so I have nothing else to compare it with but I'm surprised at how limited the range is. Guess I just didn't know what to expect. I can get some good footage from high up but I seem to be stuck to a 150 foot or so radius around me.

That is an excellent drone and at the current discount surprisingly low price. Decent case too! Half the cost of the Mavic Mini and no GeoFencing. I have the SJRC F11 Pro (thanks to your awesome review of it) for which is a great drone, especially for the money. Now this comes out and the video quality is extremely better than the F11 Pro and thankfully there is NO fish eye lens (like on the F11 Pro). Please do some comparisons between the F11 Pro and F11 4K Pro (video and picture). Also, will the F11 Pro battery fit in the F11 4K Pro?
I'm absolutely new to all of this. I'm on the verge of purchasing a F11s 4k with 2 batteries and a bag from Ali Express for $C 360.00 delivered. Battery charging rates seem slow so I wanted a second one. FWIW I've purchased from Ali before and found them reliable though quite slow in delivery. Thank you Captain for a thorough review that even a new guy can understand.
I have the SJRC F11 4k Pro and the Mavic Air 2. I love flying both of them. Honestly, this drone is far better than it has any right being. Sure, it lacks the customizability of the more expensive drones when it comes to video and photos, but in terms of just raw performance, for what you're paying for, this thing is a beast of a drone. When it comes to the controller, you can tell that's where the budget cuts were made. That's not to say it has a bad controller, but you can tell it was where a lot of the cost savings were put into effect. It gets the job done though. Oh and this thing will take off anywhere whereas DJI drones sometimes try to put you on a proverbial leash. ;)
I bought a refurbished mavic mini with 3 batteries for $199.00 I sold it on Facebook marketplace about a week after I was delivered. Sold for $200.00. never spun the props not even at all just a couple twitches at power up. Nothing I did would work. I was within 5 miles of will Rogers airport. Not in the red . But in the orange zone about 4 blocks from green . I got FAA permission to fly with a couple restrictions. Still didn't turn. I tried in the rural areas not near any airport or restricted zone. And so frustratingly nothing moved. I wanted it but I ended up wanting it out of my life even more. Sorry for rambling your comment struck a bad memory. I think I'm going to check this drone out. The best one I've had so far. That worked anyway is the L900 pro lyzrc. It worked pretty good most of the time. But not even glonass and optical flow would eventually keep it from going crazy never to be seen again.

Yes he has... And exactly my doubts too! This one looks like a better deal at 227$ with 2 batteries vs 300$ for the HS720E The camera quality seems to be better and the stabilization will definitely be better cause of the 2 axis gimbal. Can we please have your verdict cap?
Thanks man, saved the day. Just trying to get it in the air. Could not get the mobile to show the image. Had it lying in my room for some time. Today I wanted to look at our roof, but it started to rain. It's been dry for about 1.5 months. I have a very small drone for practice, now this has to be explored. Love your work!❤
For ariel photogaphy it looks absoultely fantastic. Great flight time too. Got to be the ultimate drone for a beginer or anyone thinking of having a bash. For this price and that level of quality. Look no futher. Cheers Captain, some quality footage there.
Another great video!! (You're better than a Captain.. you are now the GENERAL DRONE!) So a couple questions.. 1. Did the remote screen visibility in the sunlight bother you? Am concerned about that. 2. Did the remote "warning voice" resolve? I love that this has a gimbal but those issues put this just below the MJXRC Bugs 12 EIS for me.. I have not used the drone since the review due to having large amounts of products to review. The controller screen is non-viewable in direct sunlight so you will have to shade it with your body. The audio can just be turned off on your phone.
Ok pulling the trigger on this one since its dog friendly. Contemplating against Bugs 12 but the gimble will likely compensate the tilted frame shots and a better follow me/orbit app with rechargeable controller. Plus my dog will love this too.
Good morning Sir...…I am no expert but here is my take on the landing so far away from the pad. It is relative to your compass adjustment and the verbal warning you got on the phone. Just here me out and correct me if I am way off because I am a novice. Even though you got the solid lights after your compass adjustment I feel it wasn't adequate. The compass adjustment is to remove the magnetic field of the metal in the drone from the true magnetic field. There is a lot of copper in the motors and the app thought you had the arm folded in and throwing off the adjustment perhaps. Because you didn't stand up, with drone at arms length, and spun in a circle like the manual says? You are are so close to the ground and all the other objects with magnetic fields (go-pro, controller, ground minerals) that it just didn't get it right. Hence the far away landing. Not being critical just trying to be analytical. I have to "ground balance" my metal detector to remove the mineral influence on the magnetometer, could your close proximity to the ground have had an effect on your compass calibration as well? Love your channel Sir. SUBBED.
If you have followed Steve as long as I have then thinks all fit into place. However, your comment for us lesser mortal are very valuable. keep watching.

I wish the makers of these drones would show their buyers some appreciation by at providing them another way to upgrade their (not so) old drone cameras.😢 Buying the same drone (with the same features ) just to upgrade the camera is not worth it. The left side of the image is blurry, something wrong the lens, maybe just QC or decentering. Still it’s so much better than any gimbal-less budget drone you’ve tried.

In regards to course requirements it is all up to the rules of the country you live in. In CANADA, one just needs to pay $10 and write an online exam and another $5 to register the drone with Transport Canada. From experience I have seen that people who fly their drone away from people (out in a field with no one around) don't bother since they are not annoying anyone.

The original F11 was a great entry level drone, to be honest it was a better flyer than The original Zino. The F11 and the JJrc x9 Heron to me were the best of the beginner budget drones

Captain Drone, have you tried commanding the drone to return home while the battery was still good to see if it would land on the landing pad; you should try that and see.

I would recommend people to watch your postaged footage, it was very helpful. It does show the shortcomings of the image quality/artifacting, jello etc. I'm sure a great drone but for usable budget footage is may jist miss the mark in my opinion... I found hs720e/105 Better for video quality. Would you have an opinion on that drone comparison. Thank you

Obviously "DJI, paymore more etc." But I kept it as a budget comparison from footage of hs105 in 31mph gusts just found it all interesting. Thanks for your reply, enjoy droning.

You wouldnt, DJI is the top drone in the world, and probably will be for a while. If you get your first drone, do yourself a favor and get a Mavic Mini 1 Fly More, $299, comes with 3 Batteries, Case, Prop Guards, everything. The best budget drone money can buy. I wouldnt waste the $150 and just save up another $150 and get something that will last you a good 10 years

I would say out of the budget drones, this is decent drone for a good price, as a first drone I would be happy with it. The price to order from the UK is under £200 with 3 batteries, bargain. Good review, regards.

pretty cool. the grass lines on the farm / field were surprisingly nice. i always find it interesting how the grass can appear distinctly textured while the trees appear slightly less distinct.

Actually, I just found the setting in the app that limits the distance. So, great drone.

As you said there is a beginners mode that would restrict the range.

when return to home is activated, does it climb to a different height or just return at the height it is when told to return? Thanks
If low to the ground, it climbs to a set height. If already above the set height, it then returns at that height.
OK, and how well does it do in moderate winds with higher gusts? Looks like it was a fairly calm day where you were.
I wish the makers of these drones would show their buyers some appreciation by at providing them another way to upgrade their (not so) old drone cameras.😢
Buying the same drone (with the same features ) just to upgrade the camera is not worth it. Sure they’ll probably upgrade the battery a bit too ...but still...

The left side of the image is blurry, something wrong the lens, maybe just QC or decentering. Still it’s so much better than any gimbal-less budget drone you’ve tried.

In regards to course requirements it is all up to the rules of the country you live in. In CANADA, one just needs to pay $10 and write an online exam and another $5 to register the drone with Transport Canada. From experience I have seen that people who fly their drone away from people (out in a field with no one around) don't bother since they are not annoying anyone.

The original F11 was a great entry level drone, to be honest it was a better flyer than The original Zino. The F11 and the JJrc x9 Heron to me were the best of the beginner budget drones

Especially if my main use will be to shoot cinematic videos... (I really liked the tripod mode in Holy stone). I guess this one wins because of the 2-axis gimbal and EIS put together?

Captain Drone, have you tried commanding the drone to return home while the battery was still good to see if it would land on the landing pad; you should try that and see.

You must use a 16 gig card. Also you must stop recording before turning off the power or else files are corrupted.
I'm happy with mine glad I didn't buy the 3axis beast this works much better and having better video I also like the fact you can use the older batteries from the other models great review 😁👍
I would recommend people to watch your postaged footage, it was very helpful. It does show the shortcomings of the image quality/artifacting, jello etc.
I'm sure a great drone but for usable budget footage is may jist miss the mark in my opinion... I found hs720e/105 Better for video quality. Would you have an opinion on that drone comparison. Thank you
@@gooddaysdroningmattgoode4353 I agree, I was just referring to artifacting and image compared to a drone of a comparable price. Obviously "DJI, paymore more etc." But I kept it as a budget comparison from footage of hs105 in 31mph gusts just found it all interesting.

You wouldnt, DJI is the top drone in the world, and probably will be for a while. If you get your first drone, do yourself a favor and get a Mavic Mini 1 Fly More, $299, comes with 3 Batteries, Case, Prop Guards, everything. The best budget drone money can buy. I wouldnt waste the $150 and just save up another $150 and get something that will last you a good 10 years

How long maximum control height of F11 4K pro?
It flys as high as the distance of the transmission feed, so not super high.
I would say out of the budget drones, this is decent drone for a good price, as a first drone I would be happy with it.
The price to order from the UK is under £200 with 3 batteries, bargain.

Hi Captain ,you know what I think ?they listened to us when we mentioned that the first F11 should have a display on the remote screen but how good this one is we don't know yet but honestly the F11 was never a bad beginer drone at all, as a matter of fact the F11 was one of the most outstanding ones in the budget drone category ,I like this model a lot and I am thinking about getting one for my fun flying .Thanks for the great review Captain .

pretty cool. the grass lines on the farm / field were surprisingly nice. i always find it interesting how the grass can appear distinctly textured while the trees appear slightly less distinct.
